God Bless America …
On that day,
the day of memorial.
We know what this day is and what it means. But there is another side.
For me, for years, it is also a day of confrontation of what is wrong and evil which threatens us. Whether that be directly or indirectly; whether physically or by agenda. Within that realm is a lot to consider today, once all remembrances are done and respected.
At the nation’s Capitol on 9/11, Nancy Pelosi pulled off another stunt. (a poor attempt at one) She and her comrades came down the steps of the Capitol, supposedly in some reverence and symbolism, while carrying little American Flags in their hands. Someone led the singing of God Bless America. They had a moment of silence in remembrance and then turned, retreating back up the steps they descended.
Sure was a lot of symbolism there, wasn’t it? That’s all it was. But actually all those symbols Democrats are directly at odds and war with: the American Flag, unity, respect for our country, American-exceptionalism and our history.
Also, how could you try to appear to be all that while fully-engaged in sedition?
Yet there they were in stark contrast to all they really stand against – or what they stand for. Another repulsive skit in an election year, like everything else they do. But Pelosi has no shame and proved herself the queen of hypocrisy.
Well of course God Bless America would sound better than God d__ America, as Rev Wright put it. But why the lie? You figure it out.
Let’s also remember that NY and Mayor De Blasio decided to forgo most of the 9/11 ceremony and traditional reading of names weeks ago. But Frank Siller’s foundation, Tunnels To Towers, stepped in to say they would pay for and do it. So they did.
The COVID virus is too dangerous and apparently the ceremony too hazardous for Gov Cuomo and Mayor DeBlasio. Yet tens of thousands of protestors who march or roam the streets are no problem in a pandemic. Shows what priorities Democrats, progressives have.
…”the land that I love.” Say that Demonrat progressives.
