The Real Threats to Our Democracy

Conrad Black, after venting at Peggy Noonan for her felonious attack on conservatives, gives a rich description of the 2020 election problems.

While Noonan dismisses the election results but can’t condemn Republicans enough for Jan. 6th, she parrots the Left’s talking points so well she sounds like any Democrat.

The Real Threats to Our Democracy

Electoral shenanigans and the abdication of judicial responsibility are the real threats to our democracy. Let the audits proceed.
Conrad Black — June 14, 2021

In the Wall Street Journal of June 10, Peggy Noonan captured the kernel of the crisis of national division that afflicts America: Donald Trump and opposed perceptions of last year’s presidential election. Equitable person though Noonan is, she qualifies as a Trump-hater, whose invective against Trump has only escalated over time.

Noonan’s premise today is that any question about the 2016 presidential election is unfounded conspiracism, but that suspicion is growing, spread by “the Trump underworld—the operatives, grifters, and media figures around him . . . This lessens our faith in our systems . . . it leaves the GOP with an untreated cancer.” She holds that “QAnon is important” in propagating this fraud. She thinks that anyone who wasn’t appalled by the storming of the Capitol on January 6 has given up on democracy. Lingering concern about the fairness of the result is in itself an assault upon democracy. “The breaching of the Capitol happened because of a conspiracy theory: that the election was actually won by Mr. Trump but stolen from him by bad people.”

She makes no allowance for exactly the opposite view: that there is ample evidence that Trump was sandbagged in rigged voting and vote-counting in only six states, stonewalled by the courts, and defamed by a unanimous national political media: the courts couldn’t face overturning the election, and the media can’t accept the idea that it was a tainted election. I agree with her that “the only thing that can stop” (the cancer that supposedly afflicts the GOP, even if it is in fact benign righteousness) “is true facts independently developed and presented with respect and receipts.”

This is correct but the analysis of the causes of the current dangerous division in the country’s political life must start—not with the invasion of the Capitol, which has already been investigated and yields nothing damaging to Trump—but with a serious analysis of the election results in six states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The election went off without a hint of a problem in 44 states. In the six states named there were changes to voting and vote-counting rules adopted supposedly to respond to the difficulties imposed by the pandemic and often in constitutionally questionable ways.

In addition to a large number of specific complaints by individual voters about the treatment of their own votes, there were 18 direct challenges to the constitutionality and integrity of the electoral process in those six states plus the case of the attorney general of Texas supported by 18 other states accusing the swing states of violating their constitutional pledge to assure fair presidential elections on such a scale that the result of the election was tainted. The judicial system declined to hear any of these cases for process reasons. It simply won’t do for the Noonan-unanimous media stonewall to say that Trump’s complaints were just sour grapes, examined and dismissed by impartial justice. Peggy Noonan knows better than I do about hundreds of thousands of votes arriving with lopsided Biden majorities in the middle of the night at Mark Zuckerberg’s drop boxes in Pennsylvania that were then immediately mixed with other ballots with no possibility of verification.

She knows that the Boland v. Raffensperger case over why the ballot rejection rate dropped in Georgia by 90 percent from 2018 wasn’t judged but was rejected because the party sued arguing that the Georgia Secretary of State was “an improper party.” The corresponding case in Michigan, Donald J. Trump For President Inc. v. Benson, alleging violations of state law by the failure to allow access by observers was not heard because it was only filed at 4 p.m. on November 4.

All America saw the videos of vote counters clapping as Republican observers were evicted and plywood was placed over the windows. The judge ruled Michigan’s secretary of state had no responsibility for monitoring drop boxes despite a recently adopted law requiring such surveillance. In Pennsylvania, Metcalfe v. Wolf alleged that anywhere from 144,000 to 288,000 completed mailed-in or absentee ballots may have been illegal based on testimony from a U.S. Postal Service contractor. The judge declined to hear the case because such a request was required to be filed within 20 days of the alleged violation (although, in fact, it appears to have made that deadline).

In Wisconsin, Trump v. Evers alleged extensive violations of state election laws including the issuance of a large number of absentee ballots without written applications, unauthorized filling-in of ballots by municipal clerks, lack of verification of the authenticity of large numbers of absentee ballots. Yet the Wisconsin Supreme Court in a divided decision found that the suit had to begin at the lowest course and proceed upwards, a material impossibility in the short deadlines allowed…../

Nation Under Seige: A Nation Divided

Democracy was the buzzword 1/20/2021. As if that alone could calm the seas of unrest.

That is the number one talking point for media. Did they worry about democracy in 2016?

If anything shows the real condition of America, it was the contrast between Inauguration Day four years ago and today’s ceremony. There could not be two more polar opposites.

Four years ago they presented the image of mass protests, complete with grief counselors to nurse deniers through. Today it was a jubilant celebration. Everything was pitch perfect; nothing was amiss or awry. Their fairy tale world was full of wonder and awe.

The peaceful transfer of power with 26 thousand troops in the streets. A powerful visual.

America is and always will be One Nation Under God. But we must always resist the state of a nation under siege. Let all those be confused and obstructed who would render this country to the dustbin of history. Let their attempts be foiled at every turn.

But now starts another story for the record of history. The third-term for one Barack Obama. There can be no doubt about it. He has been lurking and waiting in DC.

How is it the Left can always accuse the right of trying to overturn elections when they spent four miserable years trying to undo the last one? Then they changed every election rule in the book, and broke nearly every one, to get the results that brought us today.

Was it worth it? Is that a fair price to pay for political power?

Democrats disingenuously sprinkle the notions of unity but by every measurable factor, we are a nation divided. It is sort of like a tied football game where one side opposes overtime and denies that the score is even close.

The Senate is exactly split. The House of Representatives is the closest split it has been in 50 years. That is no mandate. Four years of Leftist disunity brought us here. Do not blather about working together now.

Divisive

After engaging in a four-year coup against the will of the people, leading to their cancel culture program, do not now lecture us about the “politics of a raging fire.”

Having half the country under siege is exacerbating the politics of rage. Those fires we’ve seen in the country were a product of politics of rage. Rioting was their weapon of choice.

A few more words but not mine. They are the inauguration rhetoric. Phrases which, at this time, I cannot call well-intended.

Klobuchar

Will of the people; guardians of democracy; sacred trust; weapons of political arson; hope for justice.

