Since an adversarial press is suddenly such a good thing….
Why is an adversarial president toward press such a bad thing?
Why is an adversarial president toward press such a bad thing?
Well, apparently ABC has taken on its wings the task of fact-checker, and accusation debunker. So move over liberal Snopes, Fact-Check, ABC wants a piece of the action.
Case in point: they are now chasing accusations conservatives have long proposed and bandied around that Obama will run a shadow government — feeding a potential coup of Trump’s White House. But those are more than rumors.
Now I would not go into all the reasons for the support of the shadow idea. Obama is certainly doing nothing to put out the accusation fires. No, in fact, he feeds them. The more you see his old guard politicos or officials out in the media, while the burrowed-in Obama loyalists leak from within the state, the more valid you have to take these charges.
Obama continually lectured people to stop believing what they see, only pay attention to what he or his media sycophants say. It worked at least on 30% of the people.
Here is ABC lecturing us not to believe the stories of a shadow government and its coup underway. What other reason would there be for the shadow entity existence, but to undermine the sitting president and his administration? A lot of work for nothing.

A fake news story making the rounds on Facebook claims in the headline that Congress is concerned that former President Barack Obama might make a “treasonous coup attempt” against President Trump — and that they’re taking steps to stop him.
It’s not true.
Though the headline screams “BREAKING: Congress Moves to STOP Obama’s Treasonous Coup Attempt Against Trump,” only parts of the story are based on facts. It’s done by seeding the story with quotes that are true, but are twisted out of context.
The original version of the article, posted on a website called Angry Patriot, has 38,000 shares. And since this fake news story’s text has been posted more than two-dozen times on other webpages, its false headline has been shared even more on social media networks.
One of the other sites, Trump Media, has a disclaimer page: “All the information on this website is published in good faith … The Trump Media does not make any warranties about the completeness, reliability and accuracy of this information.” Neither The Trump Media nor Angry Patriot sites responded to requests for comment from ABC News…./
The key point is that there’s no tie between the leaked information from U.S. intelligence agencies and former President Obama, as this fake news headline suggests.
Notice the story they are worried about is the mere accusation of a shadow government, not what it is doing. Its actions are not the story, only our interpretation of them — or what Obama’s allies do to disrupt and obstruct Trump.
Add to this the protest roll out of the “Indivisible” movement — started by 3 former Congressional Democrat staffers. Now credentialed by media as the beauty of democracy in action. (opposed to “tea-baggers,” remember?) All under a guise of Resistance.
I don’t know about you but simply stating it is not true just does not do it, at all, for me. To believe Obama is not going to take advantage of every speck of power and opportunity he can pilfer under a rock ‘requires the willing suspension of disbelief’.
This is no longer the lamestream media pretending to be objective but allying itself with deep state and all the various political operatives on the left, in the way it only dreamed it could do before — for a common end But since they share common allegiances, generally to Obama’s legacy, well, all hands on deck now. ‘We are all agents of the shadow state now.’ Shorthand, we are all Obama now. And they are all radicals now — fellow radical subversives, hell bent on undermining the administration and its goals and agenda.
Yet we are asked to believe all the accusations about Russia involvement in the Trump campaign/administration. But a lack of evidence for all their charges only adds fuel to their accusations. They attack away. So in their elite view: it’s one big Russia and Trump conspiracy, that is the problem. But Obama’s and the left’s shadow state working to undermine the administration is just a big bogus theory? Right.

Get ready for a short trip in the way-back machine to 2008.
Obama’s campaign had a series of communications with both Iran and Syria.
Malkah Fleisher, 02/02/09 | Arutz Sheva
U.S. President Barack Obama employed representatives to hold secret high-level talks with Iran and Syria months prior to his election as president.
United States President Barack Obama employed representatives and experts to hold secret high-level talks with Iran and Syria months prior to his election as president, organizers of the meetings told Agence France Presse on Monday.
