Allen West on Obama’s Iranian deal

Time for a heavy dose of truth… from Allen West. Its a dirty job, someone has to do it.

Published on Jul 22, 2015

Former Florida Congressman Allen West absolutely exploded over the Iran nuclear deal during a fiery speech at a “Stop Iran Deal Rally” in New York City’s Times Square on Wednesday. The Republican strongly criticized President Barack Obama’s leadership on the issue, calling him a “weakling” and “charlatan.” West asked the crowd of thousands “what message” the United States is sending by negotiating with the “number one state sponsor of terrorism” and a country that is holding “four Americans hostage.” more

Bottoms up, I wonder how that echoed through the White House? Likely not well. The problem is truth telling. I’ve had this discussion with Peppermint. When you really think of it, just realize how rare truth telling has become. It blows my mind to think about that. And West sure brought it home with this speech, Thomas Paine reference and all.

Pope validates Palestinian State

NY Times | May 13,2015

JERUSALEM — The Vatican announced Wednesday that it would soon sign a treaty that includes recognition of the “state of Palestine,” lending significant symbolic weight to an intensifying Palestinian push for international support for sovereignty that bypasses the paralyzed negotiations with Israel.

Non-Muslim prayer on Temple Mount

Jerusalem court upholds Jewish prayer on Temple Mount

Security services prohibit non-Muslims from praying or engaging in other forms of worship on the site, claiming such activity triggers Palestinian violence.

Activists hailed what they labeled as an historic victory on Monday, after the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court issued a ruling ostensibly backing claims that Jews be allowed to pray on the Temple Mount.

Activist Yehudah Glick had brought a law suit against the Israel Police for banning him for two years from visiting the site because of video evidence of him praying there.

Glick, who was seriously wounded in an assassination attempt last year by a Palestinian extremist, was banned from the Temple Mount between 2011 and 2013 after he was seen uttering a Jewish prayer at the site in a Channel 10 broadcast.

The security services prohibit non-Muslims from praying or engaging in other forms of worship on the Temple Mount, claiming that such activity inevitably triggers Palestinian violence.

The Supreme Court has previously upheld the theoretical right for Jews to pray at the site, although it has stated that the security services are permitted to take security considerations into account when deciding whether to allow non-Muslim prayer there.

We’ll see what happens. Muslims paid no attention to that before, will they now?

Funny how any non-Muslim prayer agitates and offends Muslims. So your freedom of religion triggers their Muslim violence. But we have “phobias”?

Pope Francis recently visited the Temple Mount. I hope he did not engage in any triggering prayer while there. (he probably knew better)

Well, let’s not trigger those sensitive Muslims.

The Left having their way

I didn’t want to start a long rant over the sentiments in that last article about Israel. I almost did but then what’s the use? It is nothing new under the sun.

But if I would have, I almost said something like I hope by next year you find something positive to be cheerful about to appreciate Israel’s Independence Day. Almost. But if you consider what would make some on the Left happy and encouraged by Israel, that was probably not a good idea.

In other words, had Netanyahu lost then probably a lot of that negativity would have been washed away. If his opponents and Obama-bots had their way, it would be another story. They would be dancing in the streets Sort of like here when Obama won. They would be shouting victory, maybe naively. Anyway it provided a good comparison and reminder to the state of America as well as the state of Israel — and current world conditions.

I find it amusing sometimes how the leftist mind works or doesn’t. The old saying about be careful what you wish for rings true. The same applies to the progressive Left here. They don’t read the word caution on a sign, they react by going full speed ahead.

Anyway, not to rant here, but when I consider what the Leftists want it makes me realize why we cannot appease them. It is not a pretty world when the progressives get exactly what they want. That does not stop their overreaching either. It could be a horrible thing to think about the Left getting its way entirely. You can say “but they are,” though they haven’t got to their utopia yet. That’s the difference. There is a whole lot they still want. And besides, I don’t think there is a finality to their utopian model, it keeps on going. So if they were all happy campers, then I think we’d be in even worse shape – imagine.

I heard someone ask a minister about all the places he had spoke asking, ‘if you were invited to speak at a Hillary Clinton rally, would you?’ But I think I know that answer, the person said. The minister explained, I can speak most anywhere except where I have to water down or change my message. So the point was if they gave him unconstrained ability to say what he would, then he could do it. But that is not the Left of today. That is not going to happen because it would not be in the Left’s interests. Hillary or the Left will have certified fellow-travelers speak because they can control the message. And truth is really not on topic. There are a few parallels to both of these.

Actually if it was up to the Left, they would run Elizabeth Warren if she could win hands down. But even Warren is not left enough for them. (I’m not sure socialist Bernie Sanders is either) You can probably find the same thing in Israel’s Left.

It is sort of like wondering what it would have taken to make Ted Kennedy happy? We saw how far he was willing to go to get what he wanted, volunteering our media to Soviets. Kennedy would supply them press access to speak directly to the  American people, with the objective of defeating Reagan — but he offered access. So you see there are no lines or limits with the Left. Just like with Clintons, whatever their objectives are; or like Obama’s “ends justifies the means” philosophy. It’s something akin to wishing the Islamic State happiness, while knowing what makes them happy.

PS: I forgot the obvious, who puts political agenda above their national holiday?

