REUTERS – Thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters marched in French cities on Saturday to condemn violence in Gaza, defying a ban imposed after demonstrators marched on two synagogues in Paris last weekend and clashed with riot police.

A Reuters photographer said demonstrators in northern Paris launched projectiles at riot police, who responded by firing teargas canisters and stun grenades.

“We must show that as Muslims, we’re all united” // Shirli Sitbon reports for Haaretz from Paris

Demonstrators also climbed on top of a building and burned an Israeli flag. At least one car was set on fire.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has contributed to growing tensions between France’s Muslim and Jewish populations, both of which are the largest in Europe.

In the first three months of 2014 more Jews left France for Israel than at any other time since the Jewish state was created in 1948, with many citing rising anti-Semitism as a factor.

Paris isn’t just for lovers anymore. One commenter dubbed it Paristan.I think that sums it up. How far from that is the US or other countries?

Bull, I don’t think we are far behind now. This is going to happen anywhere that these Muslims inhabit including here. I will never understand why we allowed Muslims to keep coming in here after 9/11. It just made no sense to me ever. Were we trying to prove we don’t discriminate? If so this is madness when you know who and what the enemies are.

Pepp, I don’t think we’re far behind. I saw your article on the same subject after I posted this. France might be bad but its in various forms here. When I see all the anti-Israel hate as I posted, it is in academia and all over liberalism. Anti-Semitism is so fashionable, and those Muzzies are taking it all in. Why we can keep tinkering with our own destruction, I don’t know.
Here was a good overview on the hatred running around the world.
It just hasn’t displayed itself as well here. But we do have Obama and Kerry doing their share on our behalf.

I read the article of the link you posted. I knew there was a lot of antisemitism going on in Europe, but not all of this which is frightening to me. “Gas the Jews”, how horrible!

It sure makes you think of Nazi Germany all over again.

The Emperor and Kerry are really doing their part to make matters worse for Israel. The State Dept calling for no planes to enter the Israel airport is a plan to hurt the economy of Israel, punishment for them. I’m sickened by all of this.

Pepp, right they sure are making things harder for Israel. Did you see the open mic reaction from Kerry? This is the impulse reactions from our government. That’s despicable. Oh but give terrorists another 45 million. The real outrage here is what Obama and his henchmen are doing.
