Glenn Beck Calls for God to Punish America Over Trump

Loose cannon media personality and hard core Ted Cruz surrogate Glenn Beck is unraveling in the aftermath of Tuesday’s Indiana thumping. The mercurial Beck who last week called for a day of fasting so that God would help Cruz, is taking Donald Trump’s capture of the Republican party flag very hard. Beck’s visible mental decline accelerated when he told his audience that God needs to punish America for rejecting tricky Ted in favor of Trump, a man who while popular with the voters – democracy anyone? – doesn’t meet the standards of the country’s most visible Cruz-bot.
Breitbart News is reporting “Glenn Beck: America Is a ‘Petulant Child’ God Must Punish for Supporting Trump Over Cruz”:

Now I would be the first in a line to say we very well have some comeuppance due for our defiant ways in America. Remember abortion and go from there. However, something about Beck blaring it from the rooftops makes me question the messenger, over the message. Who bestowed the crown on this modern day prophet… at least he appears to think he is? It slightly reminds me of the slave girl in Acts running after the disciples.
Acts 16:
16One day as we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl with a spirit of clairvoyance, who earned a large income for her masters by fortune-telling. 17This girl followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation.”
18She continued this for many days. Eventually Paul grew so aggravated that he turned and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” And the spirit left her at that very moment.
I’m wondering about Beck’s intentions. Anyway, just curious what’s really driving it?
Beck needs some serious help Bull. $500,000 would have gotten him a lot of therapy and meds of which he needs both desperately,
Beck was Canadian Cruz’s prophet and now Beck thinks he speaks for God. What a frigging nut case.
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” Matthew 7:15

Well, Dave, you said it…rather someone else did. He needs a seat on the couch.(and his politics don’t seem to be any better)

Since Beck has a God like issue, he needs special help as Dave indicated. Since when does Beck have the right to ask God to condemn those who vote for Trump? God will not answer such a horrible prayer as he puts forth.
Praying for someone to be punished by God is unfathomable and depicts a very disturbed person. Get on some meds Beck and go to therapy. And you need to ask for God’s forgiveness for wanting to damn others because they don’t agree with you.

He has an issue there. I write off a lot of it as publicity ploys to be relevant. It is disturbing. If we are dependent on Cruz to stop God’s wrath on the country, then we are in trouble from the start. As I remember, Beck used to criticize this kind of thing — or the people suggesting it. But maybe I’m wrong. Everybody is supposed to listed to him. What’s he going to do next?

Beck used to condemn what he’s become. Right now I see him as gone off his rocker completely. Each time he makes news, he gets worse, just when you think he couldn’t get worse.
I doubt anyone is listening to him any longer as he is openly crazy now. Perhaps for his next trick, he will set himself on fire in the public square.

And he has a real dramatic flare about it. Pretty hard to take him seriously when he is acting like a clown in a storefront window.

He is acting like a clown all right and I don’t think anyone is paying any attention or taking serious what he says anymore. Most ppl are seeing for what he is, an idiot.
Besides that Beck is making things worse for Cruz. Since they aligned themselves together who’s going to take Cruz serious too.

I didn’t think he helped Cruz at all, like he was the entertainment or a sideshow.

No Bull, I don’t think Beck was a help but a hindrance to Cruz and made his campaign appear weird.

He was the king groupie. Cruz was using him and he was using Cruz to power up his base.