Roy Blunt: “Determined democracy” — oh, is that what you call it?

Biden:

“Triumph of a cause- democracy; resilience of the Constitution; restless, bold, optimistic; seek a more perfect union; winter of peril; cry from the planet itself; restore the soul; my whole soul is in it; fight the foes we face; history, faith, reason; no peace without unity; crisis in challenge; politics of a raging fire; lies told for profit; time of testing; significant opportunity.”

Rev. of the AME Church: “Neither shall we learn hatred anymore.”

Biden said “we have much to do in this winter of peril and significant opportunity.

And for Heaven’s sake, stop calling the pandemic a crisis. Call it what you believe it is, an “opportunity.” Hundreds of thousands of deaths were only opportunities to the left.

So from now on, how about calling it the “opportunity virus,” which quid-pro Joe is not done extorting yet for everything he can get. Half the nation is already under siege.

We are a divided nation. The dividers are in charge. End the siege.

Nothing conveys peace quite like 26,000 troops and razor wire. Kumbaya

Meaning Of Election Results

Here is a sort of philosophical question. Do elections mean different things to different sides of the isle? (I’ll use the customary ‘political isle’ though it is more like a canyon)

More precisely, do results of an election mean different things to different sides? I have to say yes. I already explored winning in the past – – each side claiming different meanings. But there are differences between sides in losing as well.

Neither side does losing very well. No one likes to lose. However, when the game is rigged it turns so-called “losing” into a philosophical game of concession. Make one admit loss.

In the case of this election, with fixed parameters in a rigged process, the idea of concession to a fixed game seems entirely pointless and out of the question. What does it mean then? It boils down to someone cheating another person out of an outcome. I think we have already established that happened. So what does that do for the concept of losing?

Well, besides hanging the world’s biggest asterisk over this election, it establishes doubt the results were really legit. But then nothing with Donald Trump’s presidency has been fair from the beginning. So why expect it now? I don’t think people did.

That frames a change in presidents in a whole new light. Put it another way, Democrats were not happy enough with a rigged election, but they want legitimacy. They also want to prevent Trump or anyone else from even contesting it. Prevent that and the whole process becomes a default selection, not a real election.

Now we come back to what is the meaning of election results if they were skewed, distorted, corrupted and then sanctioned by every authority as legitimate? What is that value? Well, it means the bar of “legitimacy” or legitimate just got a whole lot lower.

So are results of a corrupt election even important under those conditions? Everyone can make his or her own judgment on that. Mine is results really don’t matter. And no one can put legitimacy of the process back into the equation because it is done.

Then, the results turn into a stain. I guess that is where it ends. They are no longer legitimate results but a stain on our history. It makes the president presiding over that stain nothing more, and no more legitimate.

On the other side, they pretend the results were Constitutionally legit. They pretend some authority exists in that. So what they wanted from election results was an uncontested forfeiture to a flawed process. Absent that, they can only make assertions. Pretending is an art that works rather well for the Left.

So we have two different election results, not just interpretations of results, between two different sides. It means two sides have two entirely different meanings for results. Never the two shall meet.

The Left is particularly adept in spinning results of things. This time it is much more than simply spinning them. But they cannot put legitimacy back into the results.

2020 In The Rearview

In the last week of the year, I thought it would be good to do a post on 2020 but I couldn’t do it. That is above my grade. It would take a 750 page tome just to outline the events of this year in any detail.

2020 was an indictment on our culture, the establishment, the Left. It was a complete assault on values and western society. I’ll take a pass on that. In fact, the cottage industry in 2021 will be books about what happened in 2020, and not just about the election. But it will probably inspire some books, too.

So what to do about 2020 but give it a big old middle finger? Maybe a Bronx cheer salute from sea to shining sea. A giant sigh.

Assembling those thoughts on it, my instinctive reaction was to get on my knees and plead for it to be over, never happen again, that we recover and learn what we need to to do that.

Above all, pray that it be over. Finished. Then the taps would be in order rather than playing “Auld Lang Syne”. That song literally means “for the sake of old times.” 2020 was a blitzkrieg on the old times. Here are the lyrics:

“Should Old Acquaintance be forgot,
and never thought upon;
The flames of Love extinguished,
and fully past and gone:
Is thy sweet Heart now grown so cold,
that loving Breast of thine;
That thou canst never once reflect
On old long syne.”

It doesn’t quite work. Maybe those words are an appropriate tribute in any other year except this one. The taps with no lyrics serves it much better.

What did we learn; what were the important events; where are the benefits; or what was the overall theme? Too soon? There are days still left. Did anyone get mad at a year?

If cancel culture had any legitimacy or backbone, it would cancel 2020. But no, it tried to use the events of the year to cancel other things or people. Think of them all: from heroes to founders, to everyday Americans, to America itself, to news stories and corruption, to a great president. Cancel culture was literally screaming through a pandemic.

The only thing they didn’t try canceling was China, the place that spawned the pandemic.

And politics were in full display, oh were they. We found some events or situations that even politics, politicization of events or weaponization had no answer for. But they tried.

Finish 2020 off by 2 Senate runoffs in Georgia — which could determine the majority in the US Senate — by radical, commie, Marxist candidates. What could go wrong with that?

Is there no mercy left?

As bad as the year has been, whistling past the graveyard would do us no justice. We must make sure this year does not contaminate others. We must vow to repair the damage, not to continue it.

The strange thing is I get a sick feeling the Democrat left is not as disgusted by the year as the rest of us are. After all, in crises they see opportunities. The greater the crisis, the more people hurt, the greater the opportunity. It’s their motto.

Still one thought does remain about all those who did not see the end of the year, maybe for different reasons. Hundreds of thousands, like nursing home residents, did not make it through. Not even receiving a proper farewell. Enough said.

Play the taps. (Yet it will be remembered, in infamy)

How Much Fraud Is Enough?

The Senate held hearings on the 2020 election with the underlying premise whether all the fraud and problems could have affected the outcome of the election?

Or to rephrase my question, how much fraud is too much?

The thrust of this is: only if the apparent fraud would have made a difference in the outcome is it a real problem. If not, it does not matter. So Democrats assert it was not too much fraud for their tolerance. Have some confidence in that? I don’t think so.

To make matters worse, you have two different sides saying two completely different things. On one side you have people claiming this was the most fair and secure election in history. On the other, people are saying it is the most fraud-plagued election with serious Constitutional issues ever. Of course both cannot be right.

