Accountability Zero

Why does this country have such an accountability deficit? To weigh that, I looked into both sides. I see a lot of the same problems within. Guess where it comes from?

It requires a quick trip down memory lane just to illuminate the problem.

Take it back to 2016. I’ve written much about that primary and the nomination shake out. In the end, Trump had the nomination then won the race. Start right there.

The reason he won had much to do with the lack of accountability in the same old establishment politics and process. So people got fed up and wanted to reign in power.

Okay, so it was nasty and we know what happened. Once elected, the Left planted their feet in resistance. Again, expected. As Trump started to line up his cabinet and team, remember what happened? More resistance on everything he did.

The left said they would brand everyone who took a job in the administration. They wanted a full boycott of Trump positions. Fortunately, Trump was picking from a different pool and managed to find enough people willing to serve.

That did not stop the left though. Then they threatened anyone who took a position that they would not work in DC again. But the officials did so anyway, putting it on the line.

If these threats were not enough to keep them from joining, then what were the benefits, if any, of joining Trump’s administration? I don’t know about all, except there was an idea positive results would prevail over time, and on what they would accomplish. If they hung in, those results would vindicate them. People would see it and feel the outcome.

So there was risk but was worth a chance because they were going to change status quo, which had not gotten positive results. Plus Trump was making a point to put America First instead of last. Team Trump had no interest in leading from behind.

But the Lockstep Left was out to make that as hard as possible – hopefully to drive Trump out. Those are facts. Democrats made no secret of it, from boycotting his inauguration to keeping an investigation going as a basis for removal. Again, undisputed facts.

Trump operated in that backdrop despite protests and sedition. The administration went to work to prove all their ignorant assumptions wrong. Well, those results/outcomes should have satisfied most people, other than hard-line Marxists, or staunch anti-Trumpers – for their own reasons. That should satisfy the people en masse.

One must go through the entire primary context to see what people wanted and what they opposed. But one demand was accountability. If we got that much, it would help correct our entire course. Many of us believed eventually we would get that accountability. It might take some work but we would get it, one way or another.

So accountability was further defined. It was just basic accountability that we should expect from government but until then was totally absent. We were not asking much.

Threats on Trump and his administration continued. It evolved into an impeachment over a phone call. It offered a hint. That call was about accountability for what Biden-Obama did in foreign affairs, like Ukraine. Selling out the country was real — not in regards to Trump but regarding Biden and Obama. We know where that ended up.

Fast forward, we had an election that the Left cheered as a Biden victory. But hold your horses, it was not that clear. Never mind, says the Left, we got this. But no one else asked any accountability questions of Biden. Then they moved to start Biden’s team for 2021.

And this completes the tale of accountability.

I’m not disputing it all, just stating what they did. Along the way, they declared everyone who had worked in the administration or supported Trump be blacklisted. Remember they started that way. Sure enough, Dems were taking names telling people they would not work in public or private sectors again. What had Trump done?

Actually he was pretty successful. And the left kept insisting this election was about the pandemic, which they politicized and weaponized. The positive results still stand, too numerous to list. Democrats claimed the election was accountability for leadership.

Democrats wanted revenge against Trump, and everyone to pay. They call this some kind of twisted accountability – redefining the term. Remember mpeachment, investigations fell flat, They call this accountability? All the good they refuse to talk about.

Now if you boiled all of it down to a common denominator, it is accountability. The left wants an accountability, like revenge, to prevent it from happening again, Therefore, blacklisting is accountability. They redefined the term.

Conservatives on the right want real accountability. That’s all it was ever about to us. Simply to hold those accountable for what they did. Is that too much to ask?

The differences are crystallizing in recent events. Look how they are treating Trump and anyone connected to the administration. Now look at the team Biden is putting together. Any echoes or hints of accountability? It’sthe opposite; a slap in the face.

We see old guard, swamp creatures who were part of the problems for a decade. Sullivan, Kerry, Biden, Antony Blinkin, Rice. Plenty more to come, drawn from that same pool.

Biden set out to plant deep state creatures back into government to shore up its operation. His slogan is “build back better.” Really? That means deep state. Joe Biden’s people are also inquiring within bureaus and departments about any changes Trump made. So the first mission is reverse changes. Revert to the deep state paradigm.

They do know how to do that, they created it.

Now Dems will assure us they are very responsible, that they will be held accountable. Complete nonsense. Accountability is what they are programmed to prevent..

However, look at this political jihad against Trump people. Biden’s people have been a part of this contortion and corruption of government for decades. No accountability for that.

But those career Swamp-insiders are not scorned, blacklisted, harassed or banished from public or private sectors. They are swooned over and welcomed. If not in government, they are sought as experts in media — as advocates of effective, rational government.

Unaccountability has been normalized and institutionalized.

Accountability is starting to look like fools’ gold, where only fools think it is real.

Sea Of Contempt From The Left

The House committee convened to charge AG Barr with Contempt of Congress proved how wrong this all is.

