Hamas sets spy policy

Hamas began a policy of dealing with those it labels spies in Gaza. They began executing 18 of them on Friday after midday prayers. They lined them up behind the mosque and shot them.

A spokesperson of Hamas said this is how they are going to deal with suspected spies rather than in courts. He said the policy would be a strong deterrent to others.

As AP reported it was the “beginning of a new crackdown, under the rallying cry of “choking the necks of the collaborators.””

The actions followed an Israeli strike killing 3 senior Hamas military leaders.

So they are setting a deterrent now, are they? When the civilized — read humane — world now deals with terrorists, they should summarily establish stiff deterrents “in the field” as Hamas put it. They seem to believe in the idea of deterrents.

Truce deal between Israel & Gaza

Islamic Jihad: Truce Deal With Israel Next Monday

Terror group says an agreement will be signed at the end of the current ceasefire, confirms Israeli concessions.
By Ari Yashar | 8/15/2014 | Arutz Sheva

An Islamic Jihad spokesperson on Friday claimed that a truce deal with Israel will be signed as soon the current five-day ceasefire ends next Monday at midnight.

“We expect a complete truce agreement to be signed right as the five-day ceasefire ends. The delegation has made much progress in ending the siege and the offensive on Palestinians,” Yousef al-Hasayneh told the Palestinian Arab Ma’an News Agency.

Al-Hasayneh said that the current ceasefire extension was agreed to on Wednesday night to give the Egyptian intermediaries time to remove “technical issues” blocking a final agreement.

The Islamic Jihad terrorist confirmed numerous reports that the proposed truce deal would ease the blockade on Gaza, expand the naval fishing zone, and allow construction materials into the Hamas terror enclave. He also confirmed that discussion on the issue of a sea and airport in Gaza would be postponed for a month after the agreement.

While US President Barack Obama’s government has reportedly been pressuring Israel to agree to a truce deal, al-Hasayneh said “we, as the Islamic Jihad, are not interested in American sponsorship because we do not trust the United States, the partner of Israel, who supplies them with arms and money.”

In fact, Obama’s administration recently blocked a missile shipment to Israel according to a Wall Street Journal report on Wednesday night, and ordered greater scrutiny on future weapons transfers. /….

Right, construction materials and blockade changes and, supposedly, without disarming measures. But it is interesting to hear Gaza cannot continue with the war.

The statements come after Islamic Jihad second-in-command Ziad Nahala said Friday the war with Israel is “behind us,” adding “we have no choice but to reach a truce agreement.”

“The great destruction caused by the war obligates us to leave this (war) status,” said Nahala.

White House delaying Israel shipments

Obama’s ‘Unprecedented’ Support of Israel Includes Blocking Arms

Administration admits it is reviewing arms shipments to Israel during conflict

BY: Adam Kredo | Washington Free Beacon

The Obama administration confirmed on Thursday reports that it had, in an unusual move, proactively stepped in to hold up arms shipments to Israel for further review as the current conflict in the Gaza strip continues.

State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf confirmed to reporters the accuracy of reports published in both the United States and Israel revealing that the White House was subjecting to further review Israeli requests for ammunition shipments, which typically have not needed explicit White House approval.

The added reviews on the munitions shipments prompted accusations that the White House is punishing Israel and injecting partisan politics into a military process typically unaffected by diplomacy issues between the two allies.

Well, Obama and his anti-Israel politics at it again.

And in protests in the US — as perpetual “victims”

And no, I didn’t even mention China or N. Korea.

Ansar al-Sharia groups in the North Africa’s Tunisia and Libya have posted pro-ISIL propaganda online. And jihadists in Gaza are siding with al-Baghdadi. ***

*The U.S.-led incursion into Libya in 2011 emboldened a new breed of Islamist extremists—young, eager and brutal—wanting to take control. In addition they have infiltrated the Maghreb and Sahel regions in Africa, and the Middle East. Al-Qaeda’s mission of destroying western interests will continue, while the newer Islamist groups have a more territorial plan–creating Islamic states, ruled under Sharia law.

New recruits have been inspired by radical Wahhabist and Salafist clerics believing Islam has been disenfranchised and want to create a caliphate, taking the region back to the 12th century when Islam reigned under Sultan Saladin, and more recent past under the Ottoman Empire. The irrational borders created by the European powers after World War I separated tribes and religious factions, which is at the heart of the conflicts today, with everyone wanting their piece of the turf.

Christians persecuted, killed and systematic cleansing around the world. Accompanied by silence from Muslims worldwide.