No cause for Israel celebration

With a little sadness, but knowing and seeing how the left thinks, I ask any pro-Israel people to take a look at this article and read it. Well, the anti-Israel haters can read it too, though their sentiments are close to what’s reflected in it.

Why I won’t be celebrating Israel’s independence this year” | Haaretz news

Doesn’t it sound eerily familiar, like some of our liberals here? Talk about a pessimistic view. All about politics and negativity because Netanyahu won et al. Note the channeled voice of speaking for masses and the dripping intellectual elitist views. Well, it probably went over real well in some circles.(if that was the plan) Sad it comes to this.

Obama tells shrink his personal feelings

Not exactly, but it was along those lines that he laid out his concerns and problems.

Obama claims he is hurt by these comments that his administration is anti-Israel. Oh, our negative talk about Obama and his policies is the problem. His feelings are hurt.

We already know that “death to America” and “death to Israel” chants don’t bother him. But we the people talking about his anti-Israel policy hurts him. Wow, so the truth actually does hurt? (obviously not enough)

But then he was also hurt…no pissed off when Bibi came here to make a speech at Congress. The petulant manchild has some awfully strange phobias as it turn out.

I guess he skipped the whole Biblical principle that those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse it will be cursed. Maybe if he began to break out with boils and lesions, he would start to get the message. Then again…

Israelis may be “hurt” by his administration calling Netanyahu chicken-__. Nah.

“It has been personally difficult for me to hear, sort of expressions that somehow we don’t have…that this administration has not done everything it could…uh, to look out for Israel’s interests.” Obama told the New York Times in an interview, with a grinnish smirk on his face.

His personal difficulties are now, on record, embedded in the political narrative as being a victim of comments that he is anti-Israel. Whoa to those personal difficulties.

Yet he goes to another Easter prayer breakfast to complain once again about Christians. Just after an earth-shattering agreement with the theocratic “death to America” Iran, he lectures us on Christianity. Another prayer breakfast, another attack.

Obama: I’m Concerned by ‘Less Than Loving’ Comments From Christians

Fred Lucas — | The Blaze

President Barack Obama on Tuesday used the White House Easter prayer breakfast to accuse some Christians of lacking love, then said he was “pulling back” from saying any more.

“On Easter, I do reflect that as a Christian, I am supposed to love,” Obama said. “I have to say that sometimes, when I listen to less than loving expressions by Christians, I get concerned. But that’s a topic for another day.”

Some in the audience applauded, and laughed.

More: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2015/04/07/obama-im-concerned-by-less-than-loving-comments-from-christians/

No doubt about that, it will be a “topic” on another day, too, at opportune times.

We never hear any of his sharp critiques aimed at Muslims and Islam, or in his festivities in Ramadan etc. No, he goes out of his way to shed the best possible light on Islam and fellow Muslims, living out their faith.

Obama’s Christian-bashing is akin to Pontius Pilate lecturing the disciples on the finer points of their Christian faith. So, if the Christians he is referring to would only be more agreeable to him(and his thinking), there would be no problem. Obama was not practicing his divisive organizing talent on Iran. Instead, he goes back to using Christians and Christianity for a whipping post.

All this Christian persecution everywhere but he’s hurt by our “anti-Israel” comments, of the “less than loving” Christians?

The economic activism of the Left

Two aspects of liberal activism share a common theme.

The Left and the gay movement boycott your business if they don’t like your views or ideas. Or they want to force you to do business, while giving you the business.

Here we have progressives, Liberals, Democrats or what ever you want to call them, with their favorite method of economic activism. Striking at the heart of businesses has long been a target of opportunity for the Left.

Boycotting places like Chick-fil-A was their standard m/o when a company or owner did something, or had a social position, they did not like. Yes, it turned into a boon when people countered by taking business to them in droves. It was a reverse activism the Left despised. So they painted anyone who patronized the business into bigots.

Remember how they boycotted Dr Laura and her sponsors? Eventually she gave up. Notice all the times they targeted businesses and sponsors of shows like Dr Laura’s they didn’t like. The Left loves a good boycott to get their collective juices going. They don’t have to know all the details. But of course they don’t stop with boycotts, they actively protest or march against the establishments. The goal is to hurt or destroy it.

Then there was Occupy Wall Street cranking their strategy up a few notches — as only the left can. That just showed how they can roll all their ugly activism into one and still have pols and government pandering to their agenda — whatever that was, and it’s a moving goalpost.(capitalism, big banks, big business, big-government, wages or whatever)

Then there is their beloved crown jewel, the BDS movement (haters inc.), against Israel. Anyone who does business or buys and sells with Israel deserves to be on the list. Anything tied to Israel in some way gets on that enemy list. That is on top of their ordinary protests against Israel. Fuel it with plenty of anti-Semitism. Israel is grounds for protest; or divestment of anything related to Israel. They call on governments and campuses to take up that banner. They call on countries and the UN to slap sanctions on Israel. The reason becomes secondary to the actual movement, it doesn’t really matter. In effect, they want a world united against Israel. No, it doesn’t matter who is a party to the movement or what they’ve done. Anyone can and should join, according to the organizers.

The BDS movement offers a glimpse into the scope of their activism. Anything goes: board a ship or break the law, it doesn’t matter. All that matters is hatred of Israel. It brings on board some of the worst of the worst offenders in human rights. It unites them all — the Left, Muslim Brotherhood, dictators, terrorists, academia, unions — under the same banner on a platform of hatred. Rally the troops. The same formula on a smaller scale plays out on all sorts of the Left’s favorite social issues. Again, the political movement matters even more than the justification or rationale. Politics rules.

