Shadow government up and running

It may still be in the early, trial phase but the shadow government seems to be getting its feet on the ground as fast — or faster — than Trump can get his own administration up and running. Which is all probably their main objective. So here we are.

Loretta Lynch Played This Shocking Role In Setting Up A Coup Against Trump

American Patriot Daily News

The Trump administration has been plagued by leaks from the intelligence community.

Many believe these leaks were intended to destabilize the Trump Presidency and represent a soft coup.

And you won’t believe the role Loretta Lynch played in this plot.

Shortly before leaving office, Attorney General Loretta Lynch signed a directive loosening the rules on the NSA’s ability to share intercepted electronic communications with 16 other federal agencies, as well as their foreign counterparts.

The New York Times reports:

“In its final days, the Obama administration has expanded the power of the National Security Agency to share globally intercepted personal communications with the government’s 16 other intelligence agencies before applying privacy protections.

The new rules significantly relax longstanding limits on what the N.S.A. may do with the information gathered by its most powerful surveillance operations, which are largely unregulated by American wiretapping laws. These include collecting satellite transmissions, phone calls and emails that cross network switches abroad, and messages between people abroad that cross domestic network switches.

The change means that far more officials will be searching through raw data. Essentially, the government is reducing the risk that the N.S.A. will fail to recognize that a piece of information would be valuable to another agency, but increasing the risk that officials will see private information about innocent people.

Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch signed the new rules, permitting the N.S.A. to disseminate “raw signals intelligence information,” on Jan. 3, after the director of national intelligence, James R. Clapper Jr., signed them on Dec. 15, according to a 23-page, largely declassified copy of the procedures.”

Now some critics are arguing this new order was the driving force behind the leaks that took down National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.

Jay Sekulow, the chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice, is one of those critics.

In an interview with Sean Hannity, he argued that this order created a “shadow government” by expanding the pool of people able to access intercepted communications which would otherwise be classified.

Zero Hedge reports on his remarks:

“There was a sea-change here at the NSA with an order that came from president Obama 17 days before he left office where he allowed the NSA who used to control the data, it now goes to 16 other agencies and that just festered this whole leaking situation, and that happened on the way out, as the president was leaving the office.

Why did the Obama administration wait until it had 17 days left in their administration to put this order in place if they thought it was so important. They had 8 years, they didn’t do it, number one. Number two, it changed the exiting rule which was an executive order dating back to Ronald Reagan, that has been in place until 17 days before the Obama administration was going to end, that said the NSA gets the raw data, and they determine dissemination.

Instead, this change that the president put in place, signed off by the way by James Clapper on December 15, 2016, signed off by Loretta Lynch the Attorney General January 3, 2017, they decide that now 16 agencies can get the raw data and what that does is almost creates a shadow government. You have all these people who are not agreeing with President Trump’s position, so it just festers more leaks.

If they had a justification for this, wonderful, why didn’t they do it 8 years ago, 4 years ago, 3 years ago. Yet they wait until 17 days left.”

Obama supporters within the intelligence community have waged what some believe is a coup against Trump by using cherry-picked leaks to frame the information in the most damaging light possible.

Was this coup ultimately enabled by Loretta Lynch?

At least one expert is saying “yes.”

But it is not just the shadow government concerns at issue, it also enables the deep state that seems perpetually plotting against Trump. We have a real problem there.

It’s strange(not) that information was a rare commodity in the Obama adminstration. Now they spread information everywhere, leaks abound. No leaks and whistle blowers under Obama. Now, with their loyal allies in the media, they’ve become the angry yet powerful and permanent opposition. That is why the leaks need serious investigation.

All this information flowing, but yet we still do not even know the whereabouts of Obama during the Benghazi attack. How’s that?

Intell failures and media attacks on Trump

I recently posted on the cooked reports about progress on ISIS. It’s been in the news. Whether its cooked reports, cooked polls, cooked politics, cooked media reporting, seems it’s all the same. O’Reilly even said don’t trust anything coming from the media.

This week, Trump receives his first briefings sparking more media attacks. Have you ever seen one man be attacked that way? Well, the reporter asked Trump point blank if he trusted the intelligence? What would make them ask that and why? So Trump was hesitant to just accept it considering the background of what has been going on.

Politico:

Earhardt followed up by asking whether Trump trusts “intelligence.”

