Kabul Attack Victims

In the aftermath of the attack on the Kabul Airport, we are learning some names of victims killed. There were 10 Marines, 1 Navy corpsman.

So far some of the young personnel were named, with one woman being Marine Sgt. Nicole Gee, who was 23 years old.

For some reason it conjured up an old Dr Hook song from the 70’s, but I don’t really know why? Anyway here it is, “Sylvia’s Mother”. It was a biographical song by the writer.

Karma Calling: Another Crisis Created By Joe Biden

What we have seen boils down to this: there were likely many scenarios, which could have played out in the Afghanistan and the pullout. All kinds of possibilities. (though they have severely, conveniently narrowed in recent weeks.) But of all possibilities, it is as if Joe picked the one with the very worst outcome and said, “let’s do this one.” And no one could begrudge Biden of his choice. Okay, that is the only thing that makes sense to me.

And why he did it, this way with all its consequences, could be a whole other matter.

We could all debate the origination of the war in Afghanistan and the strategy, too. All a fruitless exercise now.  But the one thing we always knew was that Democrats and their rabid base of commie lovers never wanted to be in Afghanistan anyway.

But then to plug in this set of events, which were solely of Biden’s making, would be like vacating the world of cause and effect and taking up residence somewhere on the moon, far removed from and oblivious to it all.

Motives maybe don’t even matter as much as the liability of their consecutive decisions. It’s like Joe was told of all the possibilities, but he did it anyway. So we now left the comfort of coincidence and entered the ugly land of malicious intent, once again. It appears to be a pattern of all these created crises, self-fulfilled as they are. But now there is no patina of mistaken error about it and no question that he chose this route. Malicious intent.

I can think of no less than 3 books on the topic of Afghanistan and war still to be written because they are not finished screwing it up yet . But the results of those won’t matter because results and consequences are no longer relevant.

In an interview with George Stephanopoulos, Biden declared their plan was undetermined by and irregardless of any real conditions on the ground. The more their plan unfolded the more they had to ignore those consequences. That is exactly opposite what Trump had in mind and planned. To ignore conditions is pure stupidity. Then we are back to why?

Chair of Joint Chiefs, General Mark Milley said this is not the time for after action reports. No? It seems like exactly the right time for it, if it is to have any affect on correcting the problems. And accountability starts with marching his arrogant fat ass out and Secretary Lloyd Austin behind him, with Sullivan and Blinken bringing up the rear. That is just for starters. Don’t even try to call that white rage!

According to retired General McGregor, the justified firing of the top tier presents the other problem: a line of replacements like them are waiting in the wings to take over. Could we do any worse than this bunch?

But what is accountability anyway if it is not frequently exercised? I can think of no better case and time for it than now. They have already disgraced themselves and the country they are sworn to protect. Was it for political reasons? Was it for self-interested reasons? We may never know in full. Right now, though, they all stand more as a liability than an asset to this country – no matter what their experience has been. In fact, in spite of their vast experiences, if they could do this, then they really do need to go. It’s obvious.

You see, everything now, in any logical sense, points south in conduct and motive. We don’t even need a complete after-action report, or some study. Accountability has to happen immediately. Do you think if these were Chinese or Russian military officials there would be any wait and investigate? These people had our military on stand down to purge political opposition. Instead of standing down, they needed to be standing up to the critical mission in front of them — not criticizing former presidents or those who supported him.

Joe also said that it was always going to be chaotic, no matter when this took place. Well, Joe, did you make any attempt to make it less chaotic or less treasonous? No, once again, Joe Biden had to pick the worst time and worst of possible options to do this. Mistake? I don’t think so.

And then he made an 85 billion dollar gift to the Taliban for a house-warming present. His excuses are even worse than what he did. He telegraphed what he was going to do, ruled out the relevance of any conditions, then is surprised by the outcome? Nope. Actually, if you listen to Joe that much is right, he is not surprised. He has no regrets.

I’m to the point of believing – never mind Biden’s failing state – that this was all the outcome or result Biden and at least some of the top tier wanted. Did they think it would all be blamed on Trump? Did they do it as a gift to China and our enemies? The latter sounds as logical as the former.

Apply logic and reasoning and other possibilities evaporate like a mud puddle. Disgraced.