And Muzzies want to cry about “Islamo-PHOBIA”? The very last, and I do mean last, problem the US or the world has is Islamophobia. Put that in your caliphate.

Carter emerges on ceasefire, right on cue

Jimmy Carter calls for recognizing terror group Hamas

Jim Michaels, USA TODAY | August 5, 2014

Former president Jimmy Carter called on the West to recognize the U.S.-designated terrorist group Hamas as a legitimate “political actor” that represents the bulk of the Palestinian population.

I’m back …just in time.

Carter made the comments in an article he co-wrote with former Irish president Mary Robinson in a new issue of Foreign Policy magazine. It was published as a cease-fire took hold Tuesday after four weeks of fighting between Israel and Hamas, which governs Gaza.

In a sharply worded rebuke to Israel, Carter and Robinson said, “There is no humane or legal justification for the way the Israeli Defense Forces are conducting this war.

Israel launched an air and ground offensive into Gaza in response to Hamas militants firing rockets from Gaza into Israel. The Palestinian Health Ministry said nearly 1,900 Palestinians, most civilians, have died in the fighting. Israel said 64 of its soldiers and three civilians were killed.

Hamas, the United Nations and the United States have condemned Israel for strikes on schools used as shelters that have caused many civilian casualties. The United Nations, the United States and Israel have accused Hamas of hiding weapons in schools and other civilian locations.

Carter has emerged in recent years as an outspoken critic of Israel, taking provocative stands on the long-running Mideast conflict.

Following Carter’s advice to recognize Hamas would alienate Israel, undermine Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, a more moderate figure who governs the West Bank, and anger the Egyptians, who helped negotiate a cease-fire between Hamas and Israel, Miller said.

So Jimma is back in the news, surprise surprise! He wasted no time jumping on Israel. But then he just puts voice to Obama’s actions. I’m only surprised ol’ Jimma is not booked solid with all the Antisemitic protests taking place. He must be in high demand. But that’s probably why he had to spread it in a national op-ed, just to get the word out.

Let’s start with the real lack of “humane or legal justification” for Hamas’ actions. Oh he cares nothing about that. I know someone who cannot be wished away.

Netanyahu sends message to Obama WH

Don’t second guess me again: Netanyahu to US.

NY Post | AP | August 2, 2014

WASHINGTON — Following the quick collapse of the cease-fire in Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the White House not to force a truce with Palestinian militants on Israel.

Sources familiar with conversations between Netanyahu and senior U.S. officials, including Secretary of State John Kerry, say the Israeli leader advised the Obama administration “not to ever second guess me again” on the matter. The officials also said Netanyahu said he should be “trusted” on the issue and about the unwillingness of Hamas to enter into and follow through on cease-fire talks.

The Obama administration on Friday condemned “outrageous” violations of an internationally brokered Gaza cease-fire by Palestinian militants and called the apparent abduction of an Israeli soldier a “barbaric” action.

Plot on Israel discovered

Security Sources Say Hamas Planned a Massive ‘Terror Tunnels’ Attack for September 24

Sharona Schwartz | The Blaze

The Israel Defense Forces have uncovered so far more than 30 tunnels meticulously dug over years by Hamas as a means to infiltrate under the border from Gaza and launch attacks on Israel.

Now, the Israeli newspaper Ma’ariv has reported one brazen and chilling way Hamas had been planning to use its tunnels before Israel began uncovering some of them this week and dismantling them.

Quoting unnamed Israeli security sources, Ma’ariv reported that the plan was to send 200 terrorists through each tunnel simultaneously – using dozens of tunnels – to six Israeli communities in southern Israel for a shocking attack on the Jewish high holiday of Rosh Hashanah which this year begins on September 24.

Once there, the Hamas gunman planned to kill or kidnap as many Israelis as possible and bring the latter back to Gaza with them, again via the tunnels.

Anti-Israel protests

Anti-Israel protesters rally across France, defying ban imposed after synagogue clash

Thousands march through French cities in protest of Israeli operation in Gaza Strip; French president says will not allow violence to spill over into France.
By Nicholas Vinocur, Joe Bavier Jul. 19, 2014

REUTERS – Thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters marched in French cities on Saturday to condemn violence in Gaza, defying a ban imposed after demonstrators marched on two synagogues in Paris last weekend and clashed with riot police.

A Reuters photographer said demonstrators in northern Paris launched projectiles at riot police, who responded by firing teargas canisters and stun grenades.

Demonstrators also climbed on top of a building and burned an Israeli flag. At least one car was set on fire.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has contributed to growing tensions between France’s Muslim and Jewish populations, both of which are the largest in Europe.

