Obama to Soldiers: Pay Up

Threatens to veto bill unless it hikes health care fees for service members

 BY: – June 29, 2012 10:22 am

The Obama administration on Friday threatened to veto a defense appropriations bill in part because it does not include higher health care fees for members of the military.“The Administration is disappointed that the Congress did not incorporate the requested TRICARE fee initiatives into either the appropriation or authorization legislation,” the White House wrote in an official policy statement expressing opposition to the bill, which the House approved in May.

President Obama’s most recent budget proposal includes billions of dollars in higher fees for members of TRICARE, the military health care system, and is part of the administration’s plan to cut nearly $500 billion from the Pentagon’s budget.   ….

    Bull,

Oh this is so maddening. He won’t get the military vote and I guess the dems will once again try to figure out how to “suppress” their votes.

Ed Rendell from Pennsylvania tried to suppress the military votes in 2004 and there was a drive to send emails to him telling him how outrageous he was disallowing the military vote to be given a few extra days to get them in. They were having trouble for whatever reason and were behind schedule. I sent my dutiful letter and I got back a msg telling me I had no business in their state politics. LOL! Nice eh.

This mad dog Hussein has got to go. The military should get the best of everything since they put their lives on the line all the time.

He is a POS. All the threats he makes are wearing very thin with me.

      Pepp,

I meant to post this before. I remember the Rendell thing, he should have been ashamed playing politics with those who serve this country.(and the other Dems too) Of course what pols do I don’t really count as “serving”…ah, its more of a a smorgasbord for them.

But he tells Hispanics he’s “got their back so they should have his”. Also realize the teachers and every other union person he claims to fight for. He criticizes cuts to their benefits, which for public employees still comes from taxpayers. Those cuts, those people, those voting blocs, he claims he’ll “put on his marching shoes” and march with. But as commander in chief pulling this crap on vets and soldiers? Well….he should think about grabbing his running shoes, and make tracks.

So right, Bull. The Occupier better get his running shoes, but he runs like a girl. I don’t know how far he’d get.

Ed Rendell is a POS. He should very well have been ashamed of himself. It was despicable what he did.

Yeah, right Obama has all the backs of these “block” groups”. So they should “owe him” I guess.

Those union employees who had to take cuts still are making more than the average American who pays for their benefits. I don’t think we should have to pay for their bennies since we pay our own in private companies. Nobody pays for ours so why should we be sucked dry by them. Talk about feeling entitled!

        • bullright says:

I guess he figures military will just vote for him, cause…”well, he’s just a likeable guy”. I’m sure that matters a whole lot to them. Right, the entitled and they believe it. Never mind if cities and towns or states don’t have the money. How much of the stimulus was a payoff for them? All it did wsa kick the can down the road…oh and add to the deficit. Now they think soldiers aren’t paying their proper share. If Dems can’t buy votes, they’re done. But military obligations? Why is that at the top of his list for cuts?

A while back the traitor said the military should pay for their insurance since they volunteered and therefore knew what they were getting into. Didn,t every elected politician volunteer? That bimbo who demanded a GENERAL WHO WAS SERVING TO PROTECT HER SORRY ASS call her senator because she worked hard to be elected, NO-NO-NO, she begged for the job, LET ME SERVE THE COUNTRY JUST LIKE YOU, not Bull Right – BULL SHIT. When push comes to shove about our Defense Department I hope we have a General Steele who vets his inner circle accurately.

Bull! If this don’t tick off the retired vets or the active duty military nothing will. Zero is worse than slick Willi when it comes to disdain for our vets and fine active duty military.

    ‘oohRah! ;-)

    • bullright says:

Willi, thanks for the comment always. Yea and there isn’t an excuse big enough to fill his swelled head for it either. Hey George Washington knew what it was like to short the troops and he fought for them, not against them.

  4. bullright says:

Hey, maybe he should tell them “they aren’t paying their fair share”?

  5. clyde says:

Yep. Raise their fees. Must be he thinks THEY are the “rich” as well. THAT ought to help with the military votes. This sumbitch is loco.
