Romney to make VP announcment

So Romney will make his announcement at 8:45 am Saturday. All indications are it is Paul Ryan. If not there will be disappointment.

Clearly Mitt moved it up to hopefully impact the race. Sure, after all reports say the polls have dropped. He wants to boost the polls. Well, they will say it will fire up the base and Tea Partiers.

But, hello, the base is fired up and they’re mad as hell. Its Romney’s campaign that looks like it needs a match to be fired up. And maybe we can put an end to idiotic remarks coming from his chief talking heads. Its not Republicans or that base that are the problem.

    Bull,

So we all get to find out what boring person he chose as VP? Well, you’re right, its not us who NEED to get fired up, it is Romney himself. Funny you put this up because I just put up an article about how Romney needs to become a fighter or get the hell outta the race.

I am hoping it’s Rubio, but Romney will probably play it safe and pick Paul Ryan or any of the other white bread candidates he has on that oh, so hidden list. Gag! I’m not so sure Paul Ryan is going to fire up anyone. Sure he’s a good guy and all, but come on. He’s white cheese from Wisconsin.

LOL! At least Paul Ryan’s brain is not Swiss cheese, but more of a nice smokey Gouda. Ah, Ryan the Gouda Head. Paul Gouda. Gouda Ryan. Ryan the Gouda like a Buddha. Now you can tell I’m in the silly hour of the night. I’m becoming ridiculous.

That’s true. But he’s only a Congress critter. No experience running anything. But he’s supposedly good with budgets. But Rand Paul has a far superior budget to Paul Ryan’s. Rand can’t get dingy harry to put it on the table for a vote. Probably would not even pass the other Repukes. It’s too much common sense. Rand slashes whole agencies from the big azz Gubmint. Those guys just don’t want to see any of those worthless agencies cut. Rand would abolish the EPA, Depts. of Ed, HUD, Interior, Ag, IRS, and more I can’t name all off the top of my head.

I thought Santorum would have been good. He knows the Senate. But I didn’t think it likely and he may not be the right attack dog. I’m not sure Ryan is the best either.

I think Santorum would have been a better presidential candidate. He showed himself to be a real bulldog fighting and hanging in there almost to the end. At first I didn’t think he had what was needed but as the debates went on I found myself favoring him. One thing he said which really made me think of him seriously was when he said he would NEVER have signed the NDAA.

No I do not see Ryan as an attack dog. The VP pick should be the one who does the attacking so the presidential candidate can go ahead stumping on his policies. But, I can’t see Ryan being a Rottweiler. Ryan is more like a like a friendly little poodle.

Wasn’t familiar with Rand’s budget. I knew he had ideas. Maybe we could strap Harriet down and he can kick the truth into him. Imagine a prez running for reelection and never got a single budget passed? We need that Senate changed. Didn’t seem to be much push for Rand. But he’s a heck of a mouthpiece.

Yeah, Rand has a budget that would get us solvent in 5 to 6 years, a real serious budget and it wouldn’t ruin SS or Medicare. No, you don’t hear about Rand Paul’s ideas not with that corpse dingy harry around. He needs to go as majority speaker. He’s got way too much power. Every good idea Rand puts forth the king harry tables it telling Rand it will never see the light of day. Disgusting geezer.

Face it, any of us could probably be as up to speed on this administration as any of the picks are.

They are well on their way to destruction of us.
Gunny just posted that Paul Ryan will be the pick and he thinks that spells the end of the Fraud. I’m not too sure of that myself.

I just think, at this point in time, where Romney seems to be MIA and when he does say something back it’s so lame. So, I would prefer to see Rubio, who is a great orator from everything I’ve seen and he would really excite a bunch of people. Also the Hispanic vote would be interested, not all of course but maybe enough for Romney to win Florida.

I’d love to see Allen West as VP but I know that isn’t going to happen because for Romney that would be too bold. Sarah Palin always says she’d like to see Allen West. But the candidate has to allow the VP to do his/her thing and she was held back by the McCain campaign who wanted her to be nicey nicey. And look what that got us.

But it is up to Mitt, they said it was his to lose. Now he has to show that fire. No points for being nice. Its the biggest election and the biggest consequences of the century.

    bull,

My first choice was Rubio and my second was Ryan, so I’m pretty happy. Ryan is still a young man and he knows DC inside and out. I believe him to be a strong conservative that brings a lot to the ticket. Romney needed to pick a person to better attract conservatives and I think he did very well. Perfect timing right before the convention and Romney should get a boost by more conservatives jumping on this tickets band wagon.

Now; I hope Romney and Ryan get out there swinging with no gloves on. Romney’s got the cash and it’s time to let it start flying and ramming Obastard’s traitorous ways down his damn radical throat. Time to take off the office tie and get in the mud!

Dave, well said. I think Ryan can light a fire under Romney. I hear stories he has been intentionally reserved. (waiting for convention) Lets hope that changes. Their option is no option. But they should come out not making statements about running a clean and squeaky campaign. That talk doesn’t belong there.

Well,as I type this,Ryan is the pick. I’m OK with it,BUT,Romney STILL heads the ticket. Ryan has NO choice,he MUST grow a set, pronto. All this does is gear up the Chicago smear machine against Ryan. We ALL know what’s coming from THOSE mf’ers. Lies. Ryan had best get thick skin REAL fast,by noon, the first lies about Ryan WILL hit the air. Take that to the bank.

Clyde, you got that right. Romney needs to get the gloves off if he stands a chance. Obama wants to talk about anything but the truth. Earth to ryan, there ain’t nothing nice about Obama’s campaign. Right take it to the bank. Dems already say it was their choice. They have to put the liars on notice.

You are right. People don’t vote for the VP but for the main candidate. If Romney doesn’t get a set he can go home and pack this one in.

And yeah, the first lies have hit the airways already about Ryan. These guys better keep up. The Alinskyites are in overdrive.

Right away Obama spokesman Jim Messina came out to call Ryans budget plan “radical”. Can you believe these guys can even have the nerve to use that word? And the media is already turning on attack.

The president is the one who cut Medicare by 500 billion and his only answer is to slash defense into the last century and cut veterans benefits. A real great plan from the Party that puts the capital R in “Radical”.

Something has to change though. Dems have been running around actually saying the tax cuts caused the recession and gotten away with it. Talk about cause and effect. That has to change. They don’t get to just make it up.

I heard that too, that the attack is already underway and Ryan is a radical. Hello?????? The pot is calling the kettle black. Pardon the black pun.
These two guys are going to have to be on their toes fighting this Fraud and Liar. The Zero’s campaign is right on its’ toes at all times and don’t get caught without an answer.

Even with Ryan on the ticket now Romney still has to bust out and fight. No two ways about it. I hope Ryan is a good speaker. He seems so, so far, but it takes a lot to try to win against the Chitcago mob.

Pepp, there was a pun? LOL -haha. Yea, especially caught without an answer, when they have the whole media doing their dirty work and running interference for them. They repeat and it echoes through mediaville like the Grand Canyon. Politics is one thing but when you’re rinning against the Chicago mob its a different game. But right away do they have to say things about clean campaign and not demonizing anyone? Zero is a demon. Look at these guys, do they look like demonizers? On the other hand, look at the Alinsky underbosses. All people should have to do is compare pictures. One is America, the other _____.
