That is POSITIVELY the best LETTER since Cocker…FANTASTIC, I almost didn’t listen but I did and was amazed. REALLY good…quite a singer!
Leon Russell was my number one fave musician (and I am one, so you know how many second faves I have!)…I had tickets to finally see him and could barely restrain the joyful anticipation only to find he died four weeks before the Dec 11 concert………I can still barely wrap my head around missing him by FOUR WEEKS….Can’t believe he’s gone and that I came THAT close to sitting practically under the stage at a supper club…that close to my idol. SOrry, Cocker reminded me of Leon…so any chance to TALK LEON and I take it. I’m so sad….