Almost as if Joe wants to make damn sure we cannot put America, or our people, first whether they are citizens or military. Biden Inc. just wrote another chapter. Joe is immoral to his core. He’s not just a miserable screw up or cognitive mess of incompetence, he’s a traitor. It’s clear. He may be in decline but hasn’t forgotten how to deceive his country.

Politics Of Warfare

I am reserving most of my commentary on Operation Exit until after it is complete because I have the privilege of doing that, as a private citizen. But that is the same formula this administration is following, or trying to, without the privilege.

They can’t tell us what is going on; it could require honesty and maybe accountability. Both of which are completely MIA from this crew.

For months I have referred to the Left and the administration as the American Taliban. In the unfolding Afghanistan pullout story, there are many obvious similarities with very few tactical differences between them.

So Biden’s chaotic pullout in Afghanistan, to remove 2,500 troops, has somehow morphed into a surge of 6,000 troops into Afghanistan to facilitate the pullout. Does this make any rational sense under any kind of rules of conduct? Is that leadership?

But Joe Biden is immoral to the core, so expecting him to make a morality-based decision even for our troops is certainly unwarranted. Instead, he is off on a respite for a vacation after only 7 months. Jen Psaki also has gone on vacation. It has a Benghazi feel to it.

However, based on just what we have seen to this point, any sane person would have to be calling for the resignations or firing of the complete top advisers and planners in this fiasco. That starts with Chairman of Joint Chiefs, Gen. Mark Milley, Sec. of Defense Lloyd Austin, Sec.of State Blinken, National Security adviser Jake Sullivan for openers. But Biden is a given how he botched any planning process. None of them have any credibility.

Saigon Biden is to blame at the top. He quickly lashed out trying to blame Trump for the withdrawal policy. Except that Biden was in office dealing with Afghanistan for 8 years prior to Trump, while fleecing America’s interests to line his own pockets. Sound like anyone else? Yes, the similarities of Joe to the President of Afghanistan are stunning. Both showed what they are made of in a crisis they created. Both are corrupt.

That Biden had his entire administration participate in what is now Biden 2.0, the return of incompetence, says it all.

Probably the best metaphor for what happened was in the last few days, during a storm in DC. The Washington Monument was struck directly by a lightening bolt in a stunning visual. They closed it for repair afterward, but it was an amazing message about the state of affairs in Washington.

All while the shit was hitting the fan in Kabul, Joe ran off on vacation to Camp David. He had to be extracted from that to return to give a statement he obviously didn’t write himself. It was about as heartfelt as a B-52, he carpet-bombed everyone else for what happened without taking real responsibility.

Oh sure, he mouthed the words that the buck stops with him and that he is responsible. A laughable moment reminiscent of Hillary Clinton taking full responsibility for Benghazi while hiding and evading it.

Then again, as we are reminded of who and what the Taliban are, now you see one reason I call them the American Taliban. I do have one other thing to add. I have seen and heard enough from Saigon Biden about everything. His immoral incompetence is glaringly obvious. Meanwhile, hiding the lying Saigon Biden is getting harder and harder. The lines are blurred between politics and warfare, to the left. Both require the same tactics.

Under Siege: Martial Law Continues

Democracy now means Martial Law. There are over 10k troops in DC to explain that. Usually, when the guard is dispatched, when the threat dissipates so does the guard.

But not in this case. They are there for an important reason, image. To show you we are under Martial Law and very much at risk. (apparently from Americans).

Do they want us to think that the process, government, our democratic process are all in such dysfunctional shape that they need to have the Guard stabilize the system? Yes.

That image is important to remind people. When they hold an impeachment of a former president, they need the image of the guard to remind you of this huge threat.

The irony is that if Trump had called out the guard, they would have called it Martial Law that minute, saying it was for his personal use. You know that because they were warning us a month before inauguration that Trump was going to do exactly that.

Now they declare that Martial Law is the new democracy. But there is another cynical tactic here. Who called the guard? Since when is Christopher Wray in charge of calling out the National Guard. That is the essence of this. Where did he get that power? He stated over-hyped threats and, voila, out comes the guard.

This doesn’t seem to bother Joe Biden though, since he is now president and Commander-In-Chief. Or is someone else? Who handed that off to Chris Wray and the FBI?

