Democrat Dream Candidates

Identity politics has had a head-on collision with reality. It’s too early to know the full outcome yet. It seems the investigation is still underway. Results will take time.

Democrats have long played the identity politics game and 2016 was a perfect case. But a strange twist is happening they probably had not anticipated. And it might just affect the 2020 election and not in a positive way.

You know the rules and the way it works. Democrats only see identity when they pander to voters. Elections are the whole purpose, The group rules, individuals are just fuel.

So it has all worked in their political strategy the way they wanted it to. But the campaign is already heating up to decide which person. (at least I think they are all people) They have two old guys in the top slots for starters. That is Bernie an Biden leading the pack.

But both these guys are old and white, right? Well that doesn’t play well. There is no identity gimmick to that. The voices of dissent are already rising from their mob. They say it does not represent a preferred identity. They see room for one of the other identities.

S0 it got me thinking. Democrats also have that other identity game going. Actually, it represents more of a problem. They pandered to LGBTQs, gays or any of the others.

However, the trans community has also been playing identity politics. They developed a new thing I will call sexual choice. According to theory a person has the right to claim how he/she identifies, as a personal preference, which must be respected by everyone. Example: Bob decides he identifies as a woman and his new name is now Judy. It is all biology irrelevant so no matter what he claims is his/her accepted identity.

And how one identifies decides everything. No questions.

Now you have these two old white guys — not to forget Warren and Gillibrand. What could two old white guys need to do to spice up their identities? Maybe they could try the new identifies game. I mean it is all about preference, right?

Well, maybe Bernie could identify as a young male rapper? How about a young biracial male rapper? He does have a hand gesture going for him. Why not? What is preventing Joe from identifying as a Latino? Whatever they are comfortable with goes. (for as long as they are) And no one should be able to question their choice of identity, right? Joe might go with the female version to align it with restroom preference.

And that is the way this whole race could go now, using the left’s preference rules. Actually, under that standard they could even change identities again if they wanted. It is whatever works for them. Who could argue? Maybe the first gender-neutral candidate?

See how opportunistic this all can be? Why can we see a problem there but Democrat dumbos cannot, or will not admit to it anyway? That is where we are headed.

Looks like liberals have taken the 60’s sexual, counterculture revolution and kicked it up a few notches. Now everyone must play according to their preferences. It’s identity limbo.

Plantation Politics: an appeal to the left

After years watching politics, the one thing that still bugs me more than almost anything is the left’s paradigm of identity politics. I know the right knows all about this. But for the sake of it, I want to frame it in speaking to the left. They’ll never read it but so what?

There are either denials about the use of identity politics or shrugs that both sides do it that it is just politics. It isn’t just politics, but has become just politics as usual.

So Democrats, forget your phony emotions for a second. The Democrat Party and elected Democrats don’t care about you. (stomach that) They don’t. They only care about your identity group. Even that is a shell game, as phony as their compassion for you.

That’s just the way it is. They are pretty proud of that, too. The proof is all over every Democrat’s campaign. Here is the big nut you are also forced to swallow. In turn for your part in this “process,” you are expected to vote with your identity group.

You are not an individual. You are a member of an identity group or identities. You are of no relevance or use to the party as an individual. (neither are your ideas) You will be expected to vote for and with your group(s). And your identity group will be expected to support the Democrat Party. Why isn’t that a disclosure on all their party literature?

This is plantation politics. I know you don’t like that term, but that’s what it is. You will never have an individual voice or say, because all that really matters is your identity group and its use to the Party. This ties in to what the rest of us normal people have been calling for some time the invisible or forgotten man — thus the invisible voter.

And the party spends its available time and resources managing those identities toward its ends. Call them the demigods of demographics. Your individual vote doesn’t really matter. It was hijacked, taken for granted, and sold into their identity paradigm — like an indentured servant. You thought Dems had issues with voter ID? It’s all about identity.

Yes, the function of the Democrat Party is to manage identities. As long as they do a good job managing them, everything is okay. Take a closer look at who you are. What matters is your identity. Teacher, union member, Latino, Hispanic, immigrant, refugee, black, black Hispanic, woman, white. You fit in where your identity is, from gender or race to cross-dressing hairdressers. Not how you see yourself? Irrelevant. That is how they see you.

You are expected to live within and vote your identity group. Don’t stray from that and you will be okay. But venture off the plantation, or from its hierarchy, and you have a problem. No one realizes this until one doesn’t stay in their lane, as you should.

The problem of management: Democrats have not been doing that too well either. They know it too, which is another thing deemed irrelevant But then you cannot make all the people happy all the time. As long as you the identity member realizes a certain amount of sacrifice will always be demanded for the greater cause. Sacrifice is expected. You won’t get everything your identity wants and neither will most others, save for the elite, elected. Their protection is a perk of the job.