Over the past few months, Obama campaign and election officials, as well as nuclear non-proliferation experts, had several “very, very high-level” contacts with Iranian leaders, according to Jeffrey Boutwell, executive director for the U.S. branch of the Pugwash group, a Nobel Prize-winning international organization of scientists. Former defense secretary William Perry, who served in Obama’s election campaign, also participated in some of the meetings, which included discussions on Iran’s nuclear program and the Arab-Israeli conflict. …/
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad affirmed the reports Monday that Obama officials had repeated contact with his country for some time prior to the U.S. elections. “Dialogue started some weeks ago in a serious manner through personalities who are close to the administration and who were dispatched by the administration,” Assad said. ../ Read more
So guess who was talking to Iran months before taking office? I don’t even want to get on the Iranian Valerie Jarrett off-ramp. No SNL skits, only a “thrill up the leg” to media.
Hearings, investigations, wire taps, outrage, Independent Counsel…. don’t be silly.
While we are in the way back machine, let us go a few decades back to 1983. Good ol’ lion of the Senate, Mary Jo Kopechne killer, Ted Kennedy made his grand invitation to the Soviet’s Communist Party, and Yuri Andropov, to come intervene in our election. A quid pro quo. Senator Kennedy was trying to challenge Reagan and needed an edge.
The Democrats are desperately diverting attention away from their rigging the nomination fight by charging that Russia is interfering in our election. But there was a time when going to Moscow to help defeat the other party didn’t seem to disturb Democrats. In fact, with the help of friendly media, the entire incident has been sent to the memory hole. Once upon a time it was revealed, but nobody outside of the conservative ghetto remembers.
So he promised Soviets wide access to the American media to make their case. But how would he assure Soviets of such unprecedented access? Well, Ted won’t be talking, nor anyone else either. Maybe we could ask his media friends? Investigations? FBI probe? Logan Act? Surely you jest.
Do not attempt to adjust your TV, there is no problem with your set. This is an actual press briefing from the White House, do not be alarmed!
Since media has been so used to being spoon-fed their talking points from the Press room — speaking that liberal code language they’re all versed in — an actual, real press briefing is so out of the ordinary. The WH may add press passes for four Skype connections.
Obama’s old system will be exactly reversed: scripted talking points will come from hostile media in an attempt to put up a united front against the WH. That is backwards from the top-down flow, Obama model from the White House that successfully tried to manipulate news coverage. Just like darling sycophants, they followed in lockstep.
Obama, when leaving, left his instructions for how toughly media should cover Trump — knowing full well how his WH press corps treated him. Both Obama and press/media had gotten so used to their cozy relationship. Of course they did not want that to change. Try to imagine what a press briefing under Hillary Clinton would have looked like, complete with cake and all the party favors. And they could safely ignore their job, once again.
Okay, which one had more negative effects and impact on the election:
(A) hacks and wikilleaks’ dumps of a couple email accounts connected to Hillary Clinton
(and so-called Russian intervention in the election via influencing voters) OR
(B)the hyper-radicalized media coverage attacking Trump 24/7 for over 9 months ?
(while dumbing down coverage by ignoring criticisms / record of Hillary Clinton)
You decide. Shall we examine the headlines and press pages, too? Mo’ investigation!

First, the story is the beating and treatment of the white teenager by 4 black Chicago Trump-haters. Everyone probably heard the story by now. Exhibit A for disgusting.
They discuss the crime on CNN and what happens? All hell breaks loose? No. Someone labels it an evil act but no, again, Don Lemon has to take issue with that term. Hate crime? No, they don’t like that term either.
Tied up, tortured and beaten…. just some bad rearing. Really?
In the wake of the horrific torture of a white man with special needs by four black suspects — which was live-streamed on Facebook — a panelist on Don Lemon’s CNN show called the act “evil.”
“You just try to wrap your head around evil,” Matt Lewis of the Daily Caller told Lemon on Wednesday night. “That’s what this is. It’s evil. It’s brutality. It’s man’s inhumanity to man.”
But Lemon took issue with that assessment.
“I don’t think it’s evil. I don’t think it’s evil,” Lemon responded. “I think these are young people, and I think they have bad home training.”
The host continued:
And I say, “Who’s raising these young people?” I have no idea who’s raising these young people, because no one I know on earth who is 17 years old or 70 years old would ever think of treating another person like that. It is inhumane. And you wonder, at 18 years old, where’s your parent? Where’s your guardian?