The former assumption is so far off, no one could reasonably believe that.

Actually, to deny fraud took place is conspicuous enough. But to claim the election was fraud-free and perfect is so far from any rational logic and wreaks with deception.

Why do Democrats have to recoil back to the position that no fraud existed at all? Chuck Schumer now even dubs it our wonderful democracy. Schumer on the Senate Floor:

“When is this nonsense, so detrimental to our democracy, going to end? When? It’s already deeply irresponsible for my Republican colleagues, many of them, to stay silent about President Trump’s deliberate attempts to poison Americans’ faith in our elections.” /… [faith in elections??]

“So in conclusion, Chairman Johnson should call off this ridiculous charade of a Senate hearing, immediately. And if he won’t, Leader McConnell should intervene to ensure that the Committee does not indulge such quackery and conspiracy theories. And he should acknowledge the results of the elections and make clear it’s time to move on, just as he was happy to do so when the shoe was on the other foot. Doing otherwise will add fuel to the fire that is undermining faith in our wonderful democracy.

For four years they were not calling it wonderful or anything except at risk, insecure and in jeopardy. Now it is a paragon of legitimacy — not a shred of suspicion or criminality.

Our wonderful democracy“….after four years of attacking it at the core.

It is so disingenuous to deny the problems and fraud. So then Dems fall back on their other excuse that nothing shows the outcome would be different. Yet that is all around us.

Why should the qualifier of fraud be whether it was enough or not enough to change their results? The problems abound. Shouldn’t chronic fraud and problems be enough?

But how much fraud is enough is absolutely the wrong basis for election integrity, or our confidence in it. I’m not confident that America has a tolerance for election fraud.

Hypocrisy Takes 2020 By Storm

Back early in the year, I declared this year would be the year of hypocrisy. Well, that may not be that big of a prediction. But I didn’t know what was going to happen, it was simply based on the trajectory of politics at the time. You could read those posts here and here.

Remember we were having the impeachment over a phone call and quid pro-quo Joe was only a glimmer on the political stage. But he had a quid pro-quo with Ukraine and boasted about it. Since then, it has been worse than anything I could have thought.

Hypocrisy is everywhere, from the gov in California to the Speaker of the House, to the results of the 2020 election. So hypocrisy reigned supreme in everything. It seems a safe bet in most any year to call it a year of hypocrisy. In September, I revised the prediction to the year of multi-tasking. That is sort of self-explanatory. Indeed the people were doing more than one thing and juggling many things at once. That was true too.

But then hypocrisy busted through the finish line with ease. Of course this is all only my opinion – as they say those can vary. The sheer hypocrisy this year should be evident.

Impeachment of a president when they themselves should have been impeached. With everything we found out, there was no way to hide all they had done to Trump or to the people. But here they were only impeaching a president they claimed was never legitimate anyway. And actually it was Joe Biden who had done exactly what they were accusing Trump of doing. Then came Nancy Pelosi devoutly tearing up the President’s speech in front of us. Supposedly denying his legitimacy. Though her credibility was shredded.

Yet at the very time they were doing this, a pandemic from hell was bearing down on the US. They poo-poohed it as a real threat. Pelosi and Health Dept officials in NY both took to public pronouncements that COVID was defacto DOA – dead on arrival — in the US.

Months later they switched rhetoric to the president was not doing enough to prevent it. Then they started the gloomy prognosticating on how bad it was, while blaming Trump. Incidentally, has anyone seen another country blame its leader for COVID_19?

There was also the Cuomo version of events. First he denied COVID was a problem outside a normal flu. Then he blamed Trump for everything as he himself enacted orders to send COVID into nursing homes. He went from blaming Trump to then arguing that the virus did not come from China, but from Europe. Anyone watching him give his daily briefings was curious what new thing he would say each day to contradict himself.

Cuomo refused to stop travel from NYC at the hiight of the virus, yet later on would swing to blocking people from coming to NYC. He demanded new hospitals be erected, including putting a ship in the harbor, but he never used them.

And of course one has to add that meanwhile dealing with the pandemic, Cuomo was writing a book on how well he dealt with the pandemic. But it should be called the definitive book of hypocrisy, by the defining hypocrite of the era.

On and on it has gone. Yes, hypocrisy is putting in a very strong finish to the year.

Before, election Democrats railed about post offices being a den of conspiracy against a fair election. They singled out the Post Master General. After election, what problems?
Democrats had scrutinized Dominion and its software as a threat to democracy. Now, what problem? Democrats said the only hope to end the virus was a vaccine. Now, on approval, it is not the be all end all. Maybe it should wait for Biden?

Then of course Democrat lawmakers issued their lockdown procedures, sometimes just before going out to violate the orders themselves. Then they feigned apologies that they are sorry. But are they? Austin’s mayor broadcasted lockdown orders from Mexico.

First they told us masks were unnecessary and even put you at risk. Now they demand you wear them. Vaccine was the bomb until it came out, then Democrats said they would refuse to take accept it because it came out under Trump.

They kept big box stores open but smaller businesses had to be shut or they pulled their business license. But they decided liquor stores could be essential businesses.

What they deemed essential or non-essential was entirely subjective. Then they said science was king, but none of the economy shutdown was science at all.

And let us not forget the Hydroxychloroquine fiasco. Usage of it was blocked. They said it could kill you. They managed to ban a cheap drug with promising, effective results. Then they called us conspiracy theorists.

The FDA said (6/15/20): “the known and potential benefits of CQ and HCQ no longer outweigh the known and potential risks for the authorized use.”

Of course one of the worst things was politicizing a pandemic that does not respect any politics. They told us the rights to protest were paramount over any lockdown restrictions. Millions of people marched in the streets while churches had to remain closed on orders from the state. Violators were heavily fined, even jailed. Meanwhile they set ‘no bail’ legislation for criminals, essentially turning them loose after arrest.

Violence even superseded any health restrictions. “Mostly peaceful protests” became a euphemism for riots, violence and looting for the year.

Police shootings or attacks were frequently ignored as individual incidents of police misconduct were panned across the country, 24/7. Abc said “police officers killed surge 28%” in 2020, “and some point to civil unrest and those looking to exploit it.”