The civil rights activists operate in the same way, from Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to Hollywood celebs engaging in the same politics. Blacklisting people, no problem. Boycotting or running them out of business. Shaking down corporations for money or cronyism. Now the gay agenda, a limb of the Left, engaging their sexual agenda.’ Don’t like a policy or something of a business? This is the means to whatever ends you desire.

Now up pops another tactic: force businesses or people to do business in ways they don’t want. The polar opposite of boycotts. Force businesses into agreements or relationships because activists can. Then use the Left’s staple of government force, against their will, as the enforcer. They always love to have government coercion working on their behalf. The ultimate goal of the Left is having government enforcement. Think of it as the 60s radicals now having government serve their interests.

Use it under the banner of: environmentalism, the green agenda, illegal immigration, social justice, gun control, spending programs, energy, oil and resources development, same sex marriage and gay agenda, abortion, crime and justice, class warfare, wages, union activism, or anti-Christian agenda.

So they pick out those they choose to offend into submission under government’s hand. Morals and principles are replaced by political agenda. Politics trumps all. Now when Harry Reid tells a big lie from the floor of the Senate, it is justified if his enemy loses. People refer to this as “the ends justify the means” but it is worse than that. It is a politics at any cost ideology.(the very definition of an ideologue)

This is their economic terrorism model. Just that it strives to have government run interference for their political agenda. Any wonder we see a politicized bureaucracy and hyper-partisanship? That is by design, after all, and exactly what they want. They don’t want a neutral or Apolitical government, they want it radicalized just like under Obama. It could be the closest thing yet to a utopian model.

You already knew that but it doesn’t hurt to keep pointing it out. They want government to be their big brother, the thug, the enforcer… the Cosa Nostra. They don’t want officials to take an oath, they want them to vow to government’s omerta and punish whistleblowers. (break their kneecaps) It all means whatever their political agenda is at the time. And keep those government wheels well-greased with plenty of lobbying and activism — Organize for Activism and Move On dot ug. Petitions and perpetual grievance keep it running smoothly. (smooth in radical terms)

So activists want to force a business they don’t like to do business against its will, or activists will boycott and ruin the business. Make sense? Hey.hey, ho, ho…

Buchanan unchained and off the rails

Buchanan demonstrates the fallacy of academia’s thinking. Iran is not as bad as you think, while Israel is a danger to diplomacy. Not to over simplify it.

So the elite intellectuals know better than everyone else. What could go wrong? Well, his book is probably hundreds of pages more of the same cliff notes displayed here.

Here’s a good report on the back and forth at Newsmax.

Occupation of hating Israel

Barack Obama’s top aide says Israeli ‘occupation’ must end

Dennis McDonough says the White House isn’t impressed with Israeli prime minister’s effort to backtrack on campaign comments.

By Edward-Isaac Dovere — 3/23/15 | Politico

White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough made clear in a speech to a left-leaning Israel advocacy group that President Barack Obama isn’t letting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu off the hook for his dismissal of a two-state solution.

That stance, as well as Netanyahu’s suggestion also made in the closing days before last week’s Israeli elections that he’d approved settlements in contested territory in Jerusalem for the strategic purpose of changing the borders are “so very troubling,” McDonough told J Street’s annual conference in Washington. He called the pro-Israel group, which opposes some of Netanyahu’s policies, “our partner.”

“We cannot simply pretend that these comments were never made,” McDonough said.

“An occupation that has lasted more than 50 years must end,” McDonough said, one of several times he brought the crowd to its feet.

Let’s put it this way, anyone or thing that opposes Netanyahu or Israel they’ll call “our partner”. But, as usual, it is worse than that. McDonough also referenced the BDS movement. (dominated by his Leftist base.) And as noted, he gets applause for using the tag line “occupation”. Or as Joseph Farah points out in his column:

Yes, I’ll say it: Obama is anti-Semitic

Exclusive: Joseph Farah examines president’s ‘outrageous anti-Israel policies
WND

(Editor’s note: Joseph Farah wrote this column before the Obama administration betrayed Israel in the most shocking way by revealing classified information about its nuclear program.)

What’s that old adage?

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s probably a duck.

Oh its a duck alright. What follows in his piece is an indictment of the Obama administration’s anti-Semitic behavior. So deeper than the dust up between Netanyahu, it is downright bigotry and hatred toward Israel. Then Obama and his cohorts have the nerve to act like they are an ally or friends with Israel?

Item #3 — How does Obama spell revenge?

US Declassifies Document Revealing Israel’s Nuclear Program

Obama revenge for Netanyahu’s Congress talk? 1987 report on Israel’s top secret nuclear program released in unprecedented move.
By Ari Yashar, Matt Wanderman — 3/25/2015 | Israel National News

In a development that has largely been missed by mainstream media, the Pentagon early last month quietly declassified a Department of Defense top-secret document detailing Israel’s nuclear program, a highly covert topic that Israel has never formally announced to avoid a regional nuclear arms race, and which the US until now has respected by remaining silent.[…/]

It will be interesting to see how the Obamafiles explain that one away. Hardly just a tiff with Netanyahu. They aren’t even trying to hide it. Or, as Obama’s White House would point out: if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, it must be a microwave oven.