Free speech and the First Amendment are also under assault. And crickets are chirping on the Left. It suits them and the administration just fine. A nation under siege.

Cancel culture and their army of proxies will enforce and defend their edicts.
Resistance has officially been abolished.

I’m not sure how other people measure their disgust on the sliding scale but I know how I qualify my own. It has only been tested in recent events.

This week I had a short phone conversation with an acquaintance I’ve known for years. Everything was fine until at the end the person said I just hope we can do what we need to do not to re-elect this guy and he has to be voted out of office. That’s it, nothing about who else was running. Just throw Trump out of the White House.

I restrained from politics with this person, as I always have. It’s pointless. However, I could not resist suggesting, “careful what you wish for.” What do you mean” came a predictable response. I said “that alternative could be much worse.” So the conversation ended on that note with the person wondering what it meant. I thought it was fairly clear.

But isn’t that the point? They never consider alternatives or anything else for that matter. They know what they want. I could say what I want, too, but what good does that do?

That is the way it is with many people. No reasoned approach on what gets them to their conclusion. You can’t really have a dialogue with that. So I decided maybe I would put it in writing rather than waste my time. It is clear the person did not want to hear opposition.

It reminds me of the cancel culture. All they know is they want someone out, or marginalized from society. Somehow that goal fits their agenda and satisfies them. What a horrible way to view things, just cancel anything you don’t like or agree with.

Where does that power come from? It is part of mob mentality, meaning their voice and desire outweighs you or your views. And in the end, they cannot tolerate your view, belief or whatever – or you personally. It must go.

Now with the presidential race, they want to go backward and return to some euphoric Obama-Biden days. But the rest of us made it through and survived those years.

No, it was not easy.That was no picnic.

But we didn’t have a coup against the sitting president; no special counsel investigation of him; no one raking over of all his personal records; no public boycotts of anything to do with him; we didn’t prevent him from doing the job. And there was no impeachment designed and plotted from day one to oust him from office.

No riots and burning buildings with tens of thousands of decoys marching in the street. No attacks on Obama supporters. No band of people within government secretly working to undermine Obama’s administration. No courts lodging edicts to stop him. No press and media attacking him and Biden nonstop to delegitimize his election or presidency.

No sedition in the form of “resistance” to overthrow him.. No debate about the use of the 25th amendment to have him removed. No one telling people to “get in their faces” of Obama supporters, create a crowd and tell them they are not welcome in public.

No constant calls for impeachment from house members. No ripping up his State of the Union Speech in Congress. No games about preventing him from giving his SOTUS. No power plays to remove powers of the Constitutional presidency. No FBI executing phony FISA warrants and spying on him as a candidate and then as president. No surveillance of Obama’s team, and to frame him as a traitor to America.

No official of the DOJ refusing to follow and enforce executive orders or laws. No agenda to prevent President Obama from seeking or hiring people. No secretly telling other countries not to cooperate or work with the sitting president. No conspiring against him. No undermining of Obama as commander-in-chief within the military or Pentagon – or in the ranks. No working to undermine US military objectives by officials or former diplomats.

That would be only a starting point of the differences and what we endured for eight years as opposed to what the Left does now. They had their chance, wasn’t it enough?

Democrats are laying the groundwork for revolution right in front of our eyes.

As if 2020 were not insane enough already, we now have Democrats and their ruling class masters openly talking about staging a coup. You might have missed it, what with the riots, lockdowns and other daily mayhem we’re forced to endure in this, the most wretched year of my lifetime. But it’s happening.

It started with the military brass quietly indicating that the troops should not follow a presidential order. They were bolstered by many former generals—including President Trump’s own first Secretary of Defense—who stated openly what the brass would only hint at. Then, as nationwide riots really got rolling in early June, the sitting Secretary of Defense himself all but publicly told the president not to invoke the Insurrection Act. His implicit message was: “Mr. President, don’t tell us to do that, because we won’t, and you know what happens after that.”

All this enthused Joe Biden, who threw subtlety to the winds. The former United States Senator (for 26 years) and Vice President (for eight) has not once, not twice, but thrice confidently asserted that the military will “escort [Trump] from the White House with great dispatch” should the president refuse to leave. Another former Vice President, Al Gore, publicly agreed.

