Hillary’s Benghazi Blooper in the Land of Oz

Unpacking the baggage of Hillary’s “what difference does it make” statement.

“With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans! Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they’d go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and to prevent it from ever happening again.”

Remember Wizard of Oz? In Hilary’s world, what does it matter who is throwing the all-powerful voice of Oz from behind that curtain? Never mind that. She’d rather you concentrate only on what the voice says. Even though the voice we heard from the administration on Benghazi, from the beginning, was the phoniest thing since Islam called itself the ‘religion of peace’.

Hilary’s clever little detour has you ignoring the details of the incident while saying we have to make sure this never happens again. Oz had much more credibility than her. Who was not surprised to find the little man being the powerful voice of Oz? (admit it)

But in this case, it was so obvious that everyone was looking for the scheming persons responsible for this. While the culprits — or the voice overs — have been very busy hiding any indication of their sinister motives. The effects and credibility in Oz were better.

Yet she tells us to concentrate on what that voice says – not where(or who) it is coming from. It was ridiculous that she could make such an assertion, but look at her passion over Trayvon. Don’t tell people the truth, tell them what you want them to hear. The Emerald City is prettier.

All of her statements read like the script of a low budget “B” movie. You aren’t supposed to be the wiser and take them with all the sincerity she intended – not the insincerity she employs. She threw in the passion and drama to punctuate the lies that have been strewn about. Keep listening to that voice not what goes on behind the curtain.

That Oz-like voice is now telling us all these scandals are phony. But never mind all those phony statements about Benghazi. “Just listen to the voice”.

Hillary might want to tap her heels three times and say “there’s no place like the Oval Office”, but Benghazi will not go away that easily.