And the answer for this phenomena and numbers of police attacks? Wait for it… abolish or defund the police. Some areas acted on these hypocritical demands to cut police funding.

But later on, Democrats claimed they did not want to defund the police as we said they did. They invented the term re-imagine police. They claimed Dems did not call for “defunding.”

Democrats said Donald J Trump was out to steal the election, then they proceeded to have the worst fraud-plagued election in history. All justified of course. Then they called it the smoothest election in modern history.

They even argued that fraud may have been present but it was not enough to change the results of the election. Excuse me, but that was the entire purpose for it. Enough?

Democrats wanted to employ the 25th amendment against Trump claiming he was not psychologically fit or capable of holding the office. But then along came Joe Biden, who they claimed would be the most competent president for America, excellently qualified.

Indeed Democrats spent four long, miserable years claiming Trump was illegitimate and that the election was rigged in favor of Trump. Then they proceeded to create the most rigged election in history from rule changes right through Election Day. But nothing to see here, people, it was a superb election. We were called conspiracists.

So now the candidate who did not campaign, staying in his basement bunker, happened to get more votes than any presidential candidate in history? 13 million more than Obama.

They claimed Antifa was not a threat, and Joe Biden declared it an idea – not an actual organization of terror and crime. So Pelosi said Trump and Republicans were “enemies of the state”  by scaring people from voting. Then the press ignored her outrageous claim  after they complained that Trump labeled press/media enemies of the people.

Let’s remember that Pelosi declined a 1.8 trillion dollar aid package offer. Then she accepted a 900 billion dollar package calling it a success because now we have a new president. She told a reporter that the earlier negotiation was not a failure, on her part, but is why they got here. So getting a new president was her real objective? Pelosi got a professional blowout in a closed salon, then said she was set up by the owner.

Yes, after years of not accepting Hillary’s failure, media demands Trump accept the fraud election. Then they have the nerve to say that no time in history was there ever a president and election labeled illegitimate. (David Gergen fielded that whopper on CNN)

But just add another that Democrats wanted the entire economy to be shut down by executive action. Then they claimed that Trump ruined the economy. They demanded presidential action, then they claimed states rights. But later they claimed Trump failed to issue a federal mandate. Cuomo threatened a federal mandate would incite civil war.

There was so much more that could be said about this stellar year of hypocrisy.

Dear Diary

[0600] Sorry, I haven’t written in some time. Well, it’s been so hectic and all. There has been a lack any good news, since I know you’d much rather hear good news. It’s just there hasn’t been any. Remember we always say ‘regnad’ for warning….

And it may be a while till I write again as work camps are going to start up in a few months. That’s how they’ll be rounding people up by communications. You know their capabilities on that. (NSC) Surveillance-R-US.

Oh, we are in a pandemic too. Remember how we always debated about that before? We finally have one. And wow are they politicizing it every way to Sunday.

In fact, the left even had a campaign election all based on the pandemic and politics of it. Upstaged a pandemic, believe that? Can you guess how that ended? Well, even a pandemic could not keep them from rigging an election. So perception is reality to radicals. Anyway, they got their wish, they worked hard enough at it.

Funny how for four years all we heard about is attacks on our democracy and tainted election results. I’ll be damned, they finally found a way to have the same troll bots they bitch about on social media vote in elections. Not a great situation now.

Even though the prez got 12 million more votes than the last time, no dice, not enough to outnumber the bots and fraud. Those Russians would laugh at that . These radicals are almost better at running a narrative on the public than Russians. People hear the shit and don’t know what to think. They know how to muddy up the water.

Word is the same law firm for Hillary’s campaign, Pukin, is now defending this sham election. Guess they’re out of the dossier business for now. Probably contracting for Deep State too.

You know how the Left always controlled the media complex. Media consolidated with the Big tech and left too. What a merger spawned in hell. Anyway that has been the worst part, hearing all the lies propagated all the time. I got their climate change right here. And their ignorance techniques at corruption are stunning.

Soon you won’t be able to believe a damn word in the airwaves unless it comes out of a Resistance patch line. Few of them still around.

Surprise, no interest in looking at all that happened in the extended election. All smooth as silk, they say. For who? Don’t make be laugh. From the Susquehanna to the Monongahela in PA they finally know the truth, but it seems not a damn thing they can do about. Russians had nothing on this pack of rabid commies.

All this was entirely predictable though. Forewarnings were everywhere. We knew what they’d do. Trump kept telling anyone who would listen. Oh right, the guy from his campaign bunker in MD that could not campaign, happened to get got over 12 million more votes than Barry did? No questions asked. What fraud, they ask?

But the real resistance to it survives and thrives; they can’t take that away. They may get a few of us but they can’t get us all.

So I don’t know how many more entries you’ll get from me in the next 6 months, Looks like the S will HTF in DC the third week in January. The progressives – what a name for a bunch of retrogressive commies – aim to lay siege on the capitol and who knows how fast they’ll move to crack down?

The same social media comrades are screaming for camps and reeducation to begin. Well, most of em don’t believe in reeducation – not that they believed much in real education either. They have a final solution in mind and don’t mind saying so. But camps will do at least to satisfy their foaming mouths.

A sad sight it will be. Don’t know yet if Old Glory will still fly above the White House when they get their way. I mean, what difference at this point does it make to them?

The Comrades stalled off their last riots planned for after election. So there is one in the Left’s breach, just waiting to erupt in synergy. You know their forte for fire and looting. They can’t go long without lighting up something and threatening anyone.

So we’re all wondering if this is really what the end of the Republic looks like? There’s not a lot of optimism. These commies got their fervor cranked up. Wrath of the Left.

I can’t even tell other people what do. Guess they have to figure that out with the rest of us. You’d think progs would have tried to keep that election lie alive for next time. Actually I don’t think they care anymore. This was the finale.

A few of the notorious commies on MSNBS announced that all the incoming regime should have it stamped on their forehead – and don’t think it was hyperbole – that “deficits don’t matter!” (Extra emphasis) So this is their doctrine of operation? I’m guessing so. You know how sometimes they tell you straight out.

The printing presses won’t be able to keep up with them.

I’ll try to fill you in with an update in a few weeks. I hate to keep you waiting. But ain’t much good news to report. It’s all bad. So the pandemic turned into just another excuse, or opportunity as they call it, for another run on the will of the people.

Not pretty at all.