The real costs of sacrifice is even irrelevant in exchange for the greater whole. There are no awards for sacrifice. All the accolades go to the greater cause or ends, except those at the top blanketed in praise. It keeps the masses happy. They get the accolades and you get the gratuitous slap on the back for making it all possible — you and your identity that is.

The party makes the decisions for you or on your behalf. See, they’ve decided, usually in advance, what you shall have and get. If it interferes with their elite leadership and greater agenda, it is thrown to the side. (no matter how noble you may think it is) You’ll get used to the sacrifice thing, just keep your eyes on their larger picture. You’ll get the hang of it.

Understand the only way this whole paradigm continues to work the way they designed and constructed it is if everyone sticks with their identity group. Another self-sacrifice, antiquated individualism. It is so ‘not today.’

So you want to be a liberal

I thought it might be good to have a piece that describes the nuances of how to become a liberal. Many younger people might be trying to figure out what it is. It’s not for everyone.

I will describe some of the proper ethics to today’s liberalism — not to be confused with the old classical liberals a century ago. The two aren’t compatible.

Get acquainted with ideas of modern, post sixties, liberaldom. Identity, identity, identity.

The golden rule is every identity group has their own formula to follow to be a proper, politically correct, liberal. It’s all about who you are, first. So it is very important to know who you are. Most of it, and your view, is based on who you are. Identity matters a lot.

At this point, you may want to look into the mirror and familiarize yourself with: skin color, your heritage, sexual identity, age, your religion, status in this country, the language you speak, type of education you have, the school(s) you went to, the degree you have, your career choice, your type of employment, union you belong to, organizations, how much money you make, whether you are married, single or living with someone, the children you have, their ages, their races, the kind of home you live in or neighborhood, what denomination you are, or what your other beliefs are… just for a few things to start.

You may think of more categories later. Extra credit — good trainee organizers learn to be naturally creative at finding new categories. That all matters to being a good liberal.

Get used to that group identity because it is all you’ll be seen as, in liberal circles — or cocktail parties and social rallies you will attend. Liberals learn to stay in their own lane.

Now to really be mainstream on main street, you’ll have to learn this simple formula: your identity is the key to your role and identity in liberaldom. Don’t leave home without it.

Practical applications

If you listen to liberal activists, they’ll tell you to “check your white privilege at the door.” However, as is with liberaldom, things are often different than what liberals say publicly. Some would call those lies, but you don’t have to worry about that in liberaldom. You don’t exactly check white privilege, you punctuate it. You can’t check your identity.

One of the most import things today is the race card. To use it the right way, like the tool it is, you have to know how it works. Different rules apply to different groups.

If you are black, you generally play the race card by promoting your race and culture. Then you denounce structural racism, which is everywhere. If you are white, it is the opposite. You play it by acknowledging and apologizing for being white, first. You must go through initiation. It’s like a fraternity, you take an oath to preserve black or minorities’ culture, while demonstrating guilt for your perceived white privilege.

Understand if you are white, you will never be able to live down or say anything that removes the stain of your whiteness nor its stain on society. That’s important because you must assume responsibility for anything ever done to another race or minority, on behalf of anyone who was white in the history of this country. You can never overcome that damage, and no amount of penitence will fix it. For instance, your posture is to feel guilt while blacks’ is to be proud. Then you can move on to the general denunciation structural racism.

Feel free to play the race card within those boundaries.

Now you have learned the simple pillar on which everything else in liberaldom is built. You must see everything, culturally and politically, through the lens of identities. There are other categories to also use but identity is the basic. It grows on you.

You can then broaden out to apply this identity formula toward all political opponents. Then you can add Alinsky rules and tactics toward your enemy. When attacking your target, pick apart his/her positions by singling out people by groups or categories. Use the identity of anyone or everyone to your own advantage. That is what they are for.

The Mafia has the Omerta pledge, while Libs have political correctness. P/C rules.
One final rule is to defend liberaldom at all costs. No exceptions or exemptions.

Identity Politics

What lesson did we learn from the left last week? That it is good to imitate a woman but bad to imitate being black. It’s the latest cultural snafu and hypocrisy of the left.

You get a courage award for changing your identity to a female but you get attacked for appropriating black culture. You may appropriate the female gender all you want. Do not borrow any black culture though. And rule makers, or the political class, get to decide what “culture” entails. Do not cross the lines.

Abc reports: “Spokane NAACP Chapter President ‘Grew Up White,’ Says Her Brother
Rachael Dolezal claims she is black and identifies as such, despite family’s denials.