“Not so much from the people that have been doing it for our country. I mean, look what’s happened over the last 10 years. Look what’s happened over the years. It’s been catastrophic. And, in fact, I won’t use some of the people that are sort of your standards, you know, just use them, use them, use them, very easy to use them, but I won’t use them because they’ve made such bad decisions,” said Trump

Gasp, comes the response across media. “Did you hear what he said?” What did he mean by that and why would he say such a thing? It’s outrageous.

Well, has all critical thinking been abolished now? Seems so.

Senior Obama administration officials who briefed reporters on the Syrian airstrikes said an al Qaeda group known as Khorasan was attacked after intelligence reports indicated that it posed an imminent threat of attack.

ABC: Syria refugee masses at Turkey’s border

The United Nations said the number of Syrian Kurds fleeing into neighbouring Turkey may have topped 100,000 and was likely to go much higher, as IS militants seized dozens of villages close to the border and advanced on the frontier town of Ayn al-Arab, known as Kobani in Kurdish. …./

“Islamic State are continuing to advance. Every place they pass through they kill, wound and kidnap people. Many people are missing and we believe they were kidnapped,” Welat Avar, a doctor, told Reuters by telephone from Kobani.

A Kurdish politician from Turkey who visited Kobani on Saturday said locals had told him IS fighters were beheading people as they went from village to village. …/

“Rather than a war this is a genocide operation … They are going into the villages and cutting the heads of one or two people and showing them to the villagers,” Ibrahim Binici, a deputy for Turkey’s pro-Kurdish HDP said.

Israel Warns of Iranian Sweet Talk; Says Nothing’s Changed

The international community is allowing the rise of ISIS to distract it from the far more dangerous prospect of a nuclear Iran, Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Yuval Steinitz warned Wednesday. The comments followed his visit last week to the United States, where he met with senior State Department figures William Burns and Wendy Sherman.

“The Iranians are getting almost everything but giving almost nothing,” Steinitz told a Jerusalem news conference in which he expressed his belief that Iran is being far from truthful in its ongoing P5+1 nuclear talks. “Although it is important to defeat ISIS [Islamic State], if Iran gets nuclear weapons, it’s a different world for decades. This is the main threat to global security and should be the priority… I went [to Washington] concerned and I came back concerned,” Steinitz added. “I didn’t hear anything… that gave me hope.”

Protestors: ‘The Met Opera Glorifies Terrorism’

Protesters say ‘The Death of Klinghoffer’ justifies the 1985 murder of wheelchair-bound Jew Leon Klinghoffer

Israel Hayom reports:

The Met is scheduled to perform the opera between Oct. 20 and Nov. 15.

The opera deals with the death of Leon Klinghoffer, a Jewish passenger on the cruise ship Achille Lauro in 1985.

The ship was hijacked by Palestinian terrorists, who shot the wheelchair-bound Klinghoffer and threw him over board.

The opera’s critics say it justifies the killers’ actions and is prejudiced against Jews.

Supporters defend it on grounds of artistic freedom and claim it presents a thoughtful take on all sides.

Federal Employees Use Government Credit Cards at Casinos, Racetracks

Audit finds DOT has poor oversight over its travel card program
September 23, 2014 | Free Beacon
BY: Elizabeth Harrington

Department of Transportation (DOT) employees use government credit cards for cash advances at casinos and racetracks, according to a report by the Office of Inspector General (OIG).

Employees misused their government-issued travel cards in 2012, racking up $2.1 million in charges for personal items, and more than $180,000 in unauthorized cash advances while they were not on business trips.

The audit, released last week, examined the travel card program, which employees are authorized to use on hotels, transportation, and meals during government travel. The OIG found that the DOT does not have effective policies in place to prevent the government credit cards from being misused. In fact, the agency has no policy prohibiting employees from taking cash advances out at casinos.

If Obama is selling excuses, I’m not buying

In a stunning revelation about Obama’s secret Afghanistan troop visit, the administration is forced to admit they outed the top spook in the area. Ever quick to scramble, on anything scandal related, they called it an accident and revised their press blurb. Too late they already had spread the word though most outfits did not release the name after. Yea, let’s just call it an accident. But I’m not so sure. (who can be certain about the reasoning of anything in this twisted regime?)

See, if we learned one thing in the last year of scandals, it is that the administration prides itself on its talking points. The information it gave the press was a list of the supporting staff and network in Afghanistan. Always wanting to thank their subordinates and cronies, they issued the release with the name on it with various VIPs.