You take care old friend and keep your head down, this is going to get ugly. Keep praying for us out there. He’s all that hears us now.

My best, that’s all I got.

PS: Looks like the old guard Deep State is running the whole shit show now.

Vive la US,… or what’s left of her now!

Fruits And Nuts Debut On CNN

Today I am going to delve into a very dark place with spirits of hatred and bitterness so pronounced that it could curl your toenails. .

But first, this place broadcasts openly calling itself the purveyor of facts and the go to source for news — at least in airport terminals and waiting rooms across America.

That place, otherwise known by the letters CNN, is not a place I recommend but if you go there, you may be stained for life. It could even give one nightmares. Take this particular episode of Anderson Cooper 360, guest hosted by John Berman.

The panelists included David Gergen, Douglas Brinkley. And Gergen with Caroline Cohen authored a piece for CNN on the Trump/Biden transition as a discussion primer.

Gergen Tweets::

It has become clear that Trump & Co are deliberately trying to sabotage the Biden presidency. Some 50 million Americans appear to believe Biden is illegitimate. We have never seen this before & it is quite dangerous.”

Sabotage, Really? Never? I’m shocked!

Excerpts:

“This is a big deal in our national life. As the Reuters reporters wrote, the widespread rejection of the election results among Republicans “reflects a new and dangerous dynamic in American politics.”

“Doing the math, that means on the day Biden takes the oath of office, over 50 million Americans will believe he is an illegitimate president. Collectively, they could be a powerful political force for years to come. Though opposing parties have questioned the legitimacy of elections in the past, never before have such beliefs been grounded in a calculated campaign of misinformation.”

”Never before has the opposition undermined the legitimacy of a new president before he has even taken office to anything like this degree or in this fashion.” [Factcheck that one!– BBC]

“It’s important to remember that this hasn’t happened by accident. It is increasingly clear that for months, Trump and his campaign surrogates have engaged in a systematic effort to kneecap Biden and his presidency. In the lead-up to the election, Trump repeatedly questioned the legitimacy of mail-in ballots and suggested he wouldn’t accept the results of the election if he lost. In short, this has been a deliberate campaign of sabotage, undertaken with scant regard for how much damage it may inflict upon our democracy.”

“[Trump] expects to gain political influence from the millions of people who believe in him more fervently than they do in our democratic traditions.”

On A/C 360, Brinkley agreed with Gergen claiming it is bizzaro. Then he questioned the sanity of Trump, predicting Biden may not succeed in unifying the country and that Trump probably doesn’t go to the swearing in.

The piece suggests opposition to Biden is a threat, worrying how it could be stopped. One conclusion seems to be betting on Trump investigations to continue harassing him.

So their wishful strategy has become clear if it wasn’t before election — try to marginalize Trump and no doubt his supporters. Their fear is Trump could inhibit Biden’s agenda.

Well, guess what, to Gergens and the Brinkleys, we are not going away. And the tens of millions of people, 73 by their count, are not going to cover our heads or go away.

Maybe you will grow some self-awareness to see the pendulum swings both ways. All you have done to Trump for his entire term, and now you would prefer some semblance of calm, unity, or kumbaya for Biden and will feel cheated if you don’t get it? Come on, man!

Well, welcome to reality and it’s a bitch.

You honestly expect that people would forget the way Trump was treated by the media and Left, who now want to prop up Biden? And forget the Swamp that tried to take him down. You’re kidding. CNN even hired the lawless, discredited former officials.

So Number 2 of the coup is getting no pass from us.

But it does sound like some people are getting a little worried about reality.

Hypocrisy In Spades

There is no need to restate all that happened for four years of undermining President Trump and the 2016 election, right from the moment he won let alone ran.

However, the current situation is reporters are seen ambushing officials and authorities, like Michigan’s, with shouts of “will you honor the will of the people?”

No phrase could be more insulting or hypocritical to me than that. Maybe it is by design? I don’t know. Coming from the very people who never honored the will of the people.

In fact, they did everything they could to subvert and deny the will of the people. They undermined our electoral system with fabrications and dismissed criminal conduct.

Now they erase it all as if that election were never attacked. Then have the audacity to ask, “will you honor the will of the people?” There is nothing more repulsive.

On top of that 4-year record, compounding it with all Democrats did in this election, to utter those words just disgusts me. I rest my case.

Preserving Our Democracy

Where were all these preservationists of democracy four years ago? If anyone here is defining democracy downward, it is Democrats.

We had four years of war against our democracy. Now they believe in democracy?

If they really cared about it, they would care about all the rule changes and undemocratic means they went to in subverting democracy, to reimagine our election system.

Actually, good oversight and checks would only support and defend democracy. But they are against all that. No questions asked.

They told us it was the smoothest election ever. (that ought to scare you) It worked like a charm. After years of telling us elections were at risk and in jeopardy. How dare we disagree about election interference and manipulation everywhere? Then suddenly elections are smooth as silk in the biggest election reconstruction effort ever.

Joe Biden kept saying “voting is happening now” but he couldn’t state his positions.

Dems had just spent four years telling us democracy was breached, broken, and on life support. They even used it as a basis in their sham impeachment trial in January. And they stuck that trial up against the State of the Union Speech to undermine that.

We know they don’t care about hypocrisy. It only bothers the people though, not democrats. They will reverse their stand as soon as it is necessary, and as fast.

Protecting the integrity of elections and voting matters not to the Democrats either. Democracy is supposedly whatever they want to do.

So why do Dems make such a big deal about democracy anyway? Because we care, they know it is important to us. It is our means to send the elected ruling class a message.

They proved how much they cared about that sacred democracy over the last five years. They did not care about protecting it, in process, before 2016 or for four years after.

In fact, it did not matter that they were undermining democracy the entire time. They deligitimized a duly elected president. They fought to disenfranchise everyone who voted for and supported him. Actually, they denied democracy any part in the whole process.

A coup is not democracy. And let’s not forget those cauldrons of democracy that sprang up in riots, looting, and burning down stores. They called them mostly peaceful protests – a ptotected right. “You can’t blame them, it is about democracy.”

Now they concoct an election nightmare with rules bypassing legislatures and enacted by rogue officials and judges. Then it becomes pristine democracy. Who should question the results of such an election? Just like that, four years of questioning those results of the last election was tossed like a Trump ballot.

