A Note To Dems’ Script Writers

One thing stuck in my craw for the duration of the Washingtonian malfeasance is a simple phrase all too common now. Widely and wildly misused. It is more a defense and deflection of the Swamp than an indictment of it.

That phrase is some form of: “we should not criminalize politics” or our political process. Alan Dershowitz popularized it but many used it. It’s now an institutional euphemism.

The original intended beneficiary of the phrase was foremost to be Hillary Clinton. But it was applied in defending Obama too. It may now legitimately be used defending Trump. Though those three instances are apples and oranges. True, they try to criminalize everything Trump does. It has been normalized. Let’s deal with Hillary and Obama.

I resent something called what it is not. In Hillary’s case, it is as a complete misdescription of events. Hillary started her job as Secretary of State in 2009, after lying about creating a wall between the Foundation with her name on it. That conflict was to be expunged, but never was. She knew it, Bill knew it, her top advisors knew it. All were aware how she would use the job as Sec of State. That was the whole point in her taking the job.

She engaged in criminal conduct from the onset.

The crux is even deeper. She began by setting up an illegal server from the start. She never used a State email. Her advisors knew it. She did it to circumvent FOIA and public accountability. The whole purpose by design was to obstruct justice. That was her goal.

The act came first, meaning her job duties were subordinate to political considerations. However, her actions were criminal from the beginning. She was not compliant with the law from the git-go.

Now we are lectured that we the people should not criminalize our political process. Really?

State was politicized too, not just by her. Obama deliberately did not install an Inspector General at State for Hillary. It only had an existing, “acting” temporary (placeholder) office. Politicized and weaponized as was nearly every other department, like Justice.

We now know that in the 2016 campaign, Hillary was taking money from foreign sources. We also know what she was doing with Russians, Perkins Coie, Fusion GPS, Crowd Strike, Ukrainians, an agent of a foreign government, creating a dossier, pedaling it to our intelligence community and co-opting our executive branch. Using existing politicization and further weaponizing intelligence, collaborating with Obama and his administration.

Does all that sound like legitimate, legal campaign conduct — which is being criminalized?

So the point is Hillary and Obama’s criminal deeds criminalized our political process. But we are criminalizing politics by wanting accountability? Not to forget how they weaponized government against the people, interfered with elections and later staged a coup.

But the real source of the whole problem was that Trump beat Hillary in her dirty, illegal game — politics. He was also running against an abuse of power and obstruction of justice. They are now trying to criminalize the very politics that beat them.

Don’t cry to me about people criminalizing routine political conduct and election process. None of Democrats’ was routine. People who stage coups have no credibility.

The Swamp is heavily defended

In this strange upside down and inside out world we find ourselves in, it looks like the Dep of Justice is actually the protector of the swamp. Call it a guardian or caretaker.

Ten years ago I might have mockingly wrote that as a joke. Now I only wish it were a joke. Can this please be a joke or an SNL skit that I’ve seen just before dozing off and having this nightmare? The irony of that is just about as wacky as the very idea. But we don’t get to write the script, we are living it out.

With all the latest revelations about texts, then missing texts, refusals to provide documents to Congress, a former AG meeting with Clinton on a tarmac, to an FBI Director who demanded an independent counsel after being fired, it seems anything is possible. And that is just the point, nothing is normal. My worst fears are real, it is all true.

On a daily basis more comes out. If you thought Deep State was a conspiracy theory, you no longer have the liberty to laugh it off or pretend it is not. There is a conspiracy.

Offended? I suppose so. But if you spent all your time being outraged you would wear yourself out before the whole story comes out. Another issue is the selectivity of news reporting about any of it. They don’t want to. It’s like media is on strike refusing to report real news, instead just making up a convenient story line to suit their fancy.

So I, like so many of us, go from one outrage to the next. I’m sick of the perpetual outrage, sick of being offended to my inner being. I’m sick of the moral outrage when wrong is right and right is wrong. The nightmare is real and it doesn’t seem to be coming to an end. It develops new plots and turns daily.

If what has been happening was supposed to wake you up, well, once you are awake then what can you do? The only people who are not outraged about any of these actions are the left. Their silence about it is chilling.

At the heart of the Deep State is its defense. (and at the heart of the swamp is its ecological, biological system)

The offensives continue on common sense and reasoning. Is it a dumbing down of America or just the effects of politicizing everything? Either way, they don’t want you to know.