The Obama anti-Israel agenda

Remember all those statements(let’s say lies) how relations with Israel have never been better and Israel has never had a better ally or friend than Obama’s administration? Well, someone has chronicled a list showing the truth in a timeline.

We knew Obama’s bitter hatred went beyond Netanyahu to Israel itself. We knew but his puppet media played along and sang the song of no better friend to Israel than Obama. Any sane-thinking person knew that was a lie.

But if you keep repeating that line, some maybe not all will believe you. All he needed was that loyal some who would repeat that mantra. While at the same time being in bed with the BDS movement and the anti-Semitism rampant on the left. That never stopped them from claiming the contrary at every opportunity. It worked: they can be Israel haters while claiming they are its best buds. It really is a schizophrenic thing.

A Complete Timeline of Obama’s Anti-Israel Hatred

by Ben Shapiro20 Mar 2015 | Brietbart

On Thursday, the press announced that the Obama administration would fully consider abandoning Israel in international bodies like the United Nations.

According to reports, President Obama finally called Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to congratulate him – but the “congratulations” was actually a lecture directed at forcing Netanyahu to surrender to the terrorist Palestinian regime.

For some odd reason, many in the media and Congress reacted with surprise to Obama’s supposedly sudden turn on Israel. The media, in an attempt to defend Obama’s radicalism, pretend that Netanyahu’s comments in the late stages of his campaign prompted Obama’s anti-Israel action.

But, in truth, this is the culmination of a longtime Obama policy of destroying the US-Israel relationship; Obama has spent his entire life surrounded by haters of Israel, from former Palestine Liberation Organization spokesman Rashid Khalidi to former Jimmy Carter National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski, pro-Hamas negotiator Robert Malley to UN Ambassador Samantha Power (who once suggested using American troops to guard Palestinians from Israelis), Jeremiah Wright (who said “Them Jews ain’t going to let him talk to me”) to Professor Derrick Bell (“Jewish neoconservative racists…are undermining blacks in every way they can”). Here is a concise timeline, with credit to Dan Senor and the editors of Commentary:

See the list, it’s like exhibit A of a rebuttal to their claims. But lying has always been second nature to Obama. (or first nature) It is great when you can say one thing while doing the exact opposite. No better friends, never been closer? Sorry, I want to barf.

Now he turns to disengage with that alliance with Israel in the UN, or basically wherever it still matters. Yet people are supposed to accept his sophistry and specious reasoning as verifiable. Well, it could be certifiable behavior. Still the Left follows him like robots.

He was only looking for an opportunity to justify his actions, so he used Bibi and his speech.(never let a crisis/speech go to waste) Except his actions are aimed at Israel. Netanyahu is just a convenient excuse. Maybe he should thank Bibi for being a scapegoat for his plans?

Adding insult to the injury, what has that position got us: more respect, more friends? No. The other countries hate us just as much, or possibly more because now they see friction between us and Israel. They see conflict, disagreement, distrust, bitterness, resentment and hatred — fruits of a love gone bad . Team Obama wears that on their sleeve. Every step or move Obama makes, he must make the one against Israel.

Worse yet, up until now he hasn’t shown his full hatred. He conceals it like Hillary does her records, but it is on display for all to see. Now he is just making the separation official, as in filing the divorce papers. It’s all there.

Speak up, if you are a Leftocrat or theocrat ruler

First we had Ahmadinejad come to speak at Columbia University. That went over well, if you were a Leftist academic that is. They seemed to enjoy that. They hailed it as a great day for freedom of speech.

“It should never be thought that merely to listen to ideas we deplore in any way implies our endorsement of those ideas…

It is a critical premise of freedom of speech that we do not honor the dishonorable when we open the public forum to their voices. To hold otherwise would make vigorous debate impossible.”– Lee C. Bollinger

Then along came Netanyahu speaking at Congress and the Left booed & hissed about that. Pelosi turned her back to Bibi. Congress writes a letter to Tehran telling them how our system works, so the Left cried foul again and Obama’s White House called it unhelpful meddling. Some called it treasonous. What right did Congress have to do that?

Ali Khamenei writes a letter to our youth back in January that the Left made no fuss over. Two months later, Obama gives an oration to the people of Iran. I’m sure the Left has no criticism for it either. (not a Cairo Speech but they’ll take whatever Obama shovels out) Since Obama’s favorite audience is young people, we know his Tehran tribute was mainly aimed at young people in Iran.

Obama would do well to talk to the leaders in the country that rule with an iron hand. But now he opts for a conversation with young people, even though he ignored them years ago in their uprising. At this point the Iranians are trying to figure out if this is live or just a very delayed response to their earlier pleas. Maybe since Ali Khamenei took the time to write such a thoughtful, inspiring letter to our youth Obama felt inclined to reciprocate?