White House mistakenly reveals CIA official’s name

May 26th 2014 2:32PM

By Ken Dilanian

WASHINGTON (AP) – In an embarrassing flub, the Obama administration accidentally revealed the name of the CIA’s top official in Afghanistan in an email to thousands of journalists during the president’s surprise Memorial Day weekend trip to Bagram Air Field.

The officer’s name – identified as “chief of station” in Kabul – was included by U.S. embassy staff on a list of 15 senior American officials who met with President Obama during the Saturday visit. The list was sent to a Washington Post reporter who was representing the news media, who then sent it out to the White House “press pool” list, which contains as many as 6,000 recipients.

The Associated Press is withholding the officer’s name at the request of the Obama administration, who said its publication could put his life and those of his family members in danger. A Google search appears to reveal the name of the officer’s wife and other personal details.

The intentional disclosure of the name of a “covered” operative is a crime under the U.S. Intelligence Identities Protection Act.

That’s right, on first blush you notice they referred to the person as the “station chief”. This on the heels of Benghazigate, where we heard such words regularly. Knowing full well station chief refers to CIA, even most people know that. Its a no-brainer. I could see if they released the name only but listing the title “station chief” should give anyone pause. But then what does it really matter if they did it intentionally or not? Then they revised it, but only thanks to a reporter that they caught it at all.

How nice that the press are taking it on themselves to withhold it, as if that fixes the problem. I bet Al Jazeera will be as kind too. More troubling that the information was WH cleared prior to release.

Of course, we haven’t heard the last of this and a “oops” won’t make it go away. These are the same people that were so hyper sensitive about Valerie Plame, who for all intents and purposes was in Washington. Whether she was or not under cover at the time. Here you have the station chief divulged in a war zone, at a super critical time, especially as we consider a mass exodus from there. It will be interesting to hear how the media try to bury this as a non-issue. Obama is just a walking talking scandal machine.

Accidentally, no foul, no harm…yet. Oh, he was leaving anyway. I expect that’s the sort of excuses we’ll here.

But the even more interesting thing is that in his speech Obama went out of his way to thank ambassadors and their families for the sacrifices they make too, often at great personal risk or in harms way. And then they out a top operative in the area. They are they same people who went after Fox’s James Rosen, and his family, for leaking information, threatening charges. But carefree Obamanoids give away data by themselves. Well, not like it was intentional or something.

Good thing there would never be an accidental leak of secret information on Obama, and his super-secret records though. Heads would roll then.

NSA renews its collection operation

Court renews NSA telephone surveillance program

Kevin Johnson, USA TODAY

WASHINGTON — The secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court renewed the government’s authority Friday to continue the collection of millions of Americans’ telephone records, one of the classified counter-terrorism programs disclosed by former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden.
In an unusual public statement, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence acknowledged that the court renewed the authority that was set to expire Friday.
“In light of the significant and continuing public interest in the …collection program, the DNI has decided to declassify and disclose publicly that the government filed an application with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court seeking renewal of the authority to collect telephony metadata in bulk, and that the court renewed that authority,” the statement said.
Earlier this week, Democrat and Republican lawmakers expressed deep concerns about the scope of the surveillance program and suggested that Congress may not renew legislative authority for it when it comes up for review in nearly two years.
“This is unsustainable, outrageous and must be stopped immediately,” Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., told Justice and intelligence officials at a Judiciary Committee hearing Wednesday.
Said Alabama Republican Rep. Spencer Bachus: “How do we keep this from evolving into an unchecked weapons that can be used against people’s rights?”
Snowden has been charged with espionage related offenses for disclosing the program and a separate operation that tracks the communications of non-U.S. citizens abroad. He has been in a Moscow airport weighing various asylum strategies to avoid extradition to the United States

Funny how on the day the FISA court renews it, Obama comes out to give a race lecture on Trayvon Martin.

When I read the statement it just rubs salt in the wound. No changes but they decided to make it public that they are doing it.

So they announce that they are collecting data “in bulk”, after lying. First, Clapper said “no” they are not. “Not wittingly,” he said. “There are cases where they could inadvertently perhaps collect, but not wittingly.”

Now he breezes though it as business of usual and makes no bones about it. He flaunts the renewal to the public. Everything Clapper does just makes me grit my teeth.

So we finally got to the very real “wittingly”, intentional part. Now they drop the pretense. It happens to be on a Friday, when Obama runs out to talk about Trayvon Martin. Then media gushes over his comments. (but then that is business as usual)