In the first three months of 2014 more Jews left France for Israel than at any other time since the Jewish state was created in 1948, with many citing rising anti-Semitism as a factor.

Paris isn’t just for lovers anymore. One commenter dubbed it Paristan.I think that sums it up. How far from that is the US or other countries?

Churches stand with extremist politics over Israel

To all you churches, clergy and hierarchy, et al: are you proud of yourselves now? (you know who you are) Are you satisfied with the fruits of your efforts over the past few years? You are reaping the harvest you have sown and participated in.

You have not fooled us all in your political maneuvers. It’s time to ante up and face your actions. You have defended so-called Palestinians in their war against Israel. You have petitioned our government and Congress to stop and audit aid to Israel.

You called on UN to take actions against Israel, and complained publicly about human rights abuses. Despite Israel’s respectful protest, you organized and participated in boycotts — aka BDS movement. You have divested your organizations of stocks in Israeli contractors and independent companies that do business with Israel.

(NYT) The Christian leaders’ letter acknowledged that both Israelis and Palestinians had suffered, and that both sides bore responsibility. But it called for an investigation into only Israel’s activities.

The Jewish leaders said such an approach was a double standard. The Palestinian Authority also receives foreign aid from the United States and has also been accused of rights violations, they said.

“Where’s the letter to Congress about Syria, which is massacring its own people?” said Rabbi Steven Wernick, the chief executive of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. “When Israel is the only one that is called to account, that’s when it becomes problematic.”

All this in an orchestrated attempt to hurt both Israel and those it does business with. If that is not enough, you allied yourselves with some of the most extreme political elements of the radical Left, both here and internationally.

The Jewish leaders were shocked not just by the content of the letter, but also by the fact that the Christian leaders had not given them any warning. Both sides have been participating for eight years in a Christian-Jewish Round Table designed to heal wounds over the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It was Monday’s meeting that the Jewish leaders canceled.

You publicly pursued this agenda while representing thousands, if not millions, of people under your leaderships. You justified this under the guise of social justice, and Christian principles. You even introduced the ideas supporting and celebrating these actions in your regional conferences. All that brings us up to date with present circumstances.

Now Israel has been under attack for weeks of daily rocket fire. In one recent barrage, there were 40 rockets in 20 minutes in one area. That is two rockets per minute or one every 30 seconds. As a response to the rockets, Israeli citizens are under constant air raid alarms and warnings.

Then came justified defensive responses from Israel on the Gaza and so-called Palestinian sources. 1000+ rockets were fired upon Israel before this action. They waited ten days before going in on the ground to stop these attacks. Yet at least twice during Hamas-led Palestinian offenses — armed by Iran — our US government and President have contacted Israel calling for restraint. Obama pleaded to minimize damage on structure and lives. That while the Hamas/Palestinian objective is always the destruction of innocent lives, and maximizing the damage.

So these churches, clergy and leaders, as well as the other organizations that allied themselves against Israel for months and years, have culpability in this outcome. To many people, indeed Christians, this was predictable. You allied yourselves with those calling for Israel’s destruction and listed as terrorists by our government and others.

You may argue it was not the churches directly but activists within tied to them. Except that they operated in positions of leadership while gloatingly participating in activism and appeared to represent their members.

Now it has come to harvest, and the results of those efforts are clear to those who have eyes to see. The churches have blood on their own hands for further fueling conditions through advocacy and de facto sanctions of Israel. Nonetheless, you have chosen sides. The present circumstances place blame on your hands.

How long can you continue in this bias direction? I hope your collective conscience and financial portfolios are satisfied. These are the results. You have blame on your hands

Sderot, Israel under steady fire

Sderot, Israel has been hit by 5000 rockets over the decade. Name another place or country in the world subject to that.

This view of a Sderot neighborhood is from a hill outside town. Hamas wants to make this a “ghost town,” but so far all they’ve done is to strengthen the resolve of those who live here, and help create a population that can live under a rain of rockets and still keep going.

But do we hear the bleeding heart Left on campuses and media in the US calling for an end to it? Do we see student protests organized at universities signing petitions or calling for divestment and boycotts? Just a rhetorical question. (I think you know)

Welcome to Sderot. A sign welcomes visitors with a counting of the kassam rockets which have fallen on Sderot or nearby.

NYU students protest surreptitious Israel boycott conference on campus

By MAYA SHWAYDER — 03/01/2014 | Jerusalem Post
26 students and student leaders from the school’s Democrat and Republican groups send protest letter to school president. (protesting the BDS movement)

[NYU] NEW YORK – The American Studies Association hosted a large pro-Boycott, Divest, Sanction at New York University from Friday night to Saturday evening, sparking a backlash from NYU students, who wrote a letter of protest to the school’s administration.

