Twofer on election challenges

May as well just throw a couple articles out there. The first one is a dripping post from Red State railing against Trump as the nominee. If you have time and energy, I recommend seeing both of them. Who knows, you might enjoy.

As we are seeing unfold, people are imagining any means possible to deny or stop Trump. One Representative even said on a radio show that the only way to stop Donald Trump is a “head shot”. Well, desperation calls for desperate measures.

Now along comes the third party challenge. They believe they can Perot him. The second article (here) floats the idea of running or using Rick Perry to defeat Trump on a 3rd party challenge, even ending in a decision by the House of Representatives. I have a feeling the people would be really satisfied with that one.

I mean if the Chaos in Cleveland was not bad enough, why not open the general election decision to the House of Representatives to really calm people’s fears and restore confidence? We still haven’t lived down Bush vs. Gore. If they think that process would work, and Hillary wouldn’t find some way to benefit from it, then maybe they ought to take her and Democrats more seriously.

The media attention shifted its collective attention to Trump’s words that depriving him the nomination could potentially cause riots at the convention. How many times do people use such speech to serve a useful purpose? Not here. They are having fun spinning that one. While at the same time another Democrat front group is threatening mass protests and civil disobedience in DC. Nothing is wrong with that and no one seems at all concerned about what that will cause. Translation: riot to “save our Democracy” sounds like an interesting concept. Call it “Democracy Spring.”

Drop out and turn on. (Remember that was an old sixties cliche) Once again, people are threatening never trump and no way will they support him. Not voting would even be justified. Well, we were chastised that we had to support the last 2 establishment picks for president. Now their own righteous establishment position is “no way” will they vote for Trump. They point to how many people are unsatisfied with Trump as the nominee. Never mind how many people were not satisfied with McCain or Romney. But now the noble position is Never Trump. What hypocritical bastards.

Lastly, it looks like anything will be fundraising fodder, from Move On and the Left to the RNC estabos. And just blame Trump for the whole mess. Sound like a plan? Sort of puts them all on the same page.

  4. Excellent post Bull. Nothing like thwarting the will of the people! Running Perry is a joke. Twice he ran and failed. Who thinks voters will be attracted to him?

Oh yeah, letting Congress decide who we’re going to vote for is a farce. Since when did they dictate this? Things are so upside down. Do these people even understand they are supposed to work for us, not against us?

  5. OMG! I just read that article on Red State by Susan Wright and I was appalled. She needs to take a chill pill. If anyone has ruined our country it’s Obama. Where was she when he was voted in? Ha, fascist while we have a dictator sitting in the WH who is anti Christian, Muslim lover, American hating, cancer on our true America.

Her take on Rick Perry is ridiculous. He never even made it through the debates for bloody sake

Pepp, glad you appreciated it too. I was like wow, really?! The only word I could think of is dripping. I’m just not as used to seeing that from the right side but I guess we have to get used to it. They don’t seem to be mellowing. I chuckle at Perry being the answer to this. Common sense has left the arena.

      • Common sense has seemingly as left the right. Dripping or whining? Hysterical? I thought she sounded nuts. And surely doesn’t give a crap what we who support Trump care. Every time one of these media types write something this bad, they are also criticizing us.

But this type of thing is all over the media. They have all gone bonkers about the possibility of a Trump president

That’s the repulsive part, they blast away at the people who have decided. We’re fed up and had enough, already. But these people seem to want more of it. I’m seeing lectures on patience too. Patience, how quaint? How long have we been at this, waiting, praying, hoping?

          • Patience my butt! We’ve been patient for far too long. Why do these idiots think we’re angry as hell and don’t want to put up with the broken promises from these pols election after election. My patience is GONE!

You know what is novel? They keep pointing to the same people that “can win” that have not been able to win before — multiple times.