One might dismiss such comments as the ravings of a dementia patient and a has-been who never got over his own electoral loss. But before you do, consider also this. Over the summer a story was deliberately leaked to the press of a meeting at which 100 Democratic grandees, anti-Trump former Republicans, and other ruling class apparatchiks got together (on George Soros’s dime) to “game out” various outcomes of the 2020 election. One such outcome was a clear Trump win. In that eventuality, former Bill Clinton White House Chief of Staff John Podesta, playing Biden, refused to concede, pressured states that Trump won to send Democrats to the formal Electoral College vote, and trusted that the military would take care of the rest.

The leaked report from the exercise darkly concluded that “technocratic solutions, courts, and reliance on elites observing norms are not the answer here,” promising that what would follow the November election would be “a street fight, not a legal battle.”

Two more data points (among several that could be provided). Over the summer, two former Army officers, both prominent in the Democrat-aligned “national security” think tank world, wrote an open letter to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs in which they urged him to deploy the 82nd Airborne Division to drag President Trump from the Oval Office at precisely 12:01 PM, January 20, 2021.

About a month later, Hillary Clinton declared publicly that Joe Biden should not concede the election “under any circumstances.” The old English major in me interprets the word “any” to mean “no,” “none,” “nada,” “niente,” “zero,” “zilch” “bupkis”…you get the idea.

This doesn’t sound like the rhetoric of a political party confident it will win an upcoming election. …./ (must read)

So while the Democrats and media openly broadcast their outrage over their oetty grievances with Trump, this is what they have brewing among their ruling class elites.

Everyone has heard of the Tunnels To Towers organization, the group that helps fallen and wounded first responders or vets with their housing or mortgage expense.

A great organization doing great work.

Well, in their ads are quotes from some of the soldiers they are helping. One line always grabs at me every time I hear it: “where do you go when home isn’t home anymore?”

Those powerful words hit me like a ton of bricks and I have no answer to the question. That is a wider question, too. Where do you go when home isn’t home anymore?

I know the context there but that is a profound thought and question worth consideration.

Cancelled Then Or Now?

One pf the most famous post-founding speeches, delivered on a battlefield by Abraham Lincoln, declared the world will not long remember “what we say here,” but it “can never forget what they did here.”

“Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth upon this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.”Gettysburg Address, 1863.

Wait a minute there, are you telling me that was all a big lie and, at least until recently contested by Black Lives Mater anyway, is still a lie?

Again, I ask, I just wonder when and at what cause would the Left be proud of America? It’s a really simple question. What would it take, since they are not currently proud of America?

Price or cost of that anyone?

Lincoln went on to highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

A new birth of freedom? But Leftists have criticized even the motivation for our country. Why would they believe Lincoln? That’s just more rhetoric propaganda to them.

How much different that speech would have been if it were a concession speech on a Confederate victory: “Sorry, boys, it was all in vain but I can assure you we tried.” But no, Lincoln referred to the birth of the country and this “new birth” – as a further consecration of that original dedication and purpose.

Now then, about this current state of our cultural affairs

Oh, Lincoln waited for Black Lives Matter to come along to call him out by correcting it all. He knew they would. Of course Lincoln was wrong and just did not do it the right way. The poor soldiers who fought the war, then, were highly misguided of the entire purpose.

So what do we have some 150 years later? The BLM movement. It has attracted a crowd of attention. People have allied with it and their perception. Just call them “the minders”.

Now what I see on the streets is a whole lot of people who signed on to BLM and have made a choice for which there is no recovery. Without hesitation, they’ve all gone lockstep with something that many probably don’t even understand. Mob rule is not pretty. They would rather have that than even democracy.

They have lent themselves to a revolution to rip this country apart. And they are about to reap the fruits of it. On one hand, the BLM dismisses what was done in the Civil War, while calling forth their own counter-revolution to undo the first revolution. Without giving much thought to the consequences of their action. On the other hand, they misinterpret the original conception of the country.

But Lincoln should have clarified that, to anyone hearing or reading it, both the intent of this nation and the civil war itself. One would think.

“Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war.”

What he admitted there is that this was a test for the survival of that consecration. It was bloody. Now 150 years later, Leftists and the BLM are ripping away at it, asking if we can endure their mobocracy of disdain for it? Or will it too be cancelled in the end?

But then I think Lincoln knew something about the Cancel Culture.