When you start asking questions about the process now, you are defying sacred grounds. Suddenly we don’t question election processes. That’s off limits.

Excuse me for being sickened by this one-way democracy sham. Cry me a river when they don’t get their way. Then it is time to riot, burn and loot.

Store owners were prepared for predictable violence if Dems did not get their way. Businesses boarded up in advance of the election, knowing full well what to expect.

This one time they were safe because Democrats appeared to get their way by using all their tactics. Had it gone the other way, well, it would still be burning. How many would have been killed or injured? How many stores would have been cleaned out, again?

Afterward, they would blame Trump for all of it it, for winning the election. It would have been called an “attack on democracy.” Not what they did but what Trump did by winning.

Spare me all the lectures from Biden, Obama and media about “preserving our sacred democracy.” The democracy means nothing to them, as meaningless as the Constitution.

Pandemic Poison

The real question is how much fraud will America tolerate? Or how much is too much?

Suddenly people don’t care about election problems. After all, problems are only important to Democrats for the opportunities they create. Just think extortion.

True to political form, Biden keeps telling us that we have incredible opportunities now. What opportunities is he referring to? Only Democrats can define crises as opportunities.

So they used a pandemic crisis from China to create opportunities to remodel elections. Thereby creating another crisis in our election system.

That’s par for the course in the circle of life for the establishment swamp.

Does using the pandemic for ideological ends sound eerily familiar? It should.
That’s exactly like the way CCP and China operates.

Now we are to believe voters elected Biden president because of a malicious pandemic sent from China. I’m seeing a lot of heavy-handed parallels. And that is really a “big f-ing deal!”

How ironic then that Biden should come slithering in just like a virus from China.

Also, Joe Biden should be more than happy to have all the challenges to the election. If he really won free and clear, it should only vindicate him and add legitimacy to the results.

But something tells me now we need a vaccine for elections because they appear to be on life-support. Have they replaced one crisis with another? Expect a crisis epidemic.

Politicizing a pandemic was no problem at all. And voila, suddenly optimism is in vogue?

Away They Go

And away we go on that beautiful balloon, like the old song lyrics “up up and away, my beautiful balloon”. Such is the spirit for Joe Biden and his sidekick, Kamala Harris.

So they were off Saturday night, or so it seemed, on their beautiful ride across the fluffy clouds. Floating on a sea of unity beneath them to carry them through. Isn’t that the storybook way it always works for Democrats? Nothing can stop them; they are on their arrogant way. And that fits all narratives and images media floods us with.

Except nothing could be further from the truth. Just as long as people think everything is all pomp and circumstance with sunshine, lollipops and rainbows, to mix other lyrics with the mood. Everything is functioning right on schedule.

This case is unique though. There are contrasting contradictions everywhere. The opening scene is Biden’s victory speech upon their ‘election’. Media ordained Biden the victor.

A crowd of people and vehicles surrounds the stage at a drive-in lot in Wilmington, Delaware. People are waiting sandwiched between tightly parked vehicles. But for once there is not a bonfire in the foreground or protest signs everywhere. Instead of chants of no justice no peace, there are peace signs flashing and smiles.

American flags are waved rather than burned on the ground.

Dance music replaces angry screams from a megaphone. The crowd cheers instead of issuing violent threats. As if it were the first time people heard cheers in this country.

Biden speaks lofty tones of platitudes instead of angry catch phrases. He suggests doing good things. He now talks about unity instead of people with “veins popping out” carrying tiki torches. He lectures us all to stop treating opponents as enemies, rather than branding his own opponents as racists.

Then in the finale afterward, there are fireworks lighting the sky instead of shooting fireworks at cops like weapons. Party mood instead of the usual riots.

So the irony is rich with hypocrisy everywhere. The media calls it a grand moment instead of smearing it as racist rhetoric. Reporters say it touches all the notes perfectly. Media calls it a beautiful thing to see the family, instead of mocking them. What excitement, and a “historic” moment. What a great country this is, they say, rather than condemning it.

Flashback to the way it happened when Trump won. Well, a completely opposite story. Promises of resistance and illegitimacy floated through the air thick with hatred.

Media boasts and gloats. But who knew that a Biden election was a cure for PTSD? That conclusion based on Don Lemon’s dramatic vision of a Biden-Harris victory granted by media. He declared he and his leftist brethren were stricken with PTSD by Trump.

Yet Democrats’ celebration goes on despite the highly unusual, controversial, speculative outcome in the contested election. But narratives and images are progressives’ specialty. Truth and reality have no bearing on election perception. Media, you wrote the script.

Empty Suit Wins Presidency?

So let me state the Democrats’ best defense of Joe Biden, in the event he won the election. This will be long and hard to grasp. It requires deep intellectual acuity.

Here it is: “Joe Biden is a good man.” That’s it. That stimulates every neuron in the brain.

Combine that with the way he ran a campaign from his basement that raised record-breaking amounts of money. However, he has stayed in a Holiday Inn a few times.

I have been listening to Biden supporters across the spectrum, from identity to identity, and that is their explanation for why they support Joe Biden. It’s the good man excuse.

That alone will guarantee him to be an excellent president. “He has the right character for the job.” Thus he will be a good president. That’s it. (debate is over)

It is now the consensus of the national press — as if any other possibility ever existed.

At the time I finished writing, the media has declared Biden the winner. They skipped right past declaring states. Biden IS the winner! Still counting but skip to the chase.

And right on cue, as if planned, crowds formed in the streets dancing and celebrating. Now they are waving American Flags instead of burning them. But more on that later.

Do you get the irony of media taking a stand to declare Biden the winner?
“Live, from his basement in Delaware… it’s not Saturday Night Live, but Biden Live.

It’s Howdy Doody time!!

What time does the civil war start? Asking for a friend.

Let’s make sure we count the military votes, while ripping the guts out of the country.

In that spirit…. a little look back.

“You’ve got to do more than just simply talk about it.”

This message has been brought to you by the Rip Van Winkle Enterprise.

Election Crunch Time

Three days before the election and so it is time for predictions of sorts. Now I promise not to bore you.

I have consulted with my satirical sidekick, Iggy Bliss, and made a few conclusions between us. Well, Iggy is far too busy managing the farm to write any memos to America.

The first prediction is not much of one really but a definitive resolution. No matter which way this so-called election goes – and I have my doubts about calling it that – I have a message for each scenario.

