The man of No Hope n No Change reflects on his factor of “Me”

“The next phase and this is part of what I’m interested in doing, after I get out of the presidency, is to make sure that I’m working with that next generation so that they understand you can’t just rely on inspiration,” Obama said.

Washington Examiner

Taking “some responsibility” for the losses suffered by the Democratic Party during his eight years in the White House, President Obama suggested that his lack of presence on the campaign trail was a decisive factor.

I think it is high time. Obama clearly needs an intervention to stop him. Will he get one?

So “you can’t just rely on inspiration.” This guy makes me sick. Don’t tell that to all the drones who got you to the White House. Obama didn’t even have much inspiration either.

The real problem is Obama did show up… boy did he — in 2008-2016, everywhere.

Is anybody out there?

Dear diary,

Well, I’m writing to you today to tell you how pissed off I am….. er how depressed and pissed off I am. Now I don’t mean to bring you down — bad enough you don’t have a choice on listening. Sorry I can’t be more upbeat for you. Some friend I am.

But hey, since you are a captive audience I thought I’d let it rip. I know most people probably complain about last night’s dinner, or that last electric bill, or that traffic jam on the way home from work after they stopped off to buy their Chunky Monkey ice cream. I kind of wish I had those problems.

You probably don’t know what its like to talk to someone for 3 minutes until you realize they don’t know what the hell you’re talking about, much less care. Or when you mention some current event only to realize they don’t have a clue about it, so you end up being the bearer of bad news. Then you feel guilty for messing up their otherwise beautiful day. So they blame you, the messenger! No, you wouldn’t know about that, would you?

We have a pretender in the White House but we are surrounded by a circle of truth-challengd activists who actually do his/their bidding. You probably saw my sock puppet criticism. A nation of sock puppets. Those of us with some sanity left are just livid at what they have done to our Republic. It was by no means perfect before but what they have done defies reasoning. Yet we are considered the crazy ones, extremists, the problem, the wackos, the trouble makers, the nut-jobs. Funny how they can pull that off credibly.

So that is the situation here, not very comforting. That’s been the condition for the last six years. The future is no less bleak. Now, with only 2 years left in this regime, they are doing their damnedest to make sure we have no more choice in our situation then than we have at present. Not very encouraging, I know.

Did I forget to mention, they want to destroy any sense of individuality at the voting booth? They have people voting on their skin color, or the ethnicity, or their sexuality, or their income, even reproductive organs. But anyone else who refuses to be pigeon-holed is marginalized as a bigot, extremist, or a hater. And Christians, well, if they don’t fit the mold of the “liberal” orthodoxy and the emerging church, they are discarded as heretics.

On a positive note, if there is one, I’m starting to see more and more people awakened to all the political failures. So far its more of an elephant in the room, but people cannot put their finger on what the nasty smell is yet. They seem to think it must have always been there… just that they haven’t noticed it before.

Surprisingly enough, Islam and Muslims have hijacked our political system and public debate in the country. Meanwhile, more people are being murdered around the world for their Christian faith in the name of Islam. Seems they never learned anything from Jefferson. In fact, they just announced a new caliphate, and even that did not cause much of a reaction in many places, and others rushed to join. I guess they figure its a new social networking tool. ( #hashtag – like us on facebook)

Even as bad, this political caliphate in the US has everyone believing energy is some kind of evil. Anything involving energy has to be run through a P/C decoder in order to approve it. And elsewhere, we’ve even found hospitals that were burning aborted babies for fuel.(at least we think they were aborted) They didn’t appreciate that being exposed. I don’t know if they considered it green or not? Though it could be Sharia compliant, but we’re still waiting for word on that.

The new trend is social justice. It seems that riots in the streets and violence to property is the definition of social justice. There sure is a lot of it being meted out. I haven’t seen so much justice since the 60’s. Well, I don’t want to bring you down, but this sure is not the paradise they claimed it would be. We all waited to see “hope and change” only to hope it changes. It’s not very hop-y if you ask me, but they don’t so I don’t tell them.

I guess I have to close now to leave plenty of time for prayer. These days there is a whole lot to pray about, for, and relief from. Mostly though let’s just pray we can fix the damage being done — with only divine help from above because our attempts aren’t cutting it.

I’ll keep you posted. Maybe I can bring you a little positive news next time. I know you could use some too.

Until then, Love and Blessings… ’cause the world isn’t handing out those.

Obama foreign policy insanity

Many people will remember back in the 80’s those commercials for Crazy Eddie’s electronics stores in the greater NYC area. If not, here’s a reminder.
(“Dr Jerry” Carroll was the pitch man, not Eddie.”) “His prices are insaaaane!”

“People want hope and dreams, we’ll sell them hope and dreams,” Eddie said.

Obama’s foreign policy has no better analogy than that. His policies are insane. The problem is the whole world knows it and is on to him. The deals are “insane”. So everyone wants to make one of those crazy deals that they could not get in American history before. He’s practically giving away the store, deals are that good.

