Hamas sets spy policy

Hamas began a policy of dealing with those it labels spies in Gaza. They began executing 18 of them on Friday after midday prayers. They lined them up behind the mosque and shot them.

A spokesperson of Hamas said this is how they are going to deal with suspected spies rather than in courts. He said the policy would be a strong deterrent to others.

As AP reported it was the “beginning of a new crackdown, under the rallying cry of “choking the necks of the collaborators.””

The actions followed an Israeli strike killing 3 senior Hamas military leaders.

So they are setting a deterrent now, are they? When the civilized — read humane — world now deals with terrorists, they should summarily establish stiff deterrents “in the field” as Hamas put it. They seem to believe in the idea of deterrents.

    Bull,
This is war – the RULES OF WAR are bullshit – I was taught to fight fair – the other son of a bitch wasn’t taught that or just didn’t give a damn – it was my last “FAIR” fight – I wound up in a wheel chair for over three years – now I understand – kill them before they kill you – do what you must to come home alive – it is better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6!

    Bull,

Good info. Now I want to know is who exactly are these so called spies. Are they people who have communicated with Israel on where Hamas leaders are. Or are they shooting those Palestinians who gathered together saying they don’t want Hamas running the country any further? Good grief, things just get worse all the time. I’m so glad Bibi is not backing down however.

Off the subject did you just see the press conference with Ben Rhodes? He made a statement that I don’t quite believe. He said ISIS has been operating in Iraq now for 10 years? If I recall Bush had pretty much decapitated AQ in Iraq and there was some peace there until King Barry pulled all our troops out to stabilize. I just thought it was a sneaky little comment and no one picked up on it.

Pepp, That’s a question, could be anyone. It seems Bibi has the right policy.

Well he admits they’ve been around for a while. Yea, it sounds like a nice way to try to slide it off Obama’s plate onto Bush’s. But I thought they were kind of evicted and set up shop in Syria. It also admits there were really terrorists in Iraq.

      Pepp,
Speaking of Ben, I saw this earlier: http://johnib.wordpress.com/2014/08/22/wh-advisor-ben-rhodes-isis-killing-foley-absolutely-a-terrorist-attack-on-u-s/

Right, he said the beheading was “absolutely” a terrorist attack. On Bengahazi he couldn’t find those words.

        Bull,

““Absolutely,” Rhodes answered. “When you see somebody killed in such a horrific way, that represents a terrorist attack. That represents a terrorist attack against our country and against an American citizen.” From that link you put up.

Oh, so now he recognizes a terrorist attack, but this time King Barry is not running for another term. So it’s OK to call it a terrorist attack. And from what I understand he’s the one who changed the talking points about Benghazi. What a POS!

I guess an ambassador burned to death and his body mutilated isn’t enough for a terrorist attack with Ben Rhodes.

Pepp, absolutely right, what a political hack. It’s really stunning that they can reverse themselves like that as if you don’t see it. Yet an ambassador no less that he was selling out. Politics rules. What an a-hole.