If Trump wins, I will say “I told you so.” If Biden wins, I’ll say “I told you so.” No, that is not cheating. It’s true.

The second point to understand is that it has not been an election from Jo-ho Biden’s side of the campaign. He has not been forced to answer anything about central questions in this election. Now he hides his real agenda like his years of corruption.

He gets to take a pass on questions and is given one by major media.

Drilling down, it is even harder to find out what exactly Joe really stands for besides wearing masks. Iggy and I can atest to it that, at least on the farm, masks are not the be-all end-all. They don’t fix all the problems by wearing them.

However, it is certainly hard to get down to what Joe will really do. He doesn’t want us to know. He wants it to be a blank slate, which is why he and his surrogates talk in platitudes like Demos usually do. But what does it mean in practice? Not much, it is just pie in the sky – lofty sounding rhetoric designed to make you feel good for about 2 seconds while they plot a way to screw you. That’s the DNC way.

So, it is much easier though to state what he is against rather than what he is for, which tells us more about what he would do than the lies he wants us to believe. If you thought Biden was a “moderate” then you haven’t been paying attention. He is another transformational candidate that talks more about transition than preserving sanity.

Behind the wacky ideas, think riots, violence, “protests.” And they have honed their skills for years without consequence or accountability.

The real Joe, then, is the against side of the ledger.

  • Anti-Trump
  • Anti-fracking
  • Anti-fossil fuels
  • Anti-law enforcement
  • Anti-justice (in any conventional sense of it)
  • Anti-electoral college
  • Anti-business
  • Anti-working class
  • Anti-Constitution
  • Anti-2nd Amendment
  • Anti-1st Amendment
  • Antifa sympathizer and apologist.
  • Anti-peace
  • Anti-prosperity
  • Anti-borders (and control of them)
  • Anti-America (in most conventional senses)
  • Anti-individual
  • Anti-freedom

Should you think that is a stretch, just examine his record and picks for VP with the rest.

Let’s add to this the Party factor. You do not build the most radical national party like the DNC without the intention of flexing your muscles, frequently. That was the whole purpose for its existence: to be the ugly, brown-shirt enforcement behind the radical agenda.

But that brings us to the most important point. Don’t tell people what you really support, it would scare the hell out of them. (Halloween move over) So pretend it is all about empathy, compassion, unity and identifying with people even while you don’t.

Contrast that with Trump, who actually has an agenda he can speak of. In 2016, he had a contract with America on all the promises he made. He is a long way to fulfilling them. No, dumb-dumb-Dems, you cannot use unfulfilled promises against Trump while concealing your entire agenda. He had/has a transparent agenda; he ran on it, then he stuck to it.

In view of all that, there really should be only one choice. It makes this election simple.

Storybook Economy

I will not link directly to the article in Politico saying that Wall Street is getting absolutely giddy about a Biden presidency. Put some more lipstick on that pig.

We should have seen that one coming even if it makes no sense. (maybe cents was the correct term?) Political biases, especially these days, are very insidious and often void of common sense. But one like this cries out for simplicity.

So then, what they are actually saying is that Marxists and socialists (i.e. communists) can run the economy — and government — better and more efficiently.

Does anyone really believe that?

They have evidently found ways to rationalize how Biden would be good for them or their bottom lines. I don’t know exactly how but if one of them was to remove responsibility from the equation, it might be one way of seeing it optimistically. But if they are thinking Marxist control is going to be a great thing for them, the economy, or country, then it also puts them on the ideological opposite side of the people.

“Far from panicking at the prospect of a Biden win, Wall Street CEOs, traders and investment managers now mostly say they would be fine with a change in the White House that reduces the Trump noise, lowers the threat of further trade wars and ensures a continuation of the government spending they’ve seen in recent years. “

Now they can say that if Joe won it would mean the people support such Marxist or socialist ideas, but they would be wrong. Many in the Democrat Party over the last few years have been disgusted by this rush toward socialism. Some have pooh-poohed the Marxist criticique, I know. They are only deniers to where it all leads.

And the really sad thing about it is how fast it does take us into that socialism wormhole. Whoever thought that they would be running on an open plan of socialism in a national election? That would have seemed very brazen, even politically stupid, only a few short years ago. Not anymore.

It seems the street wants stability, despite whether it is a Marxist wave or not. But it would seem hard to rationalize that Marxism would be stability for the economy or markets. At what point then would they become queasy? It begs the question.

There’s a brand new talk but it’s not very clear“…

We are the goon squad
And we’re coming to town
Beep-beep

Nightmares Of Obama

In one brief moment yesterday, it all came rushing back to me about the many reasons we jettisoned Obama. But he ws back shouting his lectures again, to the voters.

Sure it took eight years to do it but looking back at that tells you all you need to know on how we got here. Thank goodness. It was a rough ride and now we are here.

Obama said a stupid, childish thing like “Tweeting at the TV is not going to fix things.” Referring to some caricature of Trump he envisions, I assume.

This from a man who talked and talked and talked and never did anything of value for people or the whole country. He stomped on their hopes, dreams and history.

  • Lecturing people was not going to fix things, Barry.
  • Politicizing the DOJ and FBI was not fixing things.
  • Tearing the country down was not fixing things.
  • Mocking and talking down to people was not fixing things.
  • Apologizing for a bad America was not fixing things.
  • Mocking and blaming Christians was not fixing things.
  • Runnning a clandestine surveillance on political opponents was not fixing things.
  • Using the IRS to attack political opponents was fixing nothing.
  • Constructing a coup on an incoming president was not fixing things.
  • Gutting our military was not fixing things,
  • Selling out America was not fixing things. (it was breaking thngs)
  • Writing unconstitutional dictates was not fixing things.
  • Refusing to cooperate with investigations was not fixing anything.
  • Instituting a war on energy was not fixing things.
  • Leading from behind was not going to fix things.

For a minute, all the shattered hopes and dreams were again visible. When all that mattered, once again, was that we hear soundbites from an angry man yelling at us. And yelling at America. He never liked America, it was abundantly clear. He despises us.

So he fixed nothing…..except our resolve. Thanks for nothing, Barack Hussein Obama.

And The Survey Says

I just completed an unofficial survey. I have now watched three news segments where they go out to ask black voters why they are voting for Biden, or why they are not voting for Trump?