So we do seem to have this back and forth. But it is only ‘not helpful’ when anyone on the right speaks out. Funny how the subject of his speech was “speaking out” about the “future”. Why that seems to only apply to Liberals, I don’t know? If you are a conservative, “shut up, you have no right to speak on/to that”. If you are a diehard Leftist, your voice is always welcomed even needed. It’s called a double standard, something the left loves. (call it the Hillary or Obama standard)

With all Liberal “dialogue,” as they call it, it never matters if any good comes of it. It is speech. If it is from the Right or conservatives, “hold your horses.” It is wrong-based and wrong-headed. As Heiress in waiting, no doubt Hillary has her watchful eye on this back and forth. In fact, we know because she lampooned Republicans for sending their letter in her speech. That came spontaneously, not like the Keystone Pipeline or anything — not even a Hard Choice. That her response came while she was also trying to explain her Servergate fiasco was purely coincidental. (wink)

Hillary: Republicans were either trying to help the Iranians or hurt President Barack Obama. (Maureen Dowd replied to Hillary with an open letter of her own.)

This freedom of speech is very tricky, even hazardous. I hope maybe Obama can issue one of his necessary Executive edicts to clarify it. That would be ever so helpful.

Speak up and forever hold the peace

Obama said in a message to the Iranian people:

“We have to speak up for the future we seek”

What a bunch of nonsense, which is typical of Obamaspeak. Then he usually gets praised for excellent delivery. Too bad he couldn’t hear any applause from Tehran.

Straw man alert:

“The days and weeks ahead will be critical. Our negotiations have made progress, but gaps remain. And there are people, in both our countries and beyond, who oppose a diplomatic resolution. My message to you—the people of Iran—is that, together, we have to speak up for the future we seek.”

Who are all these people who are against a “diplomatic resolution”? People are opposed to failure. They are opposed to something that doesn’t work. They are opposed to giving away the store. They are opposed to a policy of containment that won’t work But they are not opposed to a diplomatic resolution. But what diplomatic resolution would not include congress? Diplomacy? And they are not opposed to a deal. As long as it is one that works.

But of course he is talking about “diplomacy” with a theocracy and dictatorship waiting for the Mahdi or 12th Imam. An ideology whose duty is to usher in and speed that age through violent jihad and terrorism.

BTW: Can anyone point out the difference between what Russia(Putin) is doing and what Iran is doing? It is the same thing different regions. Russia has invaded Ukraine on the auspices that they were invited there to stabilize it. Iran invaded Iraq under the guise of pushing back ISIS and calming things down. Both have ulterior motives. Both insist it was invited in as a good neighbor. Each believes it is justified in its expansionist motives.

Furthermore, what do the Iranian people have to do or say about the nuclear program? Right, it’s a democratic nuclear program. Petitions, phone calls, and letters to follow.

It’s Springtime in Iran. “Peace in our time.” Watch and listen to this video.

Neville Chamberlain 1938, after Munich Conference: “I believe it is “peace for our time.””

So people wrongly oppose a diplomatic resolution?

Obama is king of the non-scandal

The new definition of scandal is: you cannot call something a scandal until Democrats say it is. That is the official certification of scandal. They declare non-scandals too.

So, no fast and furious scandal… no matter how many guns they run. (see Wikipedia list of Obama controversies) There’s another list of Obama scandals and blunders here.

No, you idiots, Benghazi is not and never was a scandal. It is merely the result of Obama’s overseas contingency operation. But scandal? Hardly. Four Americans including an ambassador are killed and shrouded in false explanations from the administration’s talking points machine. But a scandal? Surely you jest.

IRS, not one itsy-bitsy “smidgeon” of corruption there. Another non-scandal. And we know there are no scandals because Axelrod declared there were none.

Now members of Congress writing a letter to Iran informing them that they have a say in treaties is a seismic scandal. In fact, it qualifies all signers as traitors. Expressing any dissent is treasonous.

But Obama trying to bypass Congress to make a treaty and keep them in the dark, what scandal? That couldn’t possibly be scandalous. Nor is Obama issuing executive edicts on immigration, creating fiat laws, rewriting existing law, and refusal to enforce US law by any stretch a scandal. Even if King O himself said as much years earlier. Well, it isn’t now anyway, which is all that matters. Supporting terrorist organizations, now where is the scandal in that? Obama’s campaign gurus coordinating and working to oust Netanhayu in Israel’s election, while declaring not to be playing politics, is not a problem.

Now Boehner inviting Netanyahu to come and speak his concerns on the security of Israel to Congress? Bingo, that’s scandalous if ever anything was. A scandal of the first order. Obama’s repeated lies about Obamacare were not even an issue compared to that invitation. Obama refuses to engage in diplomacy with Congress but will with dictators like Castro, or concessions to Iran under the guise of a deal. But make a deal with Congress, are you crazy? Dealing with Congress would be scandalous.

Just because he has no respect for the other branches of government doesn’t a scandal make. Usurping congressional or state’s authority could not be scandalous. Playing political roulette with our military and national security is not scandalous. Telegraphing our plans to the enemy is no way a scandal. Declaring all options are on the table while seeking to restrict any of Congress’s options could not be a scandal.

Glad we solved the definition problem. He should have been around to help for the Clinton years. They should have had Obama’s definition of “is”. Besides, Obama could never have a scandal because he could just abolish it by Executive Order.

Notice that while nothing is a scandal to Democrats, they come up with the most creative names to call Republicans for daring to talk about Obama’s non-scandals. So investigating, hearings or even talking about Obama’s many non-scandals is really scandalous — even an abuse of power. That’s the way it works. Congress cites Holder with contempt. Dems and the Black Caucus call that abuse and racism, then stage a protest. So Democrats accuse Republicans of abusing their power. The problem was the administration’s abuses, so Dems defiantly walk out. You just have to know the rules.