She appears to have broken the rules setting off national outrage. But Bruce Jenner gets the national courage award for identifying as a woman. I’m sure they’ll tell him there is great pride in that, not so for identifying as black. She’s probably a leftist too. Elizabeth Warren self-identified as Native American as a college professor, due to pronounced cheekbones, and the left didn’t get disturbed by it.

There was outrage a while back at a teenage girl using a weave hairstyle as “appropriating black culture.” An egregious offense. However, if people marry the other cultural identity they are celebrated, but presumably they still must keep their cultural identities separate. That must be somewhere in the wedding vows and prenuptial details.

There might be enough confusion about this so colleges probably need courses if they don’t already have them, so young people learn there are limitations which must not be crossed or challenged. All this is important because one’s political status is determined by identity. You must stay within the boundaries of that or there will be big trouble for you.

So if you are any one of certain subidentities you must be a Democrat. For instance, if you are a union member you vote Democrat; if you are Hispanic you vote Democrat; if you are black you vote Democrat; if you are female you should vote Democrat or be a traitor to your sexual organs; if you are a cross-dresser or LGBTQ you must vote Democrat. Every group is an identity and you are known only by that identity. So I think they need to have course curriculum teaching it to eliminate confusion.

If you cross any identity taboos or boundaries there will be swift, severe penalties. And you may never return to your ‘normal’ identity status after misidentifying or appropriating culture. Naiveté or ignorance is no excuse.

You may change your identity to female, but you may not change your cultural identity. You are courageous for the first and condemned for the second. You may use certain banned words if you are of the proper identity. If not, you will be marked for life as a racist bigot. No appeals and nothing you do or say can rehabilitate your identity image. Once branded a racist, you may never change that identity. See why they need a course?

It’s all about identity. Let’s see how long it takes the left to brand her family racists for pointing it out.

Reference: Wikipedia says:

Cultural appropriation is the adoption of elements of one culture by members of a different cultural group, especially if the adoption is of an oppressed people’s cultural elements by members of the dominant culture.

America is a melting pot society, but don’t cross cultural and political boundaries of the Left. Do not appropriate any subculture wrongly, even unconsciously. The right of justice in such matters is reserved for the left. It only follows that political party and voting follow the same rules.

PS: pride in any identity is encouraged unless you are white European or Caucasian — which is a terrible identity.

Saul move on over, reformation is coming

In 2008, the conversation was about a post-racial America. Now all anyone can hope for is a post-racial Obama. But that ain’t going to happen. We know that.

Roger Simon, co-founder of PJ media, wrote a piece on just that with just that conclusion. Racism has become the Holy Grail to Democrats — with their fictitious war on women coming in a close second. As he says, next up it is Hispanics.

Liberal Racism: Hispanics Are Next

Roughly ninety-five percent of racism in America today now either emanates from liberals or is generated by them. The Democratic Party relies on racism because, without the perception of serious ongoing racism in our culture, the identity politics on which the party depends would disintegrate. As presently constituted, they wouldn’t win another national or statewide election. This makes the Democratic Party by necessity a virtual racism-manufacturing machine.

The Al Sharptons and Jesse Jacksons are not anomalies. They are the motor that drives the car. Barack Obama could in no way be a post-racial president as promised, even if he wanted to be (doubtful). He wouldn’t have had a party anymore.

The idea that the chief executive of our country would want to give special privileges to Latinos above and beyond the wishes of their future fellow citizens is not only morally repugnant, it is highly socially damaging. It drives us apart — and apparently deliberately.

My only question is: isn’t all this getting a bit old, even for Libs? So this is where we are.

Their tactics and arguments have become stale — to be kind — and that is what voters are now seeing. Senator Uterus has learned that lesson. Senator Mark Pryor said Obama was a drag on his campaign. Grimes couldn’t endorse Obama. How long can you push phony arguments until they get old, even laughable? (ridicule can be a positive thing)

Alinsky’s RULE #7: “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Don’t become old news. (Even radical activists get bored. So to keep them excited and involved, organizers are constantly coming up with new tactics.)

Liberals can be counted on to do what they always do, when they decide to move on they do so in lockstep. The new thing will be the rage, sucking up all the energy in the room, which backwashes old ideas that are no longer effective. “Don’t become old news.”

RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new. (Attack, attack, attack from all sides, never giving the reeling organization a chance to rest, regroup, recover and re-strategize.)

Of course, the new ideas will be just as specious as the old but that doesn’t matter because they are new. Leftists will tweak them along the way, the same way Obama revises his statements or the way they tweaked Obamacare. When everything is part of an evolving argument, a lot tends to get lost in the shuffle.

Remember the rules for radicals is geared to opposing typical activists or activism, and overwhelming them. If anything, the rules are about breaking rules, and it is always about what works — the ends justify the means. Hispanics beware.