This is the way media campaigns, by canvassing the black dislike of Trump. They are desperate to present a narrative. What it really shows is another thing.

It reveals some stunning results. A few said they had no reason. Someone said because of the COVID crisis. One remarked that her vote was 80% against Trump and 20% for Biden.

But here is a spoiler alert. Out of all the selected participants, no one could name a good reason why they supported Joe Biden. No one mentioned looks either.

Asked if they saw or felt any enthusiasm for Biden, most said no. One exception did say she was excited about Biden, and that he is actively campaigning, though didn’t explain why.

When asked if they were aware or thought Democrats have taken their votes for granted in the past, most agreed. Yep, that’s how it is. One said that Dems (or Repubs) need the black vote to win and that they expect the black voters to turn out in elections.

Sure some of them disliked Donald Trump. One said that he has not done anything al all for the black community. The same woman said people tell her he is not his/her president. And she asks, did you vote last time? Because if you didn’t vote, then you voted for him.

Okay, but why vote for Biden was not clear. When did Joe become the safe vote or the undecided vote? Why is he a default vote? What makes him the best choice?

I’m sorry, I have to throw down the stupid card here. People cannot formulate a coherent reason why they are voting for Biden. So I have to ask why they are even voting then?

You know it is not just this election and it crosses racial or age lines, too. Many people don’t have substantive reasons why they vote the way they do. It is not just blacks.

I know, I know, someone will accuse me of vote suppression for questioning why they vote? But I could conclude that voter suppression goes the opposite way; their vote cancels out my and other people’s votes. It makes you wonder if they really take it that seriously?

Culture Shock And Awe

As luck would have it, we are gifted with another issue in a contested election. Well, one of those assumptions is correct anyway.

So it is a perceived volitile election and that opens the door wide for the mischief of the left. I mean what more could they try after a coup, special counsel investigation and even an impeachment just this year?

You got to hand it to the left to try to get out and stomp on the election before it even got kicked off. And dirt is their specialty. After all, they have been playing the culture war for years to try to abolish the right.

But how come Democrats never seem to get caught up in cancel culture?

Anyway, so the right insists on nominating and confirming a Supreme Court nominee and all their usual tactics come out. Smear smear, even to the point of changing the definition of packing the Supreme Court. A legitimate confirmation is now packing the Court. FDR must be laughing at that one.

All this should tell us that the perception polls we are fed are wrong. Why else would they be so worried? Remember their suppress the vote game in 2016. People see through it.

So they jumped on a Supreme Court nominee like a shark on chum. Villainize her, attack, attack. But she is too good for that. There’s no there there. Even their own base admits the only problem with her was the timing of the nomination. In other words, the Constitution. At least they raised lots of money on Roe fear.

After two days of testimony, all they could do is talk about Obamacare. So they went for the cheap shot: send a message about Obamacare to the High Court through the hearings. Just hope that it resonates in the hall with the Robed ones already seated.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden runs his whole campaign on politicizing a pandemic after his racism angle died on the vine. He weaponized it for months now. But even that is falling apart, a few revelations came out to wreck that train.

WHO announced lock downs should not be the preferred method of dealing with COVID. Then an article broke news that Coronavirus may be winding down. NYT also reported the Trump administration’s Operation Warp Speed has largely been a success. Oops.

“Despite the chaos in day-to-day politics and the fighting over issues like masks and lockdowns, Operation Warp Speed — the government’s agreement to subsidize vaccine companies’ clinical trials and manufacturing costs — appears to have been working with remarkable efficiency.” –NYT

Then even Dems could not get traction in SCOTUS hearings by using COVID to delay or cancel hearings. The pandemic-pulooza did not work well in the hearings against Repubicans either because there sat Amey Coney Barrett with her mid-western smile, willing to take anything they threw at her. Damn, the culture wars did not even get traction as Roe-Wade Flopped.

In fact, it looked like the people are so pleased with her that they now think confirmation is the right thing to do. So what if there is an election going on?

Imagine on the heels of all those failures, there are going to be disgruntled leftists somewhere. I mean they didn’t even get to stage a protest in the Capitol against her confirmation. Sen. Mazie Hirono was left to ask a question if Barrett had ever committed sexual assault or harassment since being an adult? Just a standard question now.

When in doubt fire the biggest blank you can find, even if it is empty.

About the only ones who don’t recognize the epic failure that all this has been is CNN. They are still chasing super-spreader events, while spreading manure everywhere. But wait, wasn’t there a steroid rage angle on Trump last week? Never mind.

Oh, that was before the Pence vs Harris debate. You know it was a bad night for Democrats when all they had was the talk about a fly that landed on Mike Pence’s hair. Maybe it was trying to tell them something. But they missed any warning sent them. Kamala’s facial expressions were more than enough distraction from a fly.

Now, one more thing rolls down the empty highway of the Left. After the second hearings, a Leftist named Garrison Keillor went on Twitter to reveal at least his exhaustion with their whole agenda. He wasted no time throwing Roe V Wade under the bus in the name of national unity. Say what? So for your entertainment pleasure, here is the Tweet captured that set off a firestorm of infighting among Leftist allies. Too soon, is it?

If it is one thing it hasn’t been on the Left, it is boring. Depressing maybe, but not boring.
Does that sound like Dems just might be in full meltdown mode?

Closer Argument

Even though it seems more like an election season this year, we are still coming up on the eve of election day 2020. Since Michelle put out a closer for team Obamas, it may be time to think out one on the right. If you didn’t see Michelle’s, it is a real riot.

Let me see if I can boil this down for even the squeamish anti-Trumers. (never-Trumpers may never go along) And it does not take a lot of thought, calculation, or even hubris.

Over the past many years, many of us have been compelled, even forced, to hold our noses to vote for a candidate we didn’t like. There was Romney, McCain, even Bush at times.

We understood the importance of the times and regretfully bit our tongues to vote for the choice the GOP put up. Sure, we complained knowing it was not the right choice but we voted for him. We understood the consequences of not voting for him.

Now here we are and just once ask you to vote for the leader of our party — the only option to the Left’s takeover of America. You know it and we know it. Debate is over.

This is the most consequential election in modern history. Can’t you hold your nose and bite your tongue for the good? What do you get for abstaining or throwing away a vote?

We’ve done it many times. If you don’t know or understand the threat we face from progressives (or however they identify), then may God have mercy on you, and us.
