It’s the agenda, stupid

Speaking of State Department BS and the Obama administration in general, time to revisit an older article. Not much changed so it is only more important with State issues.

Naturally, I cannot suspend my disbelief of this Federal Autocracy. But when departments ally with other departments and bureaucracy in a cohesive effort, it only gets worse. Here we have such a stellar case. It is nothing new that it involves education, databases, and the ever prying eye of the Leviathan we call the Federal Government.

Obama’s “Mother of all Databases” Includes Our Children

Speaking of databases, there’s one out there that’s more than a little disturbing. It’s but one more devious plan created by none other than Barack Hussein Obama to store personal information on our children. No wonder Maxine Waters spouted off that Obama’s database knew everything about everybody – this is one of the few times that Maxine was telling the truth.

Obama actually planned this scandal back in 2009 – why Republicans and Democrats didn’t even raise an eyebrow is a total mystery. Obama helped himself to several billion dollars of our stimulus money and threw it into a pot for Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, placing him in charge of mining our children’s personal information for Obama’s database.

Federal law put in place restrictions back in 1979 when the Department of Education was launched. The law specifically stated that it was illegal for the White House to have a Federal Education database.

As usual, the law does not apply to Obama. Obama and Duncan promised an ungodly amount of money to the States suffering from a horrific recession if they would make a deal and trust Washington to take over the education system of our children.

There’s one more minor stipulation that Obama is requesting.  He wants each State to create a database containing personal information on our kids and forward that information to none other than the Secretary of Education. Obama and old Arne have prepared the template for these databases containing hundreds of personal data requirements from religion to parent’s income.

Obama’s Muslim Brotherhood is now partnering up with our Department of Education and the State Department to create an online program (Qatar) that will connect our United States schools with classrooms abroad. As usual, they leave out some pertinent details.

Remember the days when people used to want to speak truth to power when it was critically important, when it appeared the power or powerful had lost their way? That must seem so 70’ish. The good old days when libs used to talk about believing in that.

Well, now Liberals are quiet as mice. Do they not realize this stuff is happening? Do they not care? I think there is a lot of the latter. Just connecting obvious dots is too much effort for some people. Maybe they would rather not know? That is a real possibility.

Even more sinister, maybe libs realize and approve of what is going on knowing it means more power for the government and less privacy and freedom for us – or more control?

Obama and his cohorts are great at talking about or blaming unintended consequences, but what about the all too intentional ones? Just like the IRS, Benghazi, Fast and Furious or Servergate. Surely these things are missteps, blunders, coincidences, or unintended results of an ever-burgeoning bureaucracy. My disbelief wins, again.

Grim predictions and a warning from UK

Britain Heading Towards A Civil War With Islam

Published on Jun 16, 2013

Paul Weston speaks candidly about what is in store for Britain with Islam and Islamists. It isn’t pretty, and it is also a dire warning to the US and Canada what is headed our way.

Seeing is believing vs seeing is denial

Future generations will either be commending our determination and decisions, or they will be condemning our ignorance. Maybe some of each.

Would it be alright if we did get to the moon and made quantum leaps in space, yet succumbed to the ploy of communism right here on earth? Both matter.

Sadly, these are the things we must ponder. It is not a philosophical quandary, those events and actions have real consequences.

I see the way the leftists operate as if anything and everything will be alright as long as it is done through an all-powerful state, with the correct political view. Statists refuse to see that their decisions will affect the world far into the future.

It is like going into an urban setting seeing the graffiti on the concrete walls. Some see that as art — maybe it grows on you — but I can’t help being repelled by it. I would rather see the bare concrete wall than what someone airbrushed on it. Maybe it is me and a matter of preference. The Berlin wall was that way with all the graffiti on it. It was still what it was. Does that make me a minimalist or something? I don’t know.