At the height of this upside down chicanery, the real truth is crystallizing about the Deep State and those who support it, ie, the media, the left and all areas of the Swamp. When faced with the power and influence of Deep State, we see who is willing to protect it. It is now clear the supreme guardian of the Deep State is no less than the DOJ itself.

I’ve long associated Deep State with bureaucracy and especially the state Department but its tentacles are far wider than that. Now we find out that the protector and apologists for it is the Department of Justice. Who tasked them with that duty and responsibility above all else — like keeping America safe and preserving justice and rule of law — to defend Deep State? Of course that is by default the preservation of the Swamp.

So the effects we are seeing of the corruption that went on is bad enough. Indeed that even penetrated the DOJ as well. But when it came down to exposing it, the DOJ stepped right in to preserve and protect the Deep State Swamp — to cover their butts.

Recently we saw how the Menedez corruption trial ended, in a hung jury. This reinforced the claim that it is very tough to get a conviction on corruption and bribery. Maybe William Jefferson’s freezer of cash would not be a problem now? In fact, that case is now under reconsideration. Jefferson will be released after a judge revised the charges.

The New Orleans Advocate – 10/5/17

The decision marked the latest upending of a political corruption conviction since the high court set tighter limits on what qualifies as an illegal quid pro quo in politics.

In a unanimous 2016 decision tossing out the conviction of former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, Chief Justice John Roberts wrote that an official act “must involve a formal exercise of governmental power.”

Roberts added that “setting up a meeting, talking to another official or organizing an event — without more — does not fit that definition of ‘official act.’ “

It was recently announced they will not seek a new trial against Menendez.

“DOJ” now stands for Dep of Obstructing Justice. Like it or not, that’s what we have. The old line is that its not the crime but the coverup. The DOJ is complicit in the corruption and in the cover up. But it was supposed to be sacred (neutral) ground that only cared about one thing, justice.

That all changed under Obama. It became the seat of the corruption — the pinnacle. Then it morphed into its defender of record as the news leaked out. Democrats in Congress want to make sure that the corrupt and politicized DOJ stays in place.

There goes your and my nightmare in a loop cycle.

In fact, they tried to make it impossible for Trump and his administration to fire anyone. If you have the president under investigation, it turns out that only makes you immune from firing. But make no mistake who the real guardian-in-chief for Deep State has been.

Add the failures of FBI to do its job in terrorism or high profile investigations. And they wonder why we are losing confidence in the DOJ itself? It is at the heart of the Swamp.

Hillary’s Hallucination On Power

Hillary cries fowl at the idea of government investigating a political opponent, as an abuse of power. It would “rip at the fabric of the contract” of “trust in our justice system.”

Real Clear Politics

HILLARY CLINTON: I regret deeply that this appears to be the politicization of the Justice Department and our justice system. This Uranium One story has been debunked countless times by members of the press, by independent experts. …./

It is personally offensive that they would do this. But taking myself out of it, this is such an abuse of power, and it goes right at the rule of law. … And if they sent a signal that we’re going to be like some dictatorship, some authoritarian regime, where political opponents are going to be unfairly, fraudulently investigated, that rips at the fabric of the contract we have that we can trust our justice system.

While government IS investigating her political opponent — has been for months — in let’s count how many places, along with the Dep of Justice. Interesting. Is she serious?

Politicization of the Justice Department and our justice system“… surely you are laughing after 8 years of the most politicized government and Justice Dep in our history.

Such blatantly arrogant hypocrisy but you aren’t done.

Weaponized false information” … Odd claim for a candidate who spent 9+ million dollars to author a dirty dossier on her opponent. Which caused government authorities to back feed it into our system of government. Interesting concern, isn’t it? Very interesting. Video

Seems “What Happened” is still happening. Yeah, Abuse of Power is your issue, Hillary!

Just “rips at the fabric,” doesn’t it?

Crazy Obama-hood

Welcome to the wacky world of Obama. Cue the Twilight Zone theme. A place where a clerk goes to jail for not issuing a marriage license but an entire city in California refuses to follow federal law and nothing happens. A place where incompetence is the excuse and justification for more incompetence.

In fact, when the Attorney General is asked about sanctuary cities going on for decades, Loretta Lynch claims that she needs time to study it. Time is not on our side, people.