Thanks: What’s Yours?

As 2019 winds down, some thanks are in order. Just a few prominent mentions.

On the last day before New Year’s Eve, I’d like to thank the cops for all they do — in some of the toughest parts of the country — along with fireman, EMTs and first responders.

I also want to thank those in the military for serving with honor, and their families who sacrifice to make it all possible.

I’d like to call out the lamestream media and fake news. You know who you are and what you do. You are the disgusting stain and obstruction to what makes a free society function. There are no excuses for what you do, but a sincere apology once in a while wouldn’t hurt.

I know I am leaving out many others and volunteers who donate their time. I can’t leave out my disgust for many on the left who have not accepted reality since the last presidential election. Time to move on. Here’s a message from 2016 that still stands.

To malcontents at odds with reality, a reminder is obviously necessary: Donald Trump is still President and he is not going anywhere. His support has not been cancelled either.

Warren Goes Tactical Stupid

Some people thought Elizabeth Warren was more rationale? She nuked that myth.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Montana Gov. Steve Bullock (D) sparred Tuesday night over her proposed “no first use” policy on nuclear weapons during the Democratic debate.

In defending the proposed policy, Warren argued for diplomatic and economic solutions to conflict, saying “we should not be asking our military to take on jobs that do not have a military solution.”

But Bullock opposed that proposal, saying, “I don’t want to turn around and say, ‘Well, Detroit has to be gone before we would ever use that.’”

Warren is the lead sponsor of the Senate version of a bill that would make it U.S. policy not to use nuclear weapons first.

It has long been the policy of the United States that the country reserves the right to launch a preemptive nuclear strike.

Former President Obama reportedly weighed changing the policy before leaving office, but ultimately did not after advisers argued doing so could embolden adversaries.

What morons. Naturally Obama thought about it — read: really wanted to but was stopped by advisors. So no speed bumps for Elizabeth Warren though. She wants to grant a ‘privilege of first strike‘ to our enemies and enshrine it into national policy.

Gee, I wonder what we get in return? Dare I ask.

War Hero Status: hands off McCain

Last night, again, CNN trotted out their venom for this president. Not presidents in general, just this president in particular. The subject, of course, was John McCain. The media never seems to tire of defending McCain. It was over comments Trump made.

In this episode of this long running series, Craig Shields opined that whenever people feel compelled to mention the Nazis or slavery in a conversation, they should stop right there. Don’t do it, he said, it will not go well. (never stopped Democrats from mentioning it)

To that firmly made point, Don Lemon chimed in with a remark adding war heroes to it, meaning like McCain. Just don’t do it, Don repeated. April Ryan was sitting there nodding in agreement to Lemon, rolling her eyes a few times shrugging as to why anyone should try to criticize or talk about McCain. Got the message.

But that brings up the point. We cannot mention John McCain in less than glowing terms. He is a war hero, after all, Lemon kept saying. So he was, and that makes him supposedly off limits to any criticism of him or his record.

Shields already said he had major disagreements with McCain because of the McCain-Fiengold Bill on campaign finance reform that attacked free speech. To the suggestion of disagreement, April Ryan rolled her eyes and shook her head back and forth. Nope, apparently one cannot even disagree on policy. No place for that.

Then Don Lemon added like your mother always told you, “don’t speak ill of the dead.” Now that is two reasons you cannot criticize McCain. First, he is a war hero and second, he is now dead. Yep that definitely puts him off the table. Bite your tongue.

So that sets up the scenario, those are the rules! But think about that a minute. Are we not now a generation that is taking issue with all kinds of people for what they did, especially even if they are also war heroes? Yes, we are. We have seen a string of it, tearing down statues and taking names off buildings all because they contributed to an intolerable policy. That means their war record status as a hero is post-facto expunged now.

I thought, you don’t have to look very far. A few examples popped into my head of Robert E Lee, Andrew Jackson and Benedict Arnold. Do they have something in common? (you could pick others too) They were heroes in their own right. Even Benedict Arnold had hero status before going to West Point and then selling out to become a traitor. He’s probably the most stellar example. But we do criticize him. I mean his name is forever smeared as a traitor. Yet he was a formidable soldier who Washington commended.