Dropping the missile defense program in Europe for nothing was one such deal, who could refuse that? Then telling Medvedev to relay the message to Russia that after his “last election” he would be [even] more flexible was yet another insane gesture.

Then there’s Iran negotiations. We should have had one of those ads in 2012.

But eventually people caught on to the massive fraud going on under the Crazy Eddie name. Here’s a brief documentary on the Crazy Eddie story. Note the parallels.

We can only hope to see Obama’s fraud collapse around him. Any one of his scandals is only a microcosm of the whole — but the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Benghazi gave us the indicative hint that that there was only a wall of politics going on in place of substance. And that was just the campaign season for a second term.

Can we all say “insane”? Everyone is probably looking to cash in on the Obama phenomena while he’s still around. It’s like a sign hanging out there, and every foreign leader knows this is the best time in history to get a deal of the century and take us to the cleaners. Stick it to America with no consequences. “Get us some.” Team Obama will not care; it just gave them what they wanted, as if it had no other choice. But that was the scam all along, to give away the store, except team Obama are the ones laughing.

The old “bait and switch” campaign at home.

But what we got is Obama’s SOTU speech telling us he will do end-runs around Congress, and half of Congress stood up and cheered him. “I’ve got a pen, and I’ve got a phone.” Meanwhile, his deals to everyone else are insane. Blame a video for the Benghazi attack, don’t label Boko Haram terrorists. Don’t secure the borders, release illegals and criminals from prison. Loosen sanctions on Iran, and threaten Congress not to even “talk” about strengthening them. Kerry accuses Israel of apartheid. All in a day’s insanity.

Detroit to DC, same ol’ same

Tim Alberta wrote an extensive article in the National Journal about Detroit. You can see it here. In it, he compared Detroit to lots of things. He said the new mayor, Duggan — white in a predominately black city — should have the worst job in the world. But he goes on to make the case that in reality he actually has the best job in the world. Why is that?

Because there is such a lack of hope, and prior administrations were so inept and corrupt(my words), that all of it set expectations so low. With that, he really is not expected to make leaps and bounds, certainly not right away, but if he just manages to deliver the essentials for the city to run he could be hailed as a success. And that is the thought that grabbed me.

Many of us know the condition of the federal government full well, well enough not to expect fast turn around or streets paved in gold — though maybe they should be with what we are spending. No, its the place where hopes have been dashed. Prosperity might be scattered about, but in certain areas. It is not the general rule. The expenses of just functioning on a normal- for Washington – level seems to be an accomplishment for them. They have reduced the bar in Washington, too. The expectations are down. Can they, in fact, do anything constructive or good at all? Or is everything they are capable of tainted by cronyism and corrupt influences, money and scandals galore?

There is a real danger in politics, we now know. We had the classic example in Obama. He ran on supernatural hope and change. He lifted the naive hopes of people far and wide. They didn’t even know what they were hoping for. They placed their hopes in a man… a man without a record of accomplishment at all except for being elected. And we know that merely getting elected is not the be-all end-all for leadership, much less governing.

Still, they placed all their hope in a man from Chicago that claimed he could slow the rising tides and heal the planet. He claimed to be transparent when nothing he’d ever done was transparent – he is the antithesis to transparency. And they believed his claims. They said he was change you can believe in.

Then afterward he did nothing but blame others. It was not others that put those promises in his mouth. It was not others who made him lie. Yet all he had was a bitter campaign of blame. He carried that into office and relied on it through his term. It was not about what you can do anymore, it was only about who got the blame. As long as he didn’t let the blame stick to his shoes, he deemed it a success.

You see, all that some people are looking for in Detroit is the impression that things are being done: garbage is being picked up, roads plowed, trains and buses running. That is a success in itself. Sure Obama has a few times tried to lower expectations but that is to change everything about Obama. He built his legacy before he even took office on rose-colored achievements. He was given the Nobel Peace Prize on expectations.

Now those expectations have all faded into the sunset. His legacy he had written before, like some prophet, is in tatters.Detroit has at least accepted the tatters. They are part of the landscape, a daily reminder. They know they have been beaten. They are being realists while the Obamanoids are in denial. How long can denial last? Look at Detroit, it probably has the answer to that too.

Protesters in Kiev – “Hang the Commie!”

This is what happens when politicians ignore reality and try to turn back the clock. Give them credit, is something similar in our future?

Look at the “deal” they made with Iran. The regime sees congress as a bigger threat than Iran. It’s a matter of misguided priorities and willful ignorance.

By Terresa Monroe Hamilton – the NoisyRoom

Sergey Ponomarev for The New York Times

Madness, mayhem and commies… Need I say more? Oh, but you know I will as this is where I believe we are heading. The Ukrainian people, cheering loudly, pulled down their Lenin statue and took a hammer to it that Thor would have been proud of. Good times:

KIEV, Ukraine — Public protests thundered into a full-throttle civil uprising in Ukraine on Sunday, as hundreds of thousands of protesters answered President Viktor F. Yanukovich’s dismissiveness with their biggest rally so far, demanding that he and his government resign.