The IRS targets people politically and the DOJ claims there is no grounds to prosecute Lerner or anyone else. The administration lies to everyone to get Obamacare passed but you lying to the government will land you in jail. The government breaches a dam contaminating an entire ecosystem but it calls you a denier threat if you don’t buy their global warming propaganda. The DOJ will launch an immediate civil rights investigation if you don’t sell a cake to someone or participate in their wedding ceremony. But a city openly refuses to cooperate with federal laws and statutes, and DOJ says we’ll have to “study” up on the matter.

Obama tells people to quit popping off about the circumstances or criticizing his ISIS policy. Instead, he says, put out their own strategy and show him. That’s election campaign rhetoric. It is radical Alinsky rules: make your opponent put forth a plan or strategy to prevent him from criticizing yours. The thing is he is the president, with access to all the information. He doesn’t want you to criticize his strategy unless you put forth a plan of your own, which he can then criticize and mock taking the focus off his. Just read Rules for Radicals, it’s just like the ISIS pr Al Qaeda terrorist manual. Then he deports five more detainees from Gitmo back to the ME, while also conniving a scheme to bring remaining Gitmo combatants to US mainland prisons. And imports tens of thousands of Syrian refugees, with a fictional screening, just to add a little more spice to it.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch: (the capitol)

Tick, tick, tick…

Ferguson: the ideo-mindset

A couple things strike me as odd about the Ferguson matter.

The disdain for police is only part of it. Then the mistrust of the police is probably the bigger part. They all expressed it, which seems to be at the heart of the discontent. The rally was a rail-a-thon against the police.

But as the solution, they want the federal government to take over the entire investigation. So do you not have trust in local police and prosecutors, local government et al, but you have complete faith in the federal government — especially this DoJ under Eric Holder? The answer of course is yes, yes.

Sort of leaves me scratching my head how they complain about the militarization of police. That is a very real problem, I can understand that. It is one thing many of us are concerned about. Then they are upset at the national guard being brought in. On the other hand, they are begging the feds to take full control over everything.

So feds don’t abuse their authority, don’t screw up, and don’t deserve our distrust? Right, I have a bridge for them. The federal government that has politicized and scandalized almost every department, and can’t manage our border, is the infallible super-hero.

Am I missing some dots or not connecting them? I just find that strange. I know their desire is to make it a civil rights case, but the exuberant trust seems very questionable.

Soaking in the “summer of scandal” heat

(so grab a cool one… and catch up on things)

bbq grill photo: BBQ Grill B-BQgrill.jpg

Hats off to the designer of this masterpiece. Who says the sauce is the boss?

Okay, its summertime after all, and I for one am feeling particularly festive after half time. Yep, the 4th of July is said to be summer’s half way marker.  So enjoy what you can of the balance. And as a special seasonal bonus, remember Congress goes on recess in August. That should sort of make you feel like you’re saving money while noticing those skyrocketing vacation costs.

Now if you’re in the same seasonal mood, I hope you are at least throwing the burgers on the grill as liberally as Obama’s administration is piling up scandals. Not even halfway through their summer of scandal and they’ve added another one to their menu, a border crisis to rival any other. As this one kicks off with the customary fanfare you’ve come to expect from this administration, remember like wine they only get better with age. And this one has not reached its peak vintage yet. (click for mood music)

Time for another installment of the “summer of scandal”. Brought to you by our fine sponsor, DNC and its many affiliates. Special guest appearances of Eric Holder and his rock ’em-sock ’em DOJ. While Eric was out calling the play by play games, he gave us the hint of the planning involved in this show.

Crack open a Dr Pepper and throw another burger on the Bar-b. Add this one to your repertoire of scandals.

Eric Holder: ‘We are at a dangerous time’

By Dana Ford, CNN | July 14, 2014

(CNN) — U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is worried about wholes that are greater than the sum of their parts.

Take, for instance, the current mix of bomb-makers from Yemen with foreign fighters in Syria.

“That’s a deadly combination, where you have people who have the technical know-how along with the people who have this kind of fervor to give their lives in support of a cause that is directed at the United States and directed at its allies. And it’s something that gives us really extreme, extreme concern,” he told ABC’s “This Week.”

He estimated there are about 7,000 foreign fighters in Syria, coming from places like Europe and the United States.

“In some ways, it’s more frightening than anything I think I’ve seen as attorney general,” he said. “This is a situation that we can see developing and the potential that I see coming up, the negative potential I see coming out of the facts in Syria and Iraq now, are quite concerning,” he said.