The ASA-BDS event, which coincided with Israeli Apartheid Week in New York and was titled “Circuits of Influence: US, Israel and Palestine,” was not widely publicized and was closed to the press.

“We are immensely disappointed with both the nature of this event and how it has been met with complete silence from the NYU administration,” the letter said, citing the fact that invitations to the event were extremely selective and the event itself features only pro-BDS, anti-Israeli speakers.

US Student organizations boycotting Israeli academic institutions

[Daily Sundial] California State University (CSU) Chancellor Timothy White made a statement in early January denouncing a controversial move by a major academic association to boycott academic partnerships and investments made between American and Israeli universities.

In December 2013, the American Studies Association (ASA) joined a small, but growing number of academic associations calling for academic divestment from Israeli universities, which can mean cutting financial support to and ending partnerships and exchange programs with Israeli higher institutions. The ASA resolved to do so in protest of Israel’s treatment of Palestinians, which the organization described as violating “human rights and international law.”

Academic divestment is inspired by a worldwide political movement known as the Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) of Israel, started by Palestinian organizations in 2005. BDS protests Israel’s controversial policies toward the occupied territories of Palestine — the Gaza strip and the West Bank — by encouraging individuals and organizations to financially and symbolically boycott the state of Israel. Its goal is put enough pressure on Israel to cease their policies. More

No Universities have formally signed on to the ‘academic divestment’ campaign. However, aside from this California University, their collective silence on the movement agenda is deafening. But only when the few who stand up to protest the agenda does it get any attention. That’s only coupled with the lack of attention about the rockets flying, and the intercepted shipments by Israelis.

Rockets fly again on Israel

JERUSALEM (AP) — The Palestinian militant group Islamic Jihad said Thursday it had agreed to halt a wave of rocket fire on Israel, signaling an end to the heaviest fighting between the sides since 2012, though soon after the announcement two rockets fired from Gaza exploded inside Israel.

The Islamic Jihad denied it launched the attack and it wasn’t immediately unclear who fired the rockets. Cease-fire declarations have not always been honored by militants and the barrage raised doubts about the cease-fire offer made by Islamic Jihad.

“Our policy in the south is clear. We harm those who try to harm us and respond fiercely to any attack,” Netanyahu said. “The terrorist groups in Gaza need to understand that they are dealing with a very determined government and a very strong army.”

Videos: Following Gaza’s Ceasefire, Cleveland Rally Calls For the Destruction of Israel

IPT News

November 26, 2012

Anti-Israel protests and demonstrations were held throughout the United States following the start of the Israel-Gaza conflict earlier this month. On Wednesday November 21st Al-Awda The Palestine Right to Return Coalition’s Cleveland, OH chapter organized a rally in downtown Cleveland calling for the destruction of Israel.

Al-Awda is a radical Palestinian organization dedicated to advancing the agenda that the Israeli state should not exist. Al-Awda advocates “the rights of all Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and lands of origin, and to full restitution of all their confiscated and destroyed property,” according to the organization’s website. The group’s logo is a picture of the map of Israel and a key. […]

The Obama Doctrine: Terrorists R “U.S.”

Stanley Zir Author
Susannah North Editor

Which part of my statement below do Democrats and Republicans alike refuse to believe about the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran?

Fascism is the ultimate expression of absolute power; deception and the absence of accountability are its greatest allies. Since lies are the tools that fascists use to complete their circuitry of deceit, any statements issued from the leaders of these governments or their supporters can be never be believed or validated. The only thing that can be substantiated is the total absence of people’s inalienable rights.

Congratulations America, The Muslim Brotherhood, a subordinate of Iran, a criminal enterprise that supports the overthrow of Israel, supports Hamas, is now America’s primary partner to broker peace in the Middle East. This is what happens when you wave the white flag of surrender to Islam by not challenging Obama’s foreign policy.

While Obama was parading around Southeast Asia to promote his social and economic justice doctrine to counteract the threat from his more entrenched Chinese communist pro-Marxist brethrens’ agenda, our closest ally, Israel, was defending itself by launching an attack on the terrorist organization in Gaza. Again Mr. No-Show waited before throwing Israel the proverbial crumb, “we support you all the way” (that is, all the way up until a ground war, to defeat an enemy that is determined to destroy Israel ).