Don Lemon takes the award for journalism bias. He’s trying to keep his stellar record going. “Where’s your guardian?” They are 18 yr-olds and older. Where’s yours, Don?
That was not even the whole problem on CNN. He had another guest besides Lewis. A black woman who insisted this should not be considered a hate crime, as if we don’t know and can’t hear for ourselves what they did. She argued with Lewis.
She went on to state that it is different for black people, who suffered a long history of abuse etc in America. She complained it is wrong to overuse that term and charge. Well, maybe there is another award for her. Does being black excuse what they did? Does it disqualify them from being charged with a hate crime? Lewis called it evil.
Then Lemon chimed in with the “I don’t think it is evil” line. The same people who see “structural racism” everywhere, and an inherent evil in it, cannot see or at least define evil even when watching it take place on a video, which was streamed live.
But they just can’t get there to this hate crime and evil thing.
Welcome to the truth inside the Hillary campaign. (video)
What about the protest at the Chicago Trump rally? Well, surprise. (which is no surprise)
It doesn’t matter about legal… or ethics, we need to win this M-Fer.
We knew they were behind all this radicalism, but it is what they do.
Ever heard of Democracy Partners? Oh, the dark Hillary campaign that no media dares report on. Alive and thriving via Hillary’s campaign.
Sometimes the crazies bite…. sometimes they don’t. Portraying people as psychotic…. all sinister dark creatures of Hillary’s campaign.
“We want it coming from the people, not the Party.”
“We’re starting anarchy here.”
What happened to when news was news instead of a campaign narrative or talking points? No more, those days are gone. Treated to a constant stream of “news” bias, it’s hard to have any confidence in their news at all, on anything. Sliced and diced in their political filters, they dispense it like candy. Public confidence in it takes a hit.
What else is gone is any hint of objectivity. Wiki Leaks purged emails on Friday and within an hour a hot and ‘salacious’ tape appeared about Trump. It was private statements from a decade ago. A Hurricane running up the East Coast and the news shifted to “breaking news” of the Trump tape. So much for real, hard news. But the hurricane coverage does take precedence over Hillary’s Wiki Leaks story. I see what they did there.
Immediately an interjection came from John Podesta saying that Russia, likely behind the hacks, could have altered the emails. But how likely is that? So Podesta has a huge problem, it appears Wiki Leaks has so much more credibility than his own candidate.
It was your candidate who scrubbed and deleted 30 thousand emails, and had the State Department altering classification codes to suit their purpose. I’d go with Wiki hands down over a forgery claim. Funny thing about credibility, when it’s gone it’s gone.
Let’s not forget the Clintons’ Decade of Decadence and Hillary’s decade of destroying women. We learned a lot in the 90’s, didn’t we? The philosophy of “is” was critical to our intellectual acumen. We learned that impeachment was an ideal but highly unlikely. Now that we know that, we don’t even much question that route for Obama. It’s so like nineties, and we’ve “Moved On”. Sometimes news is no news.
The news that comes out now is time released like a pharmaceutical. It’s waiting to go off at the right political moment. News becomes ammunition to create the right ambience when needed. Collect it like baseball cards and trade it. Like everything else that has been politicized by the Left: government, national security, medical coverage, media, and even sports followed suit. News must fit their agenda.
There was a train wreck in Hoboken last week. The train came in at about twice the speed limit and showed no sign of breaking. Well, it wasn’t pretty. Black boxes will tell the story, they hope. One apparently was not functioning. But investigators will get to the bottom of it, surely, sometime. It just shouldn’t have happened, yet it did.
Our election is shaping up a lot like that train wreck. Trump came in too fast and didn’t apply the breaks as they suggested. They weren’t prepared for the fallout. It’s not pretty, but politics and train wrecks rarely are. They are both studied for the same reason, to try to avoid future damage.
Trump is no student of politics nor of standard operating procedures. He plotted his own route. But his plan was not the usual one. It was meant to interrupt the system, and it did. It was meant to derail the establishment control. We decided that, at some point, having all the estabishement running on time, per plan, was not the most efficient system. Corruption just breeds more corruption, and corruption breeds contempt. The wreck was inevitable.

