Bernie on roll losing votes?

Townhall — Matt Vespa

You know, it’s hard to lose votes as a Democrat in San Francisco. It may be even harder to lose voters if you’re a self-identified democratic socialist. The Left coast is brimming with them. And yet, Sen. Bernie Sanders has managed to lose a voter in San Francisco for simply being a bad customer at a local restaurant. He was a miserable curmudgeon apparently. He was rude to the owner’s staff. That owner says he’s lost his vote. It may be just one vote,…/

Well, what do you expect? Ever met a real nice socialist or commie? That’s kind of their thing. He could be following Kirsten Gillibrand, who’s motto is “I’m not very polite!”

I’m back! Gawd, time away! Been more than a week, but following storm that long. Kid in Miami all clear, and now sis-in-law in Daytona. Whew!
It’s already started here in household. Year and a half out, got to vote for whoever is the one that issues least most dumb statements. 🙂

        That’d be fine.
Was in email contact with Cry and Howl for several years. That’s where I first found you. 🙂

Yeah, I miss his writings. Was good perspective. A lot of bloggers closed up shop.

Yep, not necessarily of their on accord. Grunpy elder passed and so did J.D. Longstreet. Wondering how Puma is doing? Not posting lately.
Well, as Governor Gloom (D-Colorado; Lamm) said us old ” have a duty to die”.
He still around at 84. 🙂

Wow, hadn’t known that about Grumpy. Longstreet was another surprise. Of course no one says anything, they just disappear. I had started speculating about the rapture at one point.

Well, of course internet blog friendships don’t always allow for knowing when such situations occur for one to get “disappeared”…from natural causes or otherwise. 🙂
Texas Fred informed me about J.D. in summer of ’16, before Texas Fred was hit by a tornado and eventually retired from blogging.
Another who passed fairly recently was ‘Dan Miller in Panama’. Had his blog and wrote @ warsclerotic.com
Those are the only ones that I know are deceased. Of course as you said many closed up shop for whatever reason…exhaustion and other.
High respect for those who keep it up. Right Ring, NEO (Nebraska Energy Observer), Mark America (mostly Twitter now, but some blogging still), Bunkerville (retired lady now in southwestern PA, I think). Bunker retired to FL and got hit by Hurricane Irma so then went back to PA.

I think the other reason was the newer social media everyone is on and maybe blogs are old school now. TMI for some people.

Gentlemen! I just got a most welcomed phone call from ‘the unit!’ I’m delighted you guys are doing okay and are still holding fast the ‘faith!’ Denise is doing okay I believe. I ‘talked’ with her a couple months ago on Twitter and visited Pumabydesign a while back. I just started blogging again under the same ol’ Cry and Howl banner, though I haven’t really written a lot and most folks don’t even know it. Vanessa (Chicago) still visits and comments though many of the folks from 10 years back and more aren’t active any more. Anyway, it was great to talk with the unit again, and to see Bullright is still getting after it! Take care folks!

Thanks. But sorry to hear that and at that age. The unexpected has to be the hardest.Yet nothing we can do but hold fast to their memory.

BTW don’t know if you know the place, but over at Gates of Vienna he had one of those losses you were talking about too. She was a big part of that blog. Baron is keeping it going though.

Had not visited there. Have seen it linked at some sites. Just did take a look.
Having attained my college degree in chemistry, I understand the scientific meaning of phobic and philic, like associatedwith hydro-.
I certainly ain’t philic associated with islamo-.
Mind you, the awarding of that degree was 54 years ago. 🙂

LOL some dumb people who can’t make those distinctions today, And they like to run things. Europe has a problem. We’re not far behind. They are a good source for what’s ‘going on.’