The point is all these are thoroughly critiqued today as villains of some type. But they were heroes too. Any statues of them would be removed. Whatever good they may have done is now undone by what we know about their actions or tangential support for policies. It doesn’t bother these McCain defenders one bit to bash or condemn those one-time heroes. In fact, it is good to make people aware of their wrongs and associated sins.

Look, I know no one is perfect. That is not my point. Actually, we are all flawed people. We may do great things and still have bad in our lifetime. These days though it is permissible to throw the man’s whole legacy out because of a stain. They are erasing our history the same way. But they will not find anyone perfect. We had founders that owned slaves. Does that blot them out of history? Should we sanitize history with only approved people?

They take the Jefferson Davis statue down and others. All that is good to these people; they endorse more of that cleansing. Except leave John McCain alone. “Leave him alone!”

There is another thing about McCain. Sure there is lots to criticize there. Lucky he never did become president because we know how they are treated — from Nixon to Obama. What about that? They were all still presidents. Yet they are routinely criticized all the time. (especially Republicans) They say but this man, McCain, must be exempt from any criticism. Is that fair? If he would have become president, he would have had criticism from both sides picking on his legacy, much worse than this.

I am getting very sick of how every time someone criticizes McCain, out come his preening guards calling you disrespectful, to remind everyone he is a war hero – End! No one can say a negative word about him. Trump does not follow their special McCain exempt rule.

The strategy for Republicans to win in November amounts to one thing at the top of everything. National issues win. On the fly in less than 800 words.

What the public cares most about are the national issues, which is why Trump won the way he did. That didn’t change. The big picture is now optimistic but needs more clarity.

National issues simply means broad popular issues. The same as 2016. This is not to say that local issues are irrelevant, but the same national issues do affect people locally. It is like a template: budgets, tax cuts, strong military, security, illegal immigration, border enforcement, the wall, jobs and a cadre of others as part of the local mix. Add to that the rise of Sanctuary Cities, pols who support them, and Leftists’ attempts to usurp power.

But face it, local school budgets and zoning ordinances are not the stuff of a national election. Though notice how Democrats try to nationalize them? No, voters go to polls to vote on their congressional reps and, yes, now senators. (17th amend did that) See, Democrats try to nationalize everything to suit their agenda.

We, on the other hand, as conservatives and Republicans, have a great basket of issues people care about, including the blue collar workforce. The fact that unions haven’t caught on should not effect it. There is no one else standing up for people. And those people are still fed up, and now at all the Democrats’ obstruction.

And Democrats are flush with cultural and divisive issues which are not the people’s agenda. Of course, their identity politics requires they play that game. But it is a huge turnoff to voters. Why favor a segment of people when you can appeal to all people?

When people look at their finances, of course they are concerned about jobs, growth, the GDP and spending. Promising someone a free college education doesn’t solve problems, it creates them. Appealing to black lives matter rhetoric doesn’t help anyone. They are identity issues. Screaming racism solves what? Notice how Democrats, to their credit, try to identify with what are now Trump voters. They can’t, yet want to sound Trumpian. But that is the guy they want to impeach as soon as they get their chance.

Republicans cannot be naval gazing, just fighting with themselves, handing Democrats ammunition. Bob Corker went off his little rocker, again, to attack any Trump supporters. He called them “cult-like.” I have a real cult to introduce Corker to. The mirror.

Recently, former Congressman Bob Barr wrote a column explaining the threat this election poses to Republicans and Trump. Impeachment was a big part of it. Understanding that, and impeachment itself, should be a part of this election process. He said much the same thing about national issues. A clarion warning, it offers some inspiration.

Here is the only conclusion I come to: just take all those big, important issues people care about and put them up against the only major issue to Democrats, impeachment.

After all, what would Democrats say, if they were honestly nuanced: (for a sampler)

1) We are going to make you less safe.
2)We’ll make the border less secure — open it up to everyone!
3)We’re going to raise your taxes and explode the budget, at the same time.
4)We are going to tar and feather Trump, first, then Impeach him.
5)We want to roll back your tax cuts and the last election.
6)We want to make America sorry for electing Trump — revenge, payback.
7)We want more sanctuary cities, more ‘sanctuary dances’ like the Philly Mayor’s.
8)We want your guns too, what good is a majority if we can’t take people’s freedoms?
9)We want to stop investigating DOJ, and cover up the Deep State agenda.
10)We will take the abuse of power and obstruction to a whole new level.
11)We will ram our Obamacare back onto the front burner for the 11th year.
12)We would like to turn California into about 5 new Liberal states too — like the way we gerrymander districts. Eric Holder probably has a plan for that.