I look forward to and enjoy the debates as much as anyone. They are informative and have a place. But they are only one part in the whole process. Like everything else, we see how biased or corrupted they can be. Politicized, for sure, but have they outlived their status?
I mean what else would we expect? It is their system, the establishment likes its control and uses it every way they can. So debates are one of their tentacles. They own it.
However, in case the elite inside, power-control estabos — who know better than the people — have not noticed, the people have been having a debate from the beginning. That’s the real debate, a referendum on them. Estabos do not like that one at all.
So if they haven’t noticed by now, we have come to a few conclusions too. The status quo has got to go. The ruling class told us we are irrelevant and what we want doesn’t matter. They tell us what issues are important. And they tell us how we should vote. That’s the way it is done, they say. Our vote must be based on
others’ their choice and endorsements.
While we had this kick down dragged out debate this far, they’ve opposed the will of the people every step. They didn’t notice we won every round. People are fed up. We get faux hearings about phony responsibility with no accountability. Nothing short of that is on their menu now. The establishment is insulted that we dare resist their status quo bargain.
These days they complain about “structural racism” inherent in all places, yet they have a structural bias in the whole election process — from establishment to media — just as they have in government. That structuralism doesn’t bother them one bit, they thrive on it.
Now this elite status-quo is using the race card in every way to keep their establishment in control of the process to control the results. Then the debate injects the label of racist even into the debate. They play the gender card in the same way. Put that together with the smear tactics and you have a structural establishment cocktail to destroy any opposition to it. That’s their plan. Some value debates mey have, but they change nothing.
Under that light, what do even the debates really mean? Use the debates to screw us? What’s new? It’s better not to bestow any more value on them than they deserve — consider the source.

A new organization wants to call the progress of elections, the winning or losing in chosen areas, in real time as it happens.
Depending on your preference for more information, you may disagree or agree with what they are doing. I don’t happen to like it. Much of it is based on modeling etc.
New York Times: Real-Time Election Day Projections – By Nick Corasaniti
PALO ALTO, Calif. — Now, a group of data scientists, journalists and Silicon Valley entrepreneurs is seeking to upend that reporting tradition, providing detailed projections of who is winning at any given time on Election Day in key swing states, and updating the information in real time from dawn to dusk.
The plan is likely to cause a stir among those involved in reporting election results and in political circles, who worry about both accuracy and an adverse effect on how people vote. [More]
The spokesman has been promoting their system as an announcer of a ball game. That sounds quaint, doesn’t it?
The problem I have is he wants us to think of it as just calling the “play by play” without accepting any responsibility for its influence on results.
He claimed it is still up to press or media to call the final result. Yes, but in a way that is what he is doing all along. People can then be influenced or react based on their coverage. And we already see enough media involvement with the elections.
I never thought or expected to see the day that the collective press/media would become a chief adversary, even an enemy, but that day is here.
Well, it is just happened to really hit me that way. Regardless of all our problems, government corruptions and failures, the “press” has now positioned itself in such a way that it is a chief adversary (if not the foremost one) and just a tool of the power.
Sort of scary. One can look at all the reasons and motivations. That is one hell of a revelation to come to terms with. I thought I had witnessed many problems before.
We know all that stuff about the idea and main purpose of the press — the ideal. However, it made itself into this hyper-politicized, bias oriented institution in general. They’ve picked their side, the battle lines have been drawn. We’ve defined the battlefield and the strategy is unfolding before our eyes. It not only applies to politics but it is an ideological adversary — even a radical one.
Not a scenario I had expected to this operational level. The saying is know your enemy. What happens when the press/media finally becomes a determined enemy of the people? Couple that predicament with the most critically import election of our time.
This was on top of another observation a while back that we don’t really have a free press. So I wondered, after these many years, maybe the press did not want to be free after all? Not anymore anyway. That used to be a major difference we had to other places.

It’s about time. Maybe at least it will end his commentary supporting Islamic radicalism?
