It’s the agenda, stupid

Speaking of State Department BS and the Obama administration in general, time to revisit an older article. Not much changed so it is only more important with State issues.

Naturally, I cannot suspend my disbelief of this Federal Autocracy. But when departments ally with other departments and bureaucracy in a cohesive effort, it only gets worse. Here we have such a stellar case. It is nothing new that it involves education, databases, and the ever prying eye of the Leviathan we call the Federal Government.

Obama’s “Mother of all Databases” Includes Our Children

Speaking of databases, there’s one out there that’s more than a little disturbing. It’s but one more devious plan created by none other than Barack Hussein Obama to store personal information on our children. No wonder Maxine Waters spouted off that Obama’s database knew everything about everybody – this is one of the few times that Maxine was telling the truth.

Obama actually planned this scandal back in 2009 – why Republicans and Democrats didn’t even raise an eyebrow is a total mystery. Obama helped himself to several billion dollars of our stimulus money and threw it into a pot for Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, placing him in charge of mining our children’s personal information for Obama’s database.

Federal law put in place restrictions back in 1979 when the Department of Education was launched. The law specifically stated that it was illegal for the White House to have a Federal Education database.

As usual, the law does not apply to Obama. Obama and Duncan promised an ungodly amount of money to the States suffering from a horrific recession if they would make a deal and trust Washington to take over the education system of our children.

There’s one more minor stipulation that Obama is requesting.  He wants each State to create a database containing personal information on our kids and forward that information to none other than the Secretary of Education. Obama and old Arne have prepared the template for these databases containing hundreds of personal data requirements from religion to parent’s income.

Obama’s Muslim Brotherhood is now partnering up with our Department of Education and the State Department to create an online program (Qatar) that will connect our United States schools with classrooms abroad. As usual, they leave out some pertinent details.

Remember the days when people used to want to speak truth to power when it was critically important, when it appeared the power or powerful had lost their way? That must seem so 70’ish. The good old days when libs used to talk about believing in that.

Well, now Liberals are quiet as mice. Do they not realize this stuff is happening? Do they not care? I think there is a lot of the latter. Just connecting obvious dots is too much effort for some people. Maybe they would rather not know? That is a real possibility.

Even more sinister, maybe libs realize and approve of what is going on knowing it means more power for the government and less privacy and freedom for us – or more control?

Obama and his cohorts are great at talking about or blaming unintended consequences, but what about the all too intentional ones? Just like the IRS, Benghazi, Fast and Furious or Servergate. Surely these things are missteps, blunders, coincidences, or unintended results of an ever-burgeoning bureaucracy. My disbelief wins, again.

History, Hitler, Holocaust — denial, databases, and destruction

It Can Happen Here

The gates of Auschwitz, one of the infamous Nazi concentration camps.

The gates of Auschwitz, one of the infamous Nazi concentration camps.

“How the Jews Defeated Hitler” is the title of a new book by Dr. Benjamin Ginsberg PhD, subtitled “Exploding the Myth of Jewish Passivity in the Face of Nazism.”  The title is counter-intuitive because, as is well known, the Nazis murdered six million Jews in Europe during the course of a deliberate genocide that has since become known as the Holocaust.

The author is a professor of political science and is chair of the Center for Advanced Governmental Studies at Johns Hopkins University and the book is more than just a history of that horrific period of history. It is not that long ago. I was a child at the time so, within the living memory of the survivors, their children and grandchildren, as well as others like myself around the world, it is living history.

The value of the book is the way it explains how many of the Jews of Europe, particularly those herded into ghettos, failed to grasp what was happening. “It was initially difficult for most Jews to believe that the Germans actually intended to kill them all.”

Another major factor was that the Nazis ensured that they were disarmed and unable to defend themselves, as were others who opposed the regime.

Where resistance fighters emerged, Ginsburg notes that “Germany relied, especially in Western Europe, on the help of local police forces to deal with partisans, and, especially in France and Holland, whose local police were quite helpful.” In occupied France, “The French police helpfully compiled a card index of all the Jews of Paris by name, street, occupation, and nationality.”

Therein lies the fears and concerns of Americans as they slowly come to realize that their government not only knows where they live, but a great deal of information about them courtesy of the Internal Revenue Service, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Homeland Security, the National Security Agency, right on down to their local law enforcement authorities.

If or when Obamacare is fully implemented, anonymous bureaucrats will be able to “target” selected Americans who are seeking medical care for death simply by denying it. No need to set up concentration camps to kill them en mass. Just as the little girl who needed a lung transplant that was initially denied by the Secretary of Health and Human Services, individuals identified as “patriots” or other enemies of the state could simply be allowed to die.

So, yes, it can happen here

Excellent article. Here in the US, they waged a campaign to marginalize any dissent or opposition to their schemes all along.

Databases, Dems and Intimidation

Silicon Valley isn’t buying GOP’s data plans

By TARINI PARTI and MICHELLE QUINN | 5/27/13

A California investor — with help from Karl Rove — won the highly competitive contest to help build the Republican National Committee’s data platform.

But he’s having trouble winning over Silicon Valley.

Dick Boyce, once a partner at Bain & Co. and the former CEO of J.Crew, launched Liberty Works with the goal of helping Republicans catch up to Democrats in the digital data world.

Liberty Works was hired to create an open-source voter data platform, meaning outside groups and campaigns would have access to the information for outreach and fundraising and also be able to build on it with their own applications. The RNC describes the goal for the shared data as “iPhone-like.”

Since the RNC announcement on May 1, Liberty Works has gotten off to a shaky start. Top engineers in Silicon Valley who have been looking for ways to help Republican campaigns question Boyce’s vision and say the company’s outreach is underwhelming — as are its salary offers.

“At a minimum, they should buy a round or two of drinks before they ask the tech community to get into bed,” said Garrett Johnson, the chief executive of SendHub, an Internet communications firm in Menlo Park.

The big risk for the RNC is that any delay or failure to keep up with the Democrats’ vaunted data operation could hurt their already uphill efforts to win the Senate next year and further cement the GOP’s reputation as behind the times in the digital data world.

So they label it “an already uphill battle to take back the Senate”. But of course, I see no criticisms or singling out individuals from the left about Obama’s massive, even secretive, database operation. All that matters is the Republicans building one — and the more scrutiny they can give it the better.

I expect to hear some statements soon from Obama or his top operatives. Next comes the intimidation campaign

Not buying Republicans’ plans? What a crock. But what is next for Obama, send some goons to intimidate and attack anyone working with Repulicans? Let’s see, the IRS may be a little busy and indisposed right now. Have no fear, they’ll find a Chicago way.

From Breitbart February 6, 2013.

“DEM REP: 2016 PRES CANDIDATE WILL HAVE ‘POWERFUL’ DATABASE THAT HAS ‘EVERYTHING ON EVERYONE’”

“It’s very powerful what [Obama’s] leaving in place.”

See Breitbart video

Maxine Waters says:

“The President has put in place an organization with the kind of database that no one has ever seen before in life,” Representative Maxine Waters told Roland Martin…. “That’s going to be very, very powerful,” Waters said. “That database will have information about everything on every individual on ways that it’s never been done before and whoever runs for President on the Democratic ticket has to deal with that. They’re going to go down with that database and the concerns of those people because they can’t get around it. And he’s [President Obama] been very smart. It’s very powerful what he’s leaving in place.”