 Yet that is only for starters. We will just be rehearsing and warming up for phase two, our 2020 takeover. I think we’ve proven our electioneering prowess and capabilities.

 

Not much of a choice when you look at it that way.

Hostage Crisis Countdown

This is day number one of the hostage crisis known as the Schumer Shutdown. As a result, it is not deal making; it is now hostage negotiation.

Schumer pulled the trigger of shutting down the government over an identity group called DACA Dreamers. and their demands. A non budget related item shoehorned into the CR to keep government running.

Now people like some Republicans can have problems with continued CR’s, but this was inserting a bomb into that CR process. And it accomplished its objective, shutting down government. Schumer’s success is defined as a shutdown. He is now on the outside.

Sure people can say a government shutdown is nothing new but it is a new strategy. Just insert your favorite little item, as a demand, to intentionally blow up the process. And it is done to force compliance to their whims by holding the entire government hostage to those demands. But it must be a very important thing to do that, no? No. It’s 700 thousand people blackmailing the whole government.

This is the radical left today. And all the logic and reason is not supposed to make sense, they want what they want. They don’t care about fixing anything, they want to break everything, including the rule of law. All that matters are their nefarious ends.

Trump has told them he will not negotiate on their issue while they are holding the government hostage. It reminds me of the Air Traffic Controllers and Reagan.

Take a real look though. This is actually called winning! Of course Dems will go to scorched earth measures when they are getting beat. It is what they do when they lose.

A politically manufactured shutdown.

So now when media gasbags — who actually helped spawn this radicalism — talk about some deal or deal-making process, it is too late. We are now in a hostage negotiation stage not deal making. This is blackmailing government for a small identity group.

Then, Friday, Schumer was invited to the White House to talk. But he brought a laundry list of demands. Really? Can you really, earnestly negotiate with Democrats or terrorists?

Here is what cheesy Schumer said a few years ago.

Governmental Chaos is exactly what Schumer is rolling out on the people — all over illegal immigration. Just call him Constitutional Chaos Chuck.

Fun fact: Obama did not get a budget passed until 2015. His first budget through Congress was passed after 6 years in office. In fact, he also blew right through any deadlines of making a budget. Dems were not the least bit concerned, because their radicalism and politicization of government was ruling the roost.

Then in 2016, Politico reported (2/8/16):

Even as Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders quarrel over who’s a “progressive” and who’s not, the president will propose a sweepingly progressive policy agenda that includes a $10-a-barrel oil tax, an expensive Medicaid expansion, a $4 billion initiative to promote computer science in public schools and the first down payment on a “moon shot” research initiative to cure cancer led by Vice President Joe Biden.”

Now Schumer has a moonshot of his own in mind. Go for broke.

If Dems wanted to force their DACA issue so badly, over funding gov, then why isn’t Chuck proudly taking credit for the Schumer Shutdown? Why blame Trump?

Rice the evil spewer

In Obama’s second term, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach argued why Rice should be kept from Sec of State, but because of Rwanda.

“But what is not arguable is that she deserves to be denied the post for a different reason [than Benghazi] altogether: Rwanda. What emerges when taken together — Rice’s weak response in Benghazi, blaming the murder of four Americans on a stupid video, and her shameful lack of action in the Rwandan genocide — is a career diplomat of singular weakness, lacking the spine or muscularity to assert American moral influence in the world.

Rice was part of Bill Clinton’s National Security Team that in 1994 refused any involvement whatsoever in the Rwanda genocide, leaving more than 800,000 men, women, and children to be hacked to death by machete in the fastest genocide ever recorded.”

Both events argue against any noble-good notion, when she was involved in both.

Rice now writes in a NYT op-ed article: “Susan Rice: When America No Longer Is a Global Force for Good

“President Trump’s National Security Strategy marks a dramatic departure from the plans of his Republican and Democratic predecessors, painting a dark, almost dystopian portrait of an “extraordinarily dangerous” world characterized by hostile states and lurking threats. America is no longer “a global force for good,” as in President Obama’s last strategy, or a “shining city on a hill,” as in President Reagan’s vision. America is no longer “a global force for good,” as in President Obama’s last strategy. So she claims Obama’s strategy, or policy, was “a global force for good.” Fancy that when it was exactly the opposite in action. It consistently stood in the face of a good legacy.

