AP Fail: ‘Romney wants his risky pick to play it safe’

A week after being introduced as Mitt Romney’s VP running mate and Paul Ryan has taken the nation by storm, already reaching rock star status as he plays to overflow crowds.  Still, that doesn’t deter the lamestream media from trying to portray him as “risky” or “controversial” in their reporting.

All week we’ve been treated to an epic meltdown by the current Vice President, yet it’s Ryan who’s the risky candidate.

It’s absurd.    [ …/ ]

All the while MSN ignores  Obama’s 716 billion-dollar raid on Medicare. But they have their narrative, and they’re sticking to it.

    Good post bull.

I read this on WND the other day and thought WTH? Romney wants Ryan to play it safe and not talk about the Medicare solution in his budget proposal. News flash to Mitt; OBAMA WILL BE TALKING ABOUT IT! Sooo, again I ask WTH?

Ryan’s plan is pretty decent (I think it needs to be explained to everyone better) and Mitt should turn Ryan loose to fully explain it to everyone. It doesn’t effect anyone 55 and older; period. I’m pretty sure when Obastard clipped the Medicare vault for over $700M that effected everyone; especially those over 55. Mitt picked Ryan and Ryan is known as a budget guru, so why in the hell does he want him to play something safe he does so well? Perhaps, just perhaps Mitt is afraid too much of the limelight will end up on Ryan and not himself. Mitty really confused me on this one….

Dave, great comment. LMAO. No, Barry didn’t limit the age when he stole the 700 bln. I don’t think he can win a numbers game with Ryan, which is why they’re playing smear instead. I think this is the slant media is cranking out. Why he would, I dunno. I find it unlikely he said it. But then they are running on Romney not Ryan, maybe its about emphasis. Though media is all to quick to run with this slur, so I have a hard time believing it. (at least how they tell it.)

bull, thanks for the compliment. Ya’ know what they say, “Even a blind squirrel will stumble upon an acorn in the woods every now and then.” 🙂

Obastard and his media minions want to talk about ANYTHING, except jobs and the economy and Mitt/Ryan would do well to remember that.

Dave right. Its amazing there is so much related the economy to nail him on, just hope they don’t miss the chance to tie it all together. Energy too. There’s enough there for 3 knockouts.

  2. Bull, good blog, man.
I think the media’s slanted/filtered coverage is believed mostly by the unbudgeable people who will vote for Obama again. The independents and swing voters are beginning to finish making up their minds in the next few weeks. Voices like ours that are talking common sense without being inflammatory are going to prevail. I’m getting more confident each week. Keep it up.

Jeff, thanks for the comment, and compliment. Glad you stopped. The much ballyhooed swingers we keep hearing about, I wonder how many are really undecided, but I think most independents ought to swing our way… if they really are independent. I don’t believe there’s a 3rd option, survive or not. True about the common sense, we win there. The left seems more irrational than ever. If we listened to only their MSM we’d have thought it was a done deal. And we can hardly trust the polls, as desperate as they are about Ohio.

“Risky” is a euphemism for “bright, serious candidate who makes Biden look like even more of a joke.”