By Bryony Jones, CNN — Bryony Jones is a journalist at CNN International in London.
(CNN)A notorious hate preacher who led a flag-burning demonstration outside the US embassy on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and voiced support for jihad has been convicted of inviting support for ISIS.
Anjem Choudary, 49, has courted controversy over two decades, skirting the edges of the law, backing extremism but with no proof of actually inciting violence. He earned the wrath of Britain’s tabloid newspapers, making him – by his own admission — the country’s “most hated man.”
In 2014, he pledged allegiance to ISIS and its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, bringing him under scrutiny and leading to his arrest. […./] “
But the sentence is only up to ten years. Is it time for life sentences in these cases? This does seem punitive, when they can also have a radical recruitment effect in prison.

Conservative columnist and commentator George Will announced that he is no longer a registered Republican after changing his Maryland registration from the GOP to “unaffiliated.”
“I’m an unaffiliated voter in the state of Maryland,” Will told PJ Media in an interview.
“This is not my party,” Will said during a speech beforehand to the Federalist Society. He also reportedly said that House Speaker Paul Ryan’s decision to endorse Trump was part of why he left the party.
Will said he isn’t sure whether he’ll vote for Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson. And he offered up a plan for conservatives to follow who don’t plan to support Donald Trump.
“Make sure he loses,” said Will, a Fox News contributor. “Grit their teeth for four years and win the White House.”

Asked if American media appear to be aggressively pushing a particular narrative, specifically gun control in light of the recent terrorism in Orlando, Attkisson said:
I think they’ve been pushing narratives a lot for the last couple of years in a way I haven’t seen five years ago … ten years ago, for sure. It’s almost like someone’s given a license at the top. It used to be done kind of subtly, but now it’s sort of encouraged. It’s almost as if everybody’s on the same page now. I think it’s inappropriate. I think that different views should be represented. It doesn’t have to be 50-50 every time that every story has to be given equal time. But over time, different views should be heard, and we just don’t hear that anymore.
“I just got back from a conference in Russia, of all places, where global journalists gathered to talk about this as a trend globally, where government interests, corporate interests, special interests have learned how to use the news media,”Attkisson said, “how to use social media to control the narrative in ways, I think, more aggressively than has ever been done before.”
As for reporters, she asserted:
When they veer from the narrative that’s trying to be established by whatever power that exists, they’re controversialized, they’re bullied, they’re driven out of the mainstream. It’s a global trend. Whoever is trying to control the narrative has figured this out. They’re applying similar techniques around the world, and it’s certainly happening here in the United States.
Concerning public safety, Attkisson recently reported on Full Measure that Cleveland appears to be completely unprepared to host the upcoming GOP convention: “The head of policing said they’re not prepared; they haven’t been trained.”
There is a complete disconnect between what the city official said is the preparation level and what the police said is the preparation level, and the head of the police unit said he’s worried his guys are going to get hurt, and they don’t have the equipment they expect. They fully think they’re going to be inundated with violent protesters because that’s what’s happened at other Trump events. So there’s concern there.
The full list of Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson shows can be found here. “There is fascinating stuff there you will not see on any other program,” said Attkisson.

The media don’t seem willing to talk about Democrats, not accurately anyway. All the attention is on Republicans and their dysfunction in the election, as they see it.
Just about anyone who is influential in the far left — which is just a euphemism for the active Democrat base — probably attended the 3-day Summit. But absent by reason of non-invitation was one Hillary Clinton.
The uber-liberal pundit Ellis Henican said on CNN over the weekend the Democrats have a hairline fracture but the Republicans have a canyon in their Party. Oh really? Totally dismiss the fight going on in the Left but drum up the revolution going on in the Republican Party, as they all portray it. There is so much distrust and vitriol for Hillary on the Left. Many of Bernie’s people have said they would not vote for her. Her scandals go way back, her self-serving interests do as well. The only one who benefits around Hillary is Hillary.
But the disdain for Hillary is not the whole problem. There is a giant fight on the left. Socialist Bernie was the only one who excited them. Hillary is part of the past and liberal Democrats have progressed far past the Clinton days. Bernie even calls his movement a political revolution. Is that a chorus of Kum ba yah? Add to it Hillary’s legal circumstances and investigation. So the unity and lockstep in the Democrat Party is pretty fractured. Then add all their emotional baggage and positioning to that.
