Climate Change cluster-muck

Bernard Goldberg has written a stimulating column on the Papal pronouncements, albeit endorsement, of Global Warming and Climate Change.

He argues against the Pope getting involved in the politics. So has Jeb Bush insinuated he does not march to that tune. Here’s an excerpt of the column hoping others check it out.

Liberals will love that message too. But here comes the uh oh alert. This was also in the encyclical on global warming: “Since everything is interrelated, concern for the protection of nature is also incompatible with the justification of abortion. How can we genuinely teach the importance of concern for other vulnerable beings, however troublesome or inconvenient they may be, if we fail to protect a human embryo, even when its presence is uncomfortable and creates difficulties?”

I’m guessing liberals weren’t too happy with that part. But abortion is also a moral issue at the core of the church’s teaching. And so is gay marriage and to some extent, Bruce Jenner too.

No Bernard, right, he is not going to lose sleep that you aren’t buying the snake oil.

This may be marginally on thread…you know like Pope stick to his business and leave wood peckers their expertise.
With Bruce now transsexual and Dolezel transracial…brings up old saying from my childhood…something’s fishy. But keeping thoughts on land and out of Rome I asked about this old joke…
Two tall trees, a birch and a beech, are growing in the woods. A small tree begins to grow between them, and the beech says to the birch, “Is that a son of a beech or a son of a birch?”
The birch says he cannot tell. Just then a woodpecker lands on the sapling. The birch says, “Woodpecker, you are a tree expert. Can you tell if that is a son of a beech or a son of a birch?”
The woodpecker takes a taste of the small tree. He replies, “It is neither a son of a beech nor a son of a birch. It is, however, the best piece of ash I have ever put my pecker in.”

In my opinion the pope had no business adding his measly 2 cents to this fraud. The issue is political. The fraud is slowly being exposed for what it is. The science was based on fraudulent data and approved by 97% of the 3% that believe it is man made.

The pope, as a supposedly godly man, should know better that man isn’t powerful enough to affect the climate particularly since the climate has been changing for billions of years before man’s arrival. Further, the wizards of smart, that the pope surrounds himself with, have forgotten about the 500 year colonization of Greenland by the Vikings that ended 1000 years ago. Why did they leave Greenland? It was called the Medieval Ice Age. Morons!

The pope is attempting to dial into the social media culture and boost his popularity, particularly among the youth, and those that have already been brainwashed with this hoax. In the end he will look like a senile old fool.

He should stick to what he knows. As a Catholic, I am ashamed that we have such a doddering fool as the Vicar of Christ. In the meantime, Christians around the globe are being slaughtered like sheep by muslims and all the pope can mutter is a pitiful call for peace…. geeze.

I will give his PR guys a nod though… they leaked the encyclical and the left ate it up only to be betrayed by their own hypocrisy on learning the news when the pope included protection of the unborn in the official release. On the other hand, if the encyclical had been released without leaks the left would have ignored it without fanfare since abortion is their holy grail.

Lastly, I believe the pope to be a marxist who believes that prosperity should be shared equally to uplift the poor. While I believe in charity, true charity is teaching and supporting those so that they may support themselves and not by further making them slaves to the wealthy’s largess. The true root of poverty is energy poverty. The same energy that the pope rallies against.

Sorry for the rant. This pisses me off. The world is unravelling and all the leaders of the world can talk about is the weather.

Pepp, I know, but the idea that they are looking for such a great reaction on it makes me keep going back to it. If it weren’t for some of us I can see the left would be all over this as the best of both worlds. (pardon the pun) So it deserves some criticism I guess just to burst their huge climate change bubble.

Bull, yes it deserves criticism all right. I didn’t mean you shouldn’t. I just was out of words which is unusual for me. lol! I’m so sick of this Pope and his liberal attitudes. He doesn’t even seem to have bothered to examine the science. I don’t like that liberals can cling to anything he says. But how about that little thing called “abortion”?

I know how you feel, Pepp. After all the hype I’d like to see better stuff on his priority list. I still can’t get over their fascination with him. That is, until he mentions abortion then run for the hills. I get it, he’s using it for a recruitment tool but right, just don’t hit the left with any of that moral crap. So pandering like a pol works?

Bull, I guess as a Catholic I feel embarrassed by this Pope. And he’s not going to get any libs to join the church because of abortion and other tenets of the Catholics. So his pandering won’t get him one new Catholic.

I just get mad at him for the things he says.

I agree, Seems he’s turned into a flame thrower He is not the only one either. Funny that instead of using the issue, as they intend, they end up being used by the issue.

Bull I thought the article above was interesting and thought you might find it so too. I feel like the woman who wrote this as she says at the end of the article.