Obama’s distraction, classic projection

Obama called Netanyahu’s speech a distraction.

Daily Caller reported:

“Your administration has described Prime Minister Netanyahu’s plans to address to Congress on Iran tomorrow as ‘destructive,’” Mason told Obama. “What damage has really been done?”

“I don’t think it’s permanently destructive,” Obama replied. “I think that it is a distraction from what should be our focus. Our focus should be how do we stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.”

Wait, Netanyahu’s focus is stopping Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. That is the chief objective. Obama’s focus, however, is….well, take your pick

But Obama did take the opportunity before the speech to preemptively attack Bibi:

“Netanyahu made all sorts of claims. This was going to be a terrible deal. … None of that has come true.”

And Obama has made all kinds of claims like about Obamacare, lies. At least now the world knows who they don’t trust. So why should anyone listen to Obama?

On the day Bibi delivered a joint session speech, Obama rolled out his new initiative. As Valerie Jarrett explained to MSNBC, his new program is Let Girls Learn. I’m sure there was absolutely no other day he could have rolled that out.(Biden was abroad lol) And he calls Netanyahu’s timing politically suspicious?

USA Today: “President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will announce the “Let Girls Learn” initiative Tuesday afternoon at the White House.”

Obama did take time to come out to criticize his speech as nothing new.

NBC: “On the core issue, which is how do we prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon which would make it far more dangerous … the prime minister didn’t offer any viable alternatives,” Obama said.

Solomon had a famous saying too, “nothing new under the sun.” This is a man, Obama, who when running for office in 08, gave his great speech in Berlin, Germany and I don’t remember anyone yelling that “he is running for election, gasp!”

He started the Berlin speech with a phony disclaimer.

I come to Berlin as so many of my countrymen have come before. Tonight, I speak to you not as a candidate for President, but as a citizen – a proud citizen of the United States, and a fellow citizen of the world.

What average “citizen of the world” would have the venue to give a speech? But Obama has a problem with someone in office, as one of our closest allies, coming to give a speech while still running for reelection? A distraction?

Please don’t Judas me

Speaker Boehner made a weekly press release tied to the “destructive” comments from Obama’s adviser, the notorious Susan Rice.

“The president’s national security advisor says it’s destructive for the prime minister of Israel to address the United States Congress. I couldn’t disagree more,” Boehner said.

“The American people and both parties in Congress have always stood with Israel and nothing, and no one, could get in the way.” – Jerusalem Post

Well, that is no One but Obama and until now! Nothing but nothing will get in Obama’s way of talking with Iran though — even if it is destructive to everything else, and all other relationships. They are almost possessed by that.

Several Democrats have said they will skip the speech. Some said, like Obama, that it is inappropriate for Netanyahu to address the US Congress just two weeks before Israeli elections. Others said they do not want a foreign leader weighing in on US foreign affairs. – More> Jerusalem Post

Rice decries politics of Bibi’s visit

You can file this under ‘you have got to be kidding me’. Sure enough, with Susan Rice that seems to be her theme.

(Rice interview with Charlie Rose)

Well, it is the Dems who have spun this up into a political frenzy. But of course having so many Dems working behind the scenes for Netanyahu’s ouster doesn’t help their case.

Now they have a formal boycott in effect. They are politicizing the entire event. Even Biden says he will be away, unable to attend. (he’s traveling with a broad… er traveling abroad)

Rice: “We want the relationship between the United States and Israel to be unquestionably strong, immutable, regardless of political seasons in either country, regardless of which party may be in charge in either country. We’ve worked very hard to have that, and we will work very hard to maintain that.”

Worked very hard at that? She’s probably still peddling the video cause for Benghazi.

Does Susan Rice have any credibility on anything? Dems have played politics with Israel, and its security, for six years now. To say that the relationship has always been apolitical means she doesn’t understand the administration. Of course she understands, she just said that like their other lies and utterances which conflict with reality.

[on Iran] “They have enabled us to validate that they have, in fact, taken all the steps that they committed to take and that they’re in full compliance. That model will need to be sustained in any comprehensive agreement.”

Depends what they are in compliance with, doesn’t it? Validated! The irony is we have an administration and president that cannot be trusted any more than Iran, but who demands trust in making a nuclear deal with Iran. That’s specious logic. Sustained, really?

Dems in nuclear meltdown over Bibi. Now there’s a “comprehensive” disagreement.

To Bibi or not Bibi ?

Let’s talk a minute about political objectives and Netanyahu’s coming joint-session speech to Congress. So the White House suggests election politics are in play, possibly giving Bibi an upper hand. You really don’t have to look far for the hypocrisy with the left.

Now Biden signals that he will conveniently be traveling and won’t attend. There are countless Democrats now weighing their attendance on the tea leaves. Politics? It’s rife with politics on the Left, isn’t everything? In the midst of growing campaigns, mainly from Left wing activists, Dems are strategizing how to play to their anti-Israel base. Washington Democrat, Rep. Jim McDermott, will not attend.

There are lots of politics in play at the moment. Palestinians are geared up for a UN resolution against Israel. Coincidentally, there have also been demonstrations on campuses criticizing Israel. There is the BDS movement vying for its relevance, gathering support from college campuses and academia. Obama campaign operatives are working to oust Netanyahu. Now the Left calls politics/activism on Bibi’s speech to Congress. Really?