This weekend’s meeting is exhibit A of the deep division in the Left between all out communism, socialism with their shelf-brand covert “progressive” politics. There is a lot of friction and many of them want to state their communist goals openly, proudly. They are tired of being closeted Marxists. They want to scream it from the rooftops. And their bitterness now for those less verbal progressives is fierce. Hillary, to them, is not far enough to the Left. But many of them don’t know just how far left Hillary is. The fact that she is not good enough should tell us a lot. It is even past Bernie, he was just a vehicle.
Media turned their attention to everyone else this election, allowing Bernie and his people to claim their territory, which is the actual base of the Democrat Party, They’ve taken control. Media took its cue from Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, Jennifer Granholm, with David Brock and Axelrod thrown in. Even Hillary’s surrogates are shaken by Bernie supporters’ fierce confrontation whenever they meet. But media has not played that up. It pretends that everything is flowers and rainbows on the Left.
Though all you hear from Liberals, Democrats and media is about the dysfunction of the Republican Party and how it is in all out war and total meltdown. Get the message? Only Repubs have internal problems. Only they have wide areas of disagreement. So now that it is obviously clear beyond any doubt about the bias of media, turn on the TV and you will hear a steady harping about the Republican war. You’ll be treated to non-stop coverage about Donald Trump. For anyone who thinks all media coverage of Trump is a positive for him, I have a few bridges to sell them. That coupled with the Left-wing punditry amounts to a constant and continuous attack on Trump.
Right, Trump is being attacked from every direction. If you cannot see that then you aren’t looking. Hillary totally drifts off the radar, whatever it is she is doing.
Enter Fareed Zakaria’s GPS program
A real example of this is CNN’s Fareed Zakaria, who fashions himself a world dignitary and influential journalist. (read global advocacy journalist) He does an exclusive interview with Vladimir Putin, with other leaders on the stage. First question right off is “are we entering a new cold war?” Putin navigates through that. Then he asks about compliments Putin paid to Trump and got a few laughs. That opened the door for Putin to shred Fareed appearing to embarrass him. That wasn’t the plan. Then Vladamir went on to criticize our election process while Americans preach democracy. So he turned that right around on Zakaria.
Then Putin cleaned up his negative remarks on Hillary after Fareed brought them up.
That’s why Fareed is a good example, straight for the political as if by impulse. In fact, he opened his show with a monologue about guess who? Donald Trump. He asked where all the great Republican leaders, former cabinet members, were on signing the latest Never Trump pledge? He castigated the silent ones. He called on McCain to preserve his honor by signing it. Who made Fareed leader of the Never Trump Train? We know what he is trying to do, push Trump out and marginalize him. He had no shame directly doing it.
So is it any surprise he goes to Russia trying to use Putin to make a public laughing stock of Trump, and humiliate him in front of world leaders? Putin didn’t bite. That reminded me of the old Ted Kennedy communique to Andropov to undermine Reagan in the ’84 election. Kennedy and his pals promised Russians a media stage here if they would come to undermine Reagan’s campaign. Or in effect to campaign for Ted. Russians declined the offer. Fareed’s Putin interview was in the same vein.
He must be aware of all that, the Russians are, but it didn’t stop him. As media, Fareed went over there to stir up some Russian discontent for Trump – or at least to mock him.. Putin was not lured into being used as a tool of the Democrat Left. Putin claimed they stay out of foreign elections. However, Zakaria was soliciting and inviting their input.
Then Fareed went a step further playing the woman card with Putin and other leaders. What would they think of having a woman leader, with the not so subtle reference to their thoughts on Clinton being the first female US President? They brushed off the real question about Hillary while saying they have well-qualified women in their countries.