Then, like something from out of the pages of The Arabian Nights Hilary Clinton flew in on her magic carpet to broker a peace with Hamas and Israel through Mohammed Morsi. Yet not one news agency said “A peace agreement with Mohammed Morsi, Iran’s terrorist surrogate and a champion of Hamas.” No, just praise that Hillary Clinton could achieve a cease fire agreement, one that would give Gaza open ports so terrorist can get more missiles in their quest to destroy Israel and provide Iran an advantage in her psychological war against Israel. That and promise that Israel will not kill any more of their terrorist leaders.

America,  we cannot keep downgrading Israel from a nation of freedom-loving people into a bargaining chip in order to satisfy any part of a political agenda that green lights the destruction of Israel in the hope of establishing a peaceful co-existence with the oil-rich tyrannical nations of the Arabian Peninsula. Yet that is exactly what is being done. This is a policy that not only dooms Israel to extinction, but will lead to the destruction of the moral fabric that binds America to its own humanity.

We must never honor despotism’s hunger for conquest and bloodshed if we ourselves wish to remain free. Those who endorse and embrace hate were, and are, not victims; they are the perpetrators of violence, and should not be coddled, but vanquished.

That is why the time has come to arise and stand with Israel in order to protect the nation that keeps the sacred Covenant with G-d intact. It is this Covenant that produced the laws that became the foundation of an ethical and moral imperative, without which the consummation of liberty’s documents could never have been actualized. And, it is this spiritual bond, encoded in America’s documents of freedom, which binds Israel and America to a common endeavor resulting in the ongoing quest to secure a world free from the forces of tyranny and oppression

How can an American President (who should be the Defender of our Constitution), champion a foreign policy that aligns America with nations and political movements that are determined to eliminate our precious rights in Allah’s name?’

In “Obama’s No Fear Zone,” I wrote, “It is because Obama paints America, the defender of freedom, as though she is the offender. He treats Iran, the Muslim Brotherhood and the rest of these renegades as if they were the victims of America’s aggression, as if they need some special consideration, as if invasion, conquest, and nation building with the goal of global jihad are somehow a defensive posture, an  appropriate response to America’s foreign policy.”   And the Obama Doctrine, “Terrorists are R’ U.S.” completely exemplifies this position that America is responsible for the Islamic nations hatred against us, not their addiction to tyranny’s hateful edicts.

“When Obama invited the Muslim Brotherhood to the White House he turned his back on America and Israel, and gave the seal of approval to radical Islam. The Brotherhood embraces a more radical form of Islamic tyranny than that of the deposed Mubarak. Yet, Obama demanded that Mubarak step down.”

Now that Egyptian President Morsi has proclaimed his intention to seize absolute power by dismissing the judiciary, will Obama ask Morsi, like Mubarak before him, to step down? Or does Obama still believe that the Muslim Brotherhood and their partner Ahmadinejad can be an honest broker for peace in the Middle East?

America and Israel can no longer afford to be sabotaged by fraudulent proposals cloaked in the name of peace and ever hope to survive. Now, as with America’s Founding Fathers, America must declare her independence from Obama’s current policies which bind our nation to tyranny’s diabolical edicts . If we cannot stop the Muslim Brotherhood, then how can we stop Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who must not be given the opportunity to accomplish his unequivocally-announced and pursued goal.

America needs a new guideline for its foreign policy, we need a new point of departure, one that honors our nation’s protocol, our eternal stance against the advancement of global tyranny.

This was explained at length in the essays “Obama’s No Fear Zone” and “Where is the Cavalry?” I suggest you revisit these essays, for we must embark on a new path one that guarantees America’s victory over those who have compromised our core beliefs.

Thank you,
Stanley Zir

Each death represents a human tragedy.

Exposed: Pallywood Returns to Gaza

November 15, 2012 15:46 by Simon Plosker

What happens when the cameras turn up at the scene of an airstrike in Gaza and there simply aren’t enough Palestinian dead and injured to produce dramatic footage that can be used against Israel in the international media? We’ve seen it before. Palestinians who appear to be injured or even dead for the benefit of the TV cameras turn out to be nothing of the sort once they are no longer the focus.

This is all the more so in Gaza, where Palestinian stringers are often filming in the absence of international news crews.

The example below is taken from a BBC interview on the targeted killing of Hamas military commander Ahmed Jabari. During the interview (full version here), footage from Gaza is shown. At 2:11 mins in, a Palestinian in a beige jacket and black T-shirt, presumably injured in the aftermath of an Israeli airstrike, is picked up and taken away. Yet at 2:44 mins, the same Palestinian has staged a remarkable recovery.

We’ve taken the relevant footage so that you can see for yourself.
