America On The Ropes

What is America’s future? That is a question that has riddled us for 100’s of years. America has answered that not by theorizing but in real actions. Because, after all, actions determine our future not political theories. Our future is not based on economic theory but on real time results. But there are consequences for poor actions as well.

Partly what drives this country is our world view and values as lived through our actions. No one can tell us our values are not real. We see them through history. We always hope, or often expect, that good will always win out over evil. Yet that takes effort.

Time and again we have risen to the challenges we face with determination.

So why has America become so polarized? Some will say we have always been. Some will say it is those very challenges that unite us. An example would be 911. We even distinguish between pre and post 911 realities.

Throughout the last 20 years, we have heard a lot of talk about pre vs. post 911 attitudes. It is true. We cannot afford the luxury of systemic denial.

However, I would take it a step further. A good place to start is pre-WWII mentality verses the post-WWII mentality. I see our distinction today being just as serious and just that flawed as it was then.

We’ve had leaders, too, who have risen to challenges. The last we remember was Ronald Reagan. While on the left, they idealize FDR as a hero. So today the contrast is as great as between Reagan and FDR. We cannot live in a pre-World War II mindset. In the end, that kind of denial did not succeed.

Among the Left today, they never take into account the obvious consequences of their agenda. No one fires a shot as America dismantles its defenses and status right in front of our eyes, and our enemies’. But they don’t take into account what that means in a world of rivaling evil engaged in a turf war.

They don’t consider the future that will form in a vacuum.

Do we never assume that one day an alliance of evil will mount all its forces against us? Do we never factor in our contribution to this alliance? Does anyone on the left still care? Do they think that they can have their own reality, unaffected by the world’s influences?

But all that is why Reagan and much of American people believe in peace through strength. Peace doesn’t seem to come from weakness. While that strength seems offensive to some people, it is what stands between us and decline of the west. To the left that decline is an acceptable sacrifice. It is welcomed as one of the consequences they wish to ignore.

The problem is evil does not work this way It is not content to sit in a stagnant state. It is bound to increase and get worse through less and less resistance. Appeasement to it is not the answer. One could think it all spiritual but it is also real. We see the consequences. Our children and grandchildren live with the effects of our actions. It is a huge responsibility.

On the left, responsibility has been abolished. They believe you can have the world you perceive simply by that belief, and nothing was more evident of this than the Obama-Biden years. Damn the facts and reality, simply click your heels three times and believe it is so… and voila, it will be. But the rest of the world does not operate that way. It will not accommodate the Leftists’ beliefs no matter how radical or rational they are.

We are now at that great pivotal point, after Trump was shoved aside. They’ve already cast their lots on the side of that evil. Trump himself said of the country: “there is a point at which it cannot be turned back, and we can never allow that point to be reached.”

But the left wants to make it impossible for us to turn it back. That is their huge goal. So how do you face the enemy within hell-bent against us? May God Bless America.