Now how bad has this election gotten, and how bad has the media coverage of it gotten? They prove there are no limits to which they won’t go to influence this election — whatever it takes. They found their whipping post, Trump, to collectively attack. No critiques about a woman who should be up on charges. But everyone from DNC to media, even supporters, ignores anything about Hillary as a non-issue. Actually, she claims as well to be the most transparent person, and fully vetted. However, she only ran in the 08 primary but was not vetted in the general election. She skipped that part. Now they give her a pass because, well, she’s also a woman. Did I mention that? She is the anointed nominee.
Now, even many Democrats see the fallacy with this whole charade for Hillary. Bernie was supposed to be just a placeholder for an opponent. Turned out he was way more than that. Turns out there is much conflict, turmoil, anger and unrest in the Democrat Party. They’re already in the red zone, in more than one way.

If Beck thought all publicity is good publicity, he is probably rethinking that doctrine.
May 31, 2016 | John Binder | BizPac Review
The suspension came after [author Brad]Thor said on Beck’s program that a “patriot” should “step up” and “remove” Trump, first reported by Mike Cernovich’s blog Danger and Play.
“I am about to suggest something very bad….” Thor said on Beck’s program. “With the feckless, spineless Congress we have, who will stand in the way of Donald Trump overstepping his constitutional authority as President? If Congress won’t remove him from office, what patriot will step up and do that? … I don’t think there is a legal means available. I think it will be a terrible, terrible position the American people will be in to get Trump out of office, because you won’t be able to do it through Congress.”
The National Association of Collective Hypocrites has run out now with an army to dig up stories and information on Trump. Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos told his Washington Post to dig up everything they can find on Trump, “doing articles about every phase of his life.”
From what Bob Woodward admitted to Fox, the Bezos mandate is a political initiative to influence the ballot box. He warns that people must have access to all information about Trump before going into the voting booth. “The New York real estate world is more complex than the CIA,” Woodward says. Complexity is a rationale.
But they unabashedly stomped all over the news on Barack Obama, even on Hillary. Instead of digging and putting information out there, they played a game of wack-a-mole waiting for any critical stories about Obama to surface and then aggressively beat them down, collectively. Rhodes and Gruber both confirmed media’s role.
They outright refused to vett him, dismissing or completely ignoring huge stories like Constitutional qualifications or his birth certificate. They operated under the assumption that we must prove he is not qualified rather than actually vetting him for people to decide. Media either did not want people to know or have fundamental questions about Obama. They wanted everyone on board with their narrative of a historical election — reassuring serfs that all was well in their kingdom. “Complexity” then was their excuse.
Only racists cared about Obama’s history or life. Only racist bigots cared about his qualifications. He tried writing two biographies just to keep people from concentrating on his disturbing history. Obama called people bitter clingers. Then the media buried anything critical of him. Revisionists were in high demand.
Imagine if Ben Franklin were around to see what they did? They abdicated their duty and wanted people to go into the voting booth without critical information about Obama. They wanted people to ignore basic questions and information — the dumber the better. And once elected, they declared the time for questioning was over. They told us the American people elected him. They told us the information was out there but we elected him anyway. They put a an exclamation point at the end of the sentence. “Game over!”
Old Ben would be shocked that the modern press apparatus collectively took a pass to vet or cover Obama with anything near a hint of objectivity. He’d wonder how they could intentionally do that and what their real purpose was for doing it?
So now we have a citizenry fed up with the elite political establishment, but secondly just as fed up with the mainstream media agenda. Oh right, they are one and the same now — another thing Franklin would find fascinating and troubling. That this collective cabal would essentially decide who our president should be and that voters would be putty or pawns in media’s hands.
Now the National Association of Collective Hypocrites pulls out their rule book to say it is their job to dig into every faucet of one’s life and expose all the character flaws of the candidate. Anything short of that would be dereliction of their duty. And they’ll tell us the public demands it and nothing less. We could not shame them into vetting or questioning Obama. They can’t even report on what he has done in office. Instead, like Rhodes claimed, the press are only echo chambers for the administration. But truth about Obama’s agenda could be toxic and even hazardous to the press — thou shalt not be critical of Obama.