At the height of the unrest on Sunday night, a seething crowd toppled and smashed a statue of Lenin, the most prominent monument to the Communist leader in Kiev. The act was heavy with symbolism, underscoring the protesters’ rage at Russia over its role in the events…

Billy Graham speaks out

Rev. Billy Graham Prepares ‘Perhaps … My Last Message’

Sunday, 06 Oct 2013 09:46 PM | Newsmax

By David A. Patten

“Our early fathers led our nation according to biblical principles,” Graham wrote in response. “‘Hope and change’ has become a cliché in our nation, and it is daunting to think that any American could hope for change from what God has blessed,” he stated, an obvious reference to Obama’s campaign motto.

“Our country is turning away from what has made it so great,” he continued, “but far greater than the government knowing our every move that could lead to losing our freedom to worship God publicly, is to know that God knows our every thought; he knows our hearts need transformation.”

The Faith-based Campaign

Programming note:

We interrupt this broadcast of “Hope and Change” to bring you a Truth special.

Next week we may show Dallas in this time slot.
We apologize for any inconvenience.

It’s always disturbed me, Obama’s zealous assault on Christians and matters of faith.(or those with deeply held beliefs according to Schumer) The obvious fact that cannot be disputed is his ’08 “Hope and Change” campaign was a faith-based campaign. Try as they might this is just fact. That is why it is fascinating, albeit contradicting.

A faith-based campaign and a faith-based candidate.

Of course, his problem now is running the same faith-based campaign despite what we have already seen, witnessed, and analyzed not to mention what has yet to be verified. His faith-based campaign now looks like a bad magic show: it takes a lot of faith and hope just to entertain the illusion. Still that is what his campaign demands from people.

George Bush may have had a “faith-based initiative”, which even many Christians disagreed with, but Obama has an entire faith-based presidency. Funny how easy the left accepts his campaign, yet it was highly critical and skeptical about a “faith-based initiative”. I digress…

What is now at the fore is to rerun the faith-based campaign because Obama has not proven their ‘faith and hope’ to be grounded in reality. His dopey message is still based on “faith”. “Keep believing in me”. It must continue to be based on faith, hope and some interpretation of change.”The show must go on”. In 08, they voted for hope and change; now they must hope he changes. But he won’t, like every other socialist demagogue the left holds up on a pedestal, from Carter to Gore to Kerry and all points around them.

When Dems looked at Obama through their faith-coded glasses they marginalized or ignored any facts to the contrary from the beginning, and there were a pile. With all that ignored, they kept their faith not just in what he said and promised, but in their personal beliefs of what he would be and do. It was out in bizarre land.

Now, armed with all the failures of his term and their shattered hopes, they pick up the pieces and ignore any which don’t fit their starry-eyed optimism of “hope and change”. Media has done that better than Obama could have imagined. So now he is back to a faith-based campaign, regardless what Obama wants to call it. And he’s back on college campuses telling them to keep their faith in him.

There is some rational reason to his campaigning there, beside pandering to the young vote. Most of these major campuses are in areas where the Dems hold a majority anyway. So its mostly preaching to his choir – outside Philly, in metropolitan areas, Boston, DC area, etc. Ah, those incubators for liberalism, but which are also suffering economically like the country is.

So are we witnessing the twilight of the faith-based campaign era?(…yet)

Stock in Hope and Change Declines

… for 3rd year in a row

 Squandered hope and no change

WASHINGTON—President Barack Obama is getting a little help from former President Bill Clinton at a trio of campaign fundraisers in New York.

The presidential duo will speak at a high-dollar fundraiser at a private home, headline a gala at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel and end the night at an event dubbed “Barack on Broadway” at the New Amsterdam Theatre.

It never ceases to amaze me how much lib-progs have invested in Obama, Barry Soetoro, or whoever he really is. And progs don’t seem to care who he is either. They’ve had their fun and their day in the sun. Now the clouds gather and they’ll have to find another celebrity idol to put their faith in as this one winds down his usefulness. But don’t expect Obama to go quietly into the night. That’s why what he is doing now – raising money and campaigning – is so important for his future. It’s just practice for his second act after leaving, when he returns to the Chicago area to build his library.

He’ll need all the help he can get. Yesterday he seemed to be making a trial run at the job. He did a pick-pocket tour through New York City. Three stops in Manhattan in one evening should have netted him a nice piece of change. Any panhandler should take note; there is a technique to it. Never humble yourself while raising big money. Always keep your nose firmly planted in the clouds (when not filled with blow that is) Keep your lips and feet moving at all times, when not in transit between gigs. Always smile while extracting the cash; it makes the donors feel better, like they’re getting something for their bucks.

In reality the money is only feeding his perpetual campaign. The “Hope’n Change” Show should be winding down its three-year tour in November, so those wanting a last look at the star-studded phenomena are scrambling before they pull the final curtain.

But not to worry, when those lights do go down over the Obama show, the Panhandler-in-Chief will still be busy raising cashola, and still trying to suck all the oxygen out the room. You’ll find him some place out there with his tin cup hanging out. Old narcissists don’t die, they don’t even fade away, they just buy bigger mirrors.