Does his boss know he’s out there dissing their foreign policy achievements?  Maybe its like that guy trying to lure you into the side-show at the carnival with all the hype.

And threats from that part of the world aren’t the only ones Holder has to worry about. He also fears potential attacks on planes.

This month, the Transportation Security Administration said that security screeners at overseas airports may ask U.S.-bound passengers to turn on their electronic devices to prove they work and aren’t explosive devices.

So every electronic device is a potential weapon. One may ask where was his concern about this a year ago?

They won’t allow devices without power on board planes. The traveler may then undergo additional screening.

It’s part of an update to security measures aimed at combating potential new threats from terrorists in the Middle East and Europe.

“This is not a test … We’re doing something in reaction to things that we have detected,” Holder told ABC about the upgrades.

“We are at a dangerous time,” he said.

U.S. attorney general urges new laws to prevent terror from returning fighters. CNN

Do you hear that, Obama, “this is not a test”?

I get the new ever-changing security threats stuff. Those rascally terrorists are creative. So why does the invasion on the Southern border not have alarm bells going off in his mind?  Why does border security need to stand down in the face of real ever-evolving threats? And at this most “dangerous time”?

Hello: “wholes that are greater than the sum of their parts”… just saying. Remember my “Gestalt effect.”

Oh so other countries airport security may be taking precautions but our own US security in this country takes a big fat pass. In fact, they put out the welcome flag.  Scabies and lice – check, TB or diseases — checkaroony.  Other than Mexicans — check. Spotting literature of jihadists traveling across the border – check. What are we missing for potential threats? No, I think we got most of them, right here flowing across the border. Reports are coming out that some of the recently “documented” illegals are using their new papers for air travel. I wonder how that factors into Eric Holders fearful brain?

Well on the other hand, maybe we can cut Eric some slack. He said these are threats they have detected.  So maybe he just hadn’t gotten around to noticing the tens of thousands of OTM pouring across our border, with who knows what, or plans for who knows what? He’ll probably get around to that info, soon, like how out of the loop he was on Fast and Furious. It just takes a while for it to work up the chain of command. The fact that Fox News has been reporting on it is probably a tip-off that it’s just BS like all those other scandals which he refuses to take action on.

Keep an eye on that sunburn.

Dep. of Injustice issues dictate to schools

Eric Holder Just Sent This Threatening Letter To All Public Schools

by B. Christopher Agee | Western Journalism

Along with the Department of Education, Eric Holder’s Justice Department is reminding public schools in no uncertain terms that they are obligated to provide all children with an education regardless of their immigration status.

In an apparent attempt to clarify existing guidelines, the federal government sent a letter to schools indicating the agencies are “aware of student enrollment practices that may chill or discourage the participation, or lead to the exclusion, of students.”

The letter emphasizes how loose the restrictions are regarding what type of documentation schools are required to accept, basically meaning there is no excuse for questioning why a child obviously in the country illegally is receiving taxpayer-funded schooling and/or child care.

“We want to be sure every school leader understand the legal requirements under the Constitution and federal laws,” the letter states, “and it is our hope that this update will address some of the misperceptions out there.”

One is hard pressed, however, to find any mention of the government’s responsibility to provide free education to criminal inhabitants within the structure of the U.S. Constitution. In any case, the letter goes on to spell out requirements in no uncertain terms.

“The message here is clear,” it read, “let all children who live in your district enroll in your public schools.”

Parents of children with only a foreign birth certificate are given ample leeway in providing alternative ‘documentation,’ including an entry in a family Bible, for instance.

Holder and other leftist leaders are determined to integrate illegals completely into society to the extent that actually holding them accountable for their crimes would not only be nearly impossible, but in itself an illegality.

Ensuring the next generation of criminals is indoctrinated within the public school system is one vital step in achieving that goal.

(CBS 5)”We want to be sure every school leader understands the legal requirements under the Constitution and federal laws, and it is our hope that this update will address some of the misperceptions out there,” said Secretary Arne Duncan in a statement. “The message here is clear: let all children who live in your district enroll in your public schools.”

Attorney General Eric Holder pledged to “vigilantly enforce the law to ensure the schoolhouse door remains open to all.” Any actions to put up barriers to student enrollment, “not only harm innocent children, they also markedly weaken our nation…by leaving young people unprepared and ill-equipped to succeed,” he said.
