Jeb on the ropes, attacks polls

Jeb Bush told a reporter that early polls don’t really matter.

Politico:

“These polls really don’t matter,” Bush said in an interview on “Fox News Sunday.” “They don’t filter out the people that aren’t going to vote. It’s just…an obsession, because it kind of frames the debate for people for that week.”

Let me translate: “they don’t filter out people that aren’t going to vote” — means polls are skewed by people who will not be voting. Why pay any attention to that, or those people? In typical elite-speak he stepped in the dodo.

He adds he expects his poll numbers — the ones he doesn’t care about — to rebound as he cranks up his ad campaign. Those TV ads that will influence the people who won’t vote.

Actually, the president caters to that crowd also. The ones that don’t vote. The ones that aren’t actually citizens. The ones that don’t support the country.

The ones that have high poll numbers love polls and the ones that don’t hate polls. The poll that really blew my mind was the CNN/ORC poll showing Carly jumping up so much. I’m no number guru, but that poll made absolutely no sense when looking at all relevant issues about the poll.

I bring up the CNN/ORC poll, because Jebbie does have a bit of a point here. Some polls just poll registered voters. Some polls do try to dig deeper into questioning likely voters. We all know (Lord how well we now know) not all folks registered actually vote. So I’ll give a bit of leeway there.

BUT, his ass sucks so badly in the polls it just doesn’t matter right now. Registered or likely to vote. When your numbers suck ass they just suck ass. Sorry Jebbie, but you’re just getting your ass handed to you.

Dave, those Carly pimping polls are ticking people off. It would be the same if they were pushing Jeb. (give them time, I’m sure they will get to that too)

That’s true, there are likely voters who won’t vote. You know Jeb isn’t exactly inspiring fence-sitting voters either. He does have a point with likely voters, we don’t know if they will.

LOL correct he’s just getting a beating, much of it brought on by himself not polls. He’ll have to search for plenty of excuses as time goes. Like the weather, angry voters, too many candidates, too much noise, bias, media etc. Jeb just has a problem, doesn’t he?. But nothing will change his last name or who he is.

You’re right Bull and Jebbie sure does have a problem. But he’ll never figure out what it is, because it’s his policies that suck!

Funny how all the candidates pay so much attention to polls that don’t matter.

Hilarious! You may not have written it to be funny, but it is. What he said is so stupid it’s unbelievable.

Yeah I heard him say “he’s in for the long run”. But his donors are restless and threatening him that if his numbers don’t go up soon it’s bye bye Jeb.
