My two small apple trees are spitting out apples already. That’s a good thing and good year from my view. No sprays or cides or anything, just nature doing what it does.
Now I just hope the deer don’t get them all this year. But that is usually the way it works: groundhogs try to get any low-lying vegetation and the deer get the upper tier.
You feel like the sap in the middle getting squeezed. There must be a metaphor there?
I’m only worried about the apples getting completely ripe before they start disappearing.
But the deer are hustlers.