The ME and their Muslim Brotherhood obsession, then the anti-Israel platform, the Benghazi debacle — with or without the gun running — botched with mistakes and denials from the beginning, the Syrian issue of mixed messages and disappearing red lines, Russian influence throughout, the bad Iranian deal at all costs to us, ignorance on N Korea, and ISIS sprouting an official Caliphate in Syria and Iraq, reactionary spiteful withdrawal from Iraq, depleting our military, politicizing military intell and rules of engagement, not enforcing laws here in this country and politicizing the DOJ and intelligence.

Add to it the radicalization of government at home, with a war on energy, and lies about current events that were impossible to ignore. (the media really tried their best) I won’t even get into the racism for lack of space.

So we’re to infer all that was part of a “global force for good. If it was, then I’d like to know what a global force of empowering evil would look like? So all the above were part of the force for good? But now she has the arrogance and audacity to call Trump basically a force for bad. Here fellow comrades like Rhodes and Pfeiffer were on social media calling for the obituaries of current leadership. I hate to rain on her parade — or march — but the last 8 years was no picnic or vacation from evil. In fact, it was awash in it and corruption. Yet hearing her call it a force for good is hilarious.

This week we confirmed that Obama’s administration was so eager to get an Iran deal at any cost that they stood down on actions against Hezbollah’s international crime and terrorism operation. Let’s forget the Uranium deal for the moment. Politicizing and weaponizing government made it a force for good?

Now that all the skeletons are falling out of the closets (there aren’t enough closets) she is pointing fingers at the Trump administration, like her comrades. That rapid, immediate withdrawal from Iraq set off a chain of events. At home, Obama was so worried about his scummy legacy that he couldn’t have events called terrorism.

But all of that was part of some “global force for good.” What’s her definition of good?

Then back up a moment. She also called Trump’s policies a zero sum game that requires everyone else lose in order for us to win. We haven’t seen anything like that. Trump hasn’t called for that. Actually, he holds that they are winning while we are winning. But contrast that with Obama where we constantly lost on the deals and the world, or others, always won. That was more the zero-sum game. We weren’t really meant to win in Obama’s view.

She then goes for “enshrining Mr. Trump’s harsh anti-immigration policies, from the border wall to ending family preferences and limiting refugee admissions.” Again, contrast that with Obama’s mixed signals about border control, catch and release, and unconstitutional DACA program, and opening us to external threats in wartime. Refugees that were at least partly created by his own policies of complicit ignorance.

The perpetual do-gooder also made a policy of ignoring Christian persecutions while favoring Muslim refugees. He could only point to one major accomplishment of getting Osama bin Laden, but allowed a caliphate to form and spread, referring to it as JV. Yet he didn’t really take on that JV squad. Instead, he simply said it was not Islamic. Imagine that, a caliphate that is not Islamic? Oh, he banned using accurate terms to describe that caliphate of terrorism.

Enough contradictions in there to show she is shoveling more bullshit? What’s worse is they know, but have a constant need to deceive, try to control the narrative and revise Obama’s entire legacy. The people didn’t see it his way either, which showed in the election. Again, argue against the results and legitimacy of the election. Now…. they are going to lecture us on being a do-gooder? How about people just do what is right, and forget this false do-good narrative? Although I used to think that doing the right thing was being a force for good!

US strikes on Afghanistan opium labs

Forces are going after revenue streams of enemies and terrorists like the Taliban. US military, and others, attacked opium laboratories using air strikes in Afghanistan.

(CNN)Under the previous administration the US could only target the Taliban under certain specific circumstances.

“The new authorities allow me to go after the revenue streams of the enemy,” [Gen. John, commander of US forces in Afghanistan] Nicholson said Monday.

According to Gen. Nicholson, the new policy refrains from attacking the poppy fields because, it said, farmers are often forced “to grow the illicit crop.”

The article says it is “estimated that opium production in Afghanistan had increased by 87% in 2017” – which supplies “85% of the world’s opium.”