Overzealous? This is the guy who was basically damning people to hell if they didn’t vote for Ted Cruz. Beck is kissing ass to get some of that fine Facebook money for future ventures, and to hook up with Mark Zuckerberg and enjoy the access to his rich and powerful connections that comes with it. Yes, Beck is selling out conservative values for cash. Which tells you everything you need to know about his sincerity as a conservative. And the god he really gets on his knees for: money.
Excerpted from The Hill: Radio host Glenn Beck is criticizing some of the other conservatives who joined him at a meeting with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg over allegations of political bias at the social media giant.
Beck accused other conservatives in the room of being overzealous in their efforts to get the company to respond to their concerns. …/
So Beck and his incredible shrinking relevance is sucking up to Facebook. Who’da thunk it? Well, that puts to rest any remaining question about his lack of principles, or his sanity.
Blaming TV for Trump success. Well, what have they not blamed Trump for?
Media demise and the death of journalism is high on the long list.
Politico: Why I blame TV for Trump — Campbell Brown
My friends in the TV news business are in a state of despair about Donald Trump, even as their bosses in the boardroom are giddy over what he’s doing for their once sagging ratings.
“It feels like it’s over,” one old friend from my television days told me recently. Any hope of practicing real journalism on TV is really, finally finished. “Look, we’ve always done a lot of stupid shit to get ratings. But now it’s like we’ve just given up and literally handed over control hoping he’ll save us. It’s pathetic, and I feel like hell.” Said another friend covering the presidential campaign for cable news, “I am swilling antidepressants trying to figure out what to do with my life when this is over.”

Well, I hate to bust a gaping hole in her balloon but there is another side. First of all, they gave Obama a lot of media time. Whenever his campaign was speaking, they gave them plenty of time keeping questions on the puffy side. Well, I remember. Media was Obama’s best line of defense, which is why he still expects their loyalty now.
But with Trump it is a different sort of thing. Sure he is good for their ratings, because public interest is driving it — not the media driven news by what they want us to see, like Obama coverage. And that is where so many people pronounced journalism dead…or at least on life support. But they were too stupid to realize it. They didn’t care.
They sacrificed journalism for political ideology. Politics won, we lost. They left any hard news stories to others like the web. Real journalism took a backseat to politics, entertaining news, or almost anything but. And now they want to blame it all on Trump. Their lack of credibility is Trump’s fault.
Funny how they wanted to revive journalism almost as soon as they saw Trump enter the arena. Is it Trump’s fault that he has a strategy to play that game?
Media and journalists have come out swinging at Trump. It has not had the effect it always had with other candidates. They could not just grind him up and dispose of him. They all thought his shelf life would be short-lived. Media strategists were wrong every time.
So now they are waking up to see journalism is all but gone. It took them long enough. However, now that they are doing their level best to cast their vote every day in the press, their influence is failing. That is the problem. They forfeited any credibility they had years ago, now they want their influence back.
So we knew it all the time, we were being lied to. It was always obvious. But now Obama adviser Ben Rhodes comes out to publicly rub the media’s nose in it, much the same way that Jonathan Gruber delighted in our gullibility as the reason for passing Obamacare.
Everyone knows that Rhodes is basically a fiction writer, a talent that really has come in handy for the Obama administration. When you have your own in-house fiction writer, it makes lots of things easier than they would be — like lying.

An extraordinary profile of senior White House adviser Ben Rhodes, published in the New York Times on Thursday, was very revealing about President Obama. It told a complicated story of how an administration that the president promised would be the most transparent in history prides itself on successful manipulation of journalists.
The critical insight of the story is about the Obama administration’s dishonesty in selling the Iran nuclear deal to the public. It turns out, for example, that the story carried by the press about the Iran deal being possible because of the election of a more moderate government in Tehran, was made up. It was a fiction, as various actual experts on the subject warned at the time. That is, in real terms, it was a lie. The deal was in fact already in the works in 2012, a year earlier than anyone knew. /…
How does someone like Rhodes manipulate the press? It’s like taking candy from a baby.
And take it they will…as often as they can.
What good is lying and deceiving people if, in the end, you cannot publicly rub it in their faces? Rhodes is a pretty dumb banana himself, but that doesn’t prevent him from fooling others to claim how intelligent he and they are. So… “It’s the stupid media, people.”
