Clyde, I think I have the answer, it does not require binging him back. Have you seen all the man in the street interviews where the dumb are even dumber than we thought? Just inform them that Bush is still in office and watch their criticism roll live. (except they can distinctly remember voting for the bastard….) It would be a reality check for them though. And there might be an increased suicide rate following that.
To be honest; I’ve had my fill of the Bush family. I have great respect for them, because they respect our military and free market but they didn’t know how to balance a damn check book either.
I believe the problem is way beyond the media. You can lead a horse to water, but ya’ can’t make him drink. Everyone already knows what King Sumbitch is up to and they either care or don’t. Dave, well I sure do agree we can’t lay it all on the media, for the election that is. I don’t know what percentage blame they get. But then on the accountability part I really have to hold the drooling sysophant media responsible. I mean once they got their way, then at least treat him like something resembling any other president. It is their function. If not, then go to the islands and vacation with him, but don’t enable him to the point he counts on you like his Chicago Outfit staff.
As I wrote before, if Romney won we would see exactly the opposite from the media. They’d be rabid attack dogs and they’d probably have papers drawn up already. What Honeymoon? I was not a huge Bush defender either but they were gunning for him any way they could. Valerie Plame anyone? Then this guy gets love kisses over Benghazi and Libya. They want more unconstitutional action. Romney might be lucky because he didn’t recieve anything like he would have. They’d be calling for his resignation before he started..That media justifies it all is incredible.
Dave, hey I’d settle for Democrats bringing back just half of the pie charts and graphs they had attacking Bush to attack Obama with the same way. And media covered all that.
Bull, no doubt the radicals took over the media outlets years ago and it’s no surprise they stand up and scream at every Repuke, but put on their knee pads for the Demonrats. The billionaire, airhead radicals bought up all the media outlets and it’s a shame the billionaire Repukes didn’t have the same foresight. I guess the main point I’m trying to get across is the far majority of the mess we find ourselves in we can lay most of the blame on us. We’ve sat back and watched this come together for years slowly but surely, but now a lot of people act surprised. We made the bed we are now lying in by not being vigilant and aggressive enough. As my pop use to say, “Let someone use you as a rug just one time and they’ll use you like a carpet for the rest of your life”.
Dave, I agree with that, we have ourselves to blame in the end, and low information voters. That’s some good advice. Unfortunately, we haven’t had too many options lately (by design). Right, no one seems concerned to find out exactly why and who’s fault that is.
Bull, as far as I’m now concerned it’s us against them. Them being just about every damn politician in our country. F’ing FDR gotta this shit really rolling in high gear and it hasn’t stopped getting bigger since. About the only advantages I see as to having Repukes in charge; instead of the Alinsky’s are Repukes like low taxes for their rich buddies and we get cut in on that deal, Repukes respect our military and they basically leave our constitutional rights alone. But let us not forget it was Bush number two that approved spying on cell phone calls whenever they damn well please. Basically none of them give a rats ass about us or our constitution anymore.