The objective is to get Bibi to back out of the speech over criticism. That would be a win from both the anti-Israel crowd and Netanyahu’s opponents. A win-win, as they say.

Consuls in U.S. warn: Israel’s friends fear Netanyahu’s speech to Congress will harm ties

“Despite the extensive criticism, Netanyahu tells group that he has no intention of backing out of the speech.”

Fatah movement calls for anti-Israel protest across Palestine

Palestinian Fatah movement has called on people across Palestine to participate in a protest against the Israeli regime.

It said the demonstration will call for boycotting Israeli products.

There was the incidental pro-Palestine resolution on UC Davis campus and the fallout.

Former prime minister of Israel, Shimon Peres, voiced his disapproval for Bibi’s speech saying, “when the President of the United States asks him not to come before elections, he must respect that request.” Peres scheduled a speech/interview at a NY university just before our midterm elections.(a global leaders lecture on ISIS and Democracy) Evidently, election politics were not a problem then. There were no big political objections then from the White House either.

Jerusalem Post:

The [Bibi] speech has created a rift amongst Democrats, Politico reported. The lawmakers are torn between supporting Israel and supporting their president whose absence from Netanyahu’s speech has been long confirmed.

Pelosi: Members Won’t ‘Boycott’ Netanyahu Speech. But They Might Be too Busy to Go.

Reps. John Lewis and G.K. Butterfield will skip the address, and Pelosi noted that lawmakers have packed schedules.

Yes, those packed schedules — after midterm election campaigns. Busy, busy, busy.
‘Choose wisely, grasshopper.’ So who is really playing politics here?

WH connections to Israeli election

When John Boehner invited Netanhahu to speak to Congress it stirred a flurry of criticism from the Left and the White House. How dare he, and without asking the Prez’s permission even?! It’s against protocol.

The excuse and reasons from the White House are usually as bad as their actions. So too with this. Obama does not want to meet with Bibi while here. They claim it is because it is an election season in Israel and they make a habit not to give even an appearance of interfering with elections.

This too gets very hairy when the truth comes out. I knew they had no love for Netanyahu, and they would not want to lend more credence to him or his electability. Assuming, as I will, that is a major reason they will not not deal with him when he comes.

Even that is worse and more erroneous. The hypocrisy just never ends with this crew of ideologues and miscreants. It turns out that Obama’s campaign gurus are actually working hard to oust Netanyahu. Oh, that’s rich at the same time they are claiming they don’t even want to give the appearance of meddling in Israeli politics. See

I knew they did not want to lend any legitimacy to Netanyahu’s leadership. But this is even more chutzpah than most people imagined. Though I can’t be surprised by anything they do. When Obama says things like all options are on the table, it is important to understand what that means, namely to him and his cohorts.

But then anyone should realize whenever Obama says something is a matter of “principle” — or law or Constitution — it is a complete ruse. (EO on Immigration)

Couple that with the intermingling of Obama operatives in Canada’s electoral process. That was highlighted in an excellent post by Blessed B at Nox and Friends.(article) Sure they are out to support opposition to leaders they don’t like. It’s clear.

Now what is also clear is that not only is their excuse about meeting with Bibi a ruse, but meddling in other countries’ politics is their forte. It’s a righteous liberal crusade to them. They pride themselves on politics. It’s like the Mafia, it is their thing. Remember the Arab Spring and Egypt, supporting the Muslim Brotherhood. There was the then Senator Obama campaigning in Africa for Raila Odinga.(which he denied)

So when they trot out that excuse of not giving the appearance of meddling in elections, know what that really means. I.e. Obama standing on a principle that doesn’t exist.

Dang that appearance

Ynet news: “As a matter of longstanding practice and principle, we do not see heads of state or candidates in close proximity to their elections, so as to avoid the appearance of influencing a democratic election in a foreign country,” National Security Council spokeswoman Bernadette Meehan said.

Yet having other leaders come to the White House and go to lobby Congress, even on national security matters, is perfectly acceptable to them. “Get over it!”

Can Obama restrain himself from casting a vote of influence? The question going forward: is his legacy and future applying his influence on elections?

During the midterms he tried to avoid having a negative impact on Democrats. And they didn’t want him around. Bad enough the ghost of Obama was everywhere. But then he made a pronouncement that all his policies or issues were very much on the ballot — right there between the lines — despite his ballot absence. He just couldn’t resist.

We saw how hard it was for him to stay out of the election process. He can’t. Is it just a sign of what’s to come: The Obama-Jarrett Roadshow? He just has special animosity for Netanyahu, Israel. Principle and Obama are not compatible.

Terrorism 101

Palestinian Incitement, Attacks, Glorification

IPT News

November 18, 2014

The recent spike in Palestinian terrorist attacks targeting Israelis throughout the country occur amid growing incitement to violence and glorification of terrorism emanating from Palestinian Authority and Fatah officials and institutions. Tuesday’s heinous attack on a Jerusalem synagogue was the “direct result” of that campaign, said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Within hours, Palestinian social media featured images glorifying the bloody slaughter of Jews while they worshiped.

What follows is a list of recent attacks and examples of the incitement and glorification prominent in Palestinian social media outlets.