Instead, it only expands our existing Contempt For Congress and gaslights the public.

Jerry Nadler rushed into the contempt process in record breaking time, like he had planned it from the start. He also seemed to setup the process by making his demands impossible to comply with. He and all his staff attorneys would force AG Barr to pick between obeying the law or complying with Nadler’s subpoena. Which one to choose? Having made the choice, they set out to take him down using that as their reason.

Now they claimed to be on a collision course with a Constitutional crisis, justice, and impeachment. But Nadler set that course. Don’t blame Barr and Trump.

Democrats never were entitled to anything they desired. There are limits due to the justice system. So they attacked justice, in case you thought this was all about justice.

In fact, justice is about the last thing they have in mind. Their biggest enemy is justice. Conservatives knew it was never about justice. It was about covering a multilayered mountain of corruption under the surface. And keeping that from being exposed.

It was about obstructing justice by Democrats and abuse of power.

But why would Democrats be so outraged and triggered by Barr? Because he represents the greatest threat of anyone, as a devoted official to justice. He would do what Sessions never did, get involved in a real investigation. Actually, this is the first time in 2 years that we had a real AG. Trump functioned all this time technically without an AG.

We do know much of the reason for the counter intelligence investigation and the witch hunt was to create a smokescreen to prevent people from looking at the truth. Obama and his politicized administration hung the Russia collusion narrative around Trump while Obama did nothing at the time to respond to what Russia was doing.

They have been successfully propelling that narrative for 2 and half years, right into the next election cycle. Then they dumped the results of the investigation so it could poison democracy — be politicized and weaponized by Democrats — all over again. It was their politicization of it from the beginning as a means to win an election, then undermine a legitimate Trump administration.

If Russia “attacked our democracy,” then Democrats weaponized that attack the way even Russia could never do, against the country. So I have an idea to help them out.

Since Democrats are so outraged by Russia meddling in our election — “attacking our democracy” — and need to blame then hold someone accountable, I have the solution.

Investigate, blame and hold Obama accountable because:

1) he was president
2) he allowed it to happen for over 2 years
3) he weaponized it;
4) used it as a blanket to cover his administration’s scandals;
5) tried to blame someone who didn’t know it was going on;
6) then used the weaponized attack against his opponent and successor,

    • to undermine him
    • saddlle him with endless investigation
    • foment a coup to oust him
    • or impeach him once in office.

How about blaming Obama and holding him accountable because that’s who is responsible for it all? As if that was not enough, they weaponized that Russian meddling the way Russia never could, against America. After that, we can start the treason and sedition trials. So how about addressing the real problem and do something about it?

But no, they blame the guy who didn’t know about it and had nothing to do with it, just to keep everyone from uncovering or looking at Obama and Hillary’s: abuse of power, obstruction of justice, politicizing government, the political weaponizing of Russia’s meddling and undermining an election. Look no further than the duo of treason.

Send In The Media?

Let’s talk about that accountability deficit in the country.

I fully expect that when it gets rolling, the crowds will chant from Leftville that they also believe in accountability. Then they will claim that is what media is there for, to hold the powerful accountable. “Leave it to the free press.”

Achem, not that I don’t believe they are sincere, they are. Just that their idea of accountability from MSM is the way we are already getting it. That is not accountability, it’s their Brownshirt militia enforcement agency. “Cleanup in isle #1!”

Leaving accountability up to press and media is the wet dream of liberals. That does not hold anyone accountable. It’s like telling the propaganda arm of a communist country to hold government officials accountable. Same thing.

No, real accountability, sadly lacking, comes from enforcing laws by a justice system that works. Not a justice system tied at the hip to a radical left agenda. A wet noodle

It is laughable, media holding the powerful, Deep State, corrupted government to account. They tell us that because that is what they want us to believe.

Real accountability is prosecuting their dirty crimes and frogmarching them off. Those corrupt officials undermining our government need to pay a price. A scathing press article or media is not going to do that. Even losing an election, like Hillary, is not paying the price. But that is the standard they expect, while we have to play by different rules.

Hillary does NAACP

Out in front of the Republican Convention, and pandering as usual, Hillary gave a speech to NAACP. (I wonder if she charged them 250K?)

She lectured on the rule of law and accountability. Her hypocrisy really has no bounds.

So is the message or the messenger the problem?

And as president, I will bring the full weight of the law to bear and making sure those who kill police officers are brought to justice. There can be no justification, no looking the other way.

That’s why our laws treat the murderers of police so seriously, because they represent the rule of law itself. If you take aim at that and at them, you take aim at all of us.

We must reform our criminal justice system because everyone is safer when there is respect for the law and when everyone is respected by the law.

I don’t think anyone anywhere needs to connect what is wrong with messenger Hillary Clinton lecturing us on the rule of law and accountability, saying she stands up for the rule of law — while she trounces it every chance she gets. And lying is no problem either.
