Debate theatrics? Live or Memorex

I held off and thought about the last debate and let it soak in, but I just wanted to throw this out there.

Now I still wonder if maybe that performance by CNBC may have been planned that way? I mean it is sort of odd that it was supposed to be on the economy, which happens to be Republicans strong suit. Taxation and budget as well. I can almost hear someone say “we don’t want to make them look good.”

It was on the heels of the Benghazi hearing with Hillary. Paybacks you know. Then I wonder if they’d stoop that low to create an ordeal over it and have theatrics so they could blame it all on Republicans? Well, I never put anything past the Left or the media.

Would they think it through to consider hurting themselves and counting it worth it just to attack the Republicans? They still got the ad revenue, either way. Is it possible this thing was planned? Maybe not our whole reaction it got but in a way I am starting to think there was some premeditation there. No candidate in particular, but toward Republicans generally to set them back.

They knew there would be another NBC debate, and this could have been a setup for that? I can’t say for sure but it is a question I consider. A hit job or a mishap? Either one take your pick, same result.

NBC used CNBC just like a president uses the vice president. Sometimes the president lets the vice do the dirty hard hitting work, so the president doesn’t look as bad. I see the same here. NBC can keep a bit of decorum, while (IMO) being the ones that set loose the rabid dogs on the GOP’ers.

Maybe I’m an idiot, but I can’t stop thinking what the hell did the RNC/GOP’ers expect from CNBC? They’re barely a notch above MSNBC on the POS network meter. Moot point I guess.

Good piece Bull. I just personally see periods in your article where you placed question marks. But you are a bit more open minded than me. 🙂

Dave, probably not much difference there. Someone does the dirty work is all that matters. Obama’s got lots of servants for that. When do they miss an opportunity influence things?

What did they expect? Is there a naivete epidemic? Trust us. LOL You see periods. Okay,. Maybe it required the willing suspension of disbelief …

There’s an old saying down here ‘if you go into a snake pit, don’t get pissed if you get bit.’ That seems to apply here to me.

I am glad to see the campaigns taking on the RNC and showing some muscle. Rancid Priebus is so in the tank for the elites he’s as useless as tits on a boar hog for us conservatives.

It looked like a deliberate setup to me Bull. And like you said why would they care as long as they got their revenue out of it.

As liberals they don’t care what people think. In fact they figure in their own narcissistic world they’d be loved for doing a great hatchet job on the repubs.

It didn’t quite work that way for them though because even some libs were aghast at the theater and gave them a bad rep. They just outdid themselves and now probably lost some viewers over this.