Most of the violence has centered in Jerusalem, as Palestinians continue to engage in rock throwing, Molotov cocktail attacks, and rioting in the capital and surrounding neighborhoods. The following section outlines major Palestinian terrorist attacks targeting Israelis in recent weeks.

  • November 18, 2014: Two Palestinian terrorists stormed a Jerusalem synagogue armed with a meat cleaver and a gun during morning prayer, killing four Israeli rabbis and seriously injuring at least eight other worshippers. Three victims, Moshe Twersky, Aryeh Kupinsky, and Kalman Levine were dual American-Israeli citizens, and one, Avraham Goldberg, was a British-Israeli national, according to Israeli police.
  • November 10, 2014: The IDF discovered an explosive device north of Jerusalem in the West Bank, between the Jewish communities of Psagot and Beit El.
  • November 10, 2014: Palestinian terrorists stab Israelis in separate incidents, killing a young woman and a soldier. In the first incident, a Palestinian man stabbed an Israeli soldier, Almog Shilony, in Tel Aviv who later succumbed to his injuries. Police arrested the suspect, 18 year-old Nur al-Din Abu Khashiyeh, from Nablus, who was staying in Israel illegally. Hours later, another Palestinian terrorist attacked Israelis with a knife, killing a young woman, Dalia Lemkus, after stabbing her in the neck and injuring two others at a bus stop in the West Bank community of Alon Shvut. Hamas identified the Alon Shvut attacker as Maher Hamdi al-Ashalmoun from Hebron, who was released previously as a security prisoner. The Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist organization later claimed responsibility for the attack.
  • November 10, 2014: An Arab-Israeli mob attacked a car with rocks in the town of Taibe and set it on fire. An Arab-Israeli, Majdi Baloum, rescued the victim by pulling him out of his car.
  • November 6, 2014: Bullets struck an Israeli police cruiser driving north of Ramallah. There were no reported injures and security personnel searched for the shooter.
  • November 5, 2014: A Palestinian terrorist rammed his car into a crowd of Israeli pedestrians in Jerusalem killing a Border Police officer, Jidan Assad, and injuring 14 other people. A 17-year-old student later died of his injuries. The terrorist, Ibrahim al-Acri, a Hamas operative, then crashed into another group of pedestrians and got out of his car and tried to attack more civilians with a metal bar. Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack, referring to al-Acri as a “martyr” who conducted “a heroic operation.”
  • November 5, 2014: A Palestinian driver crashed into a group of IDF soldiers in the West Bank hours after a separate deadly vehicular attack in Jerusalem. One of the soldiers was wounded critically.
  • October 29, 2014: A Palestinian man shot American-Israeli Rabbi Yehuda Glick in front of Jerusalem’s Menachem Begin Heritage Center. The suspect was killed the following morning after Israeli counter-terrorism forces surrounded his house and were fired upon. Israeli police discovered evidence that the suspected terrorist was involved in the Glick shooting.
  • October 22, 2014: A suspected Hamas member crashed his car into a crowd of Israelis exiting the light rail station in Jerusalem, killing a three month-old American-Israeli girl, Chaya Zissel Braun, a woman from Ecuador, Karen Jemima Mosquera, and injuring eight others.

Attempts to goad Palestinians into a new intifada quickly evolved from the more routine mayhem (Molotov cocktails and rock throwing) to a more aggressive approach recently termed ‘car intifada.’ Art posted on Twitter urges more attacks be carried out. Among the examples:

These are the people Obama claims want peace. Abbas sends a letter to a terrorist’s family commending the perpetrator as a martyr. Obama draws a moral equivalence with that mentality? Notice Abbas has not gone out in a blaze of martyrdom himself.

What a way to spend the valuable resource of their youth.

Obama on synagogue terrorism

Obama made statement, written and verbal, on the attack in the synagogue.

The Jerusalem Post

“At this sensitive moment in Jerusalem,” the president said, “it is all the more important for Israeli and Palestinian leaders and ordinary citizens to work cooperatively together to lower tensions, reject violence, and seek a path forward towards peace.”

After releasing the written statement to the press, Obama also spoke on the attack, saying, “obviously, we condemn [it] in the strongest terms.”

“This is a tragedy for both nations, Israel and the United States,” Obama said “Too many Israelis have died. Too many Palestinians have died.

Jerusalem risks entering a “”spiral from which it is very difficult to emerge,” he added, noting patterns of violence he has witnessed across the Middle East as president. “The majority of Palestinians and Israelis overwhelmingly want peace.”

In an interview on CNN, Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations Ron Prosor condemned the attack, warning against incitement and calls for days of rage across the territories.

“If you look at today, basically, ordinary Israelis cannot find a sanctuary in a synagogue,” Prosor said. “I have to tell the American people, and everyone else, Israel is on the front line in countering terrorism. “

“If you’re not with us today,” he said, “you’ll find terrorism on your doorstep tomorrow.”

More JPost

Just unbelievable how Obama broadens it out to deaths on both sides. Someone remind him the last time they performed an attack like this it was their opening salvo to their war. They supplied their own impetus to start it.

Where does Obama get off speaking for them (as everyone) wanting peace? He cannot make a simple statement of sympathy for Israelis and our own Americans killed. That’s disturbing.

He was emotionless and passionless when he said we condemn these attacks — and he read that. Then a moral equivalence? Prosor hit the right message.