So seeing Islamism as a threat is much the same. I don’t want to hear someone’s interpretation of it as non-threatening, peaceful – ‘just another organized religion’… blah blah. At some point something is what it is. People fell for the lure of psychedelic peace and love chants in the 60’s, and then there was Charles Manson right in the middle of it. Someone might have said that it was entirely predictable, yet others were horrified at how that could be? I’m sure some well-intentioned people were lured by the peace and love talk about Islam, too, but there is much more going on there. Remember Mohamed Ali, then look at the present Middle East. Both cannot be so. Then many fell for Obama’s rhetoric.

Planes flew into towers and soon some said “American’s chickens have come home to roost.” Good soundbite. And it came from the halls of academia. It echoed from Leftists. Remember those in California saying they would never be attacked because they are “tolerant” people. (New York was intolerant?) When you spread it out there is a constant message in a continuum. Some call it denial. People did not want to believe we would be involved in WWII. Then Pearl Harbor. Much can be made of things and then there is reality. Go back to Thomas Paine writing his pamphlets. Then, even some clergy thought a revolution was wrong and just a simple matter of sitting down with the king.

So “one giant leap for mankind” could come at the expense of freedom on earth. Some may say that is not the way it should happen -both mattered. Though decades later, one wonders what really prevailed? What’s that saying about winning the battle and losing the war? I try to wrap my head around the notion that if we can just beat the threat of Islam, all will be well again. But the greater threat will always be with us – it’s only one example. Islam has been a threat since before the founding of America but somehow it will be ended because someone paints a happy face on it, or conveys its message just the right way? Patience is a virtue, it isn’t stupidity or mere complacency. Is that “One giant leap”?

Tentacles of Obama’s Muslim Outreach

Obama Outreach Overview

by IPT News  •  Jun 12, 2013 at 3:11 pm

The Obama administration has an infamous history of questionable Islamist outreach, as noted here, here and here. These outreach efforts have been engaged by the highest levels of the Department of Justice (DOJ), resulting in decisions effecting potential prosecutions of Islamist leaders and closing ranks with other Islamist leaders in the name of civil rights enforcement.

More recently, a U.S. Attorney in Tennessee suggested that anti-Muslim inflammatory Internet postings might rise to the level of violating federal civil rights statutes. This caused an uproar of concern that such biased outreach may cross a line encroaching on First Amendment protected free speech.

Thanks to the revelation of an innocuous contract solicitation by the U.S. Department of Education, we know President Obama takes a direct interest in these outreach programs. On April 29, the Department of Education posted a solicitation bid titled “White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders Annual Report.” The principal purpose of the bid was listed as:

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office of the Under Secretary requires a writer to prepare a comprehensive summary report of the activities and recommendations of the President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (Commission) to the President covering the period October 14, 2009 through Fiscal Year 2013. The report must reflect the work and recommendations of the Commission, as well as the findings and recommendations gleaned from the Muslim Outreach Summits….

The Initiative, through the U.S. Department of Education, requests to enter into a firm fixed priced contract for a writer to write, document and produce a comprehensive summary report based upon the recommendations of the Commission, the Muslim Outreach Summits, and the Initiative to be presented to the President.

The federal contract solicitation indicated there are three upcoming Muslim Outreach Summits and those are June 15 in Chicago, June 22 in San Francisco and June 29 in New York.

The Department of Education reported the contract was awarded on May 23 from a bid list of 18 to Ignatius Bau, a San Francisco-based community activist and lawyer who was previously engaged with the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Bau has been involved in immigrant rights and health care advocacy, and was so lauded in a YouTube video from January 2011 wherein, among others, former DOJ Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Thomas Perez, who has been responsible for much of the DOJ Muslim outreach effort, spoke on Bau’s behalf.

With the issuance and publication of this taxpayer contracted report, we now know the president himself is interested in the results of his administration’s longstanding special outreach programs to Muslims. The problem too often is on what elements of the Muslim community those outreach efforts have primarily focused.

My Casablanca face is wearing thin. I smell a fatwa coming.

What happens when Muslim-in-Chief’s report is not quite as good as it should be? But maybe students could start studying Sharia Law, you know, to familiarize them with cultural changes.

Naturally, anyone who disagrees with this policy will be Islamophobic. No shortage of contractors to bid on writing the report, I guess.

How far can the outreach go?

NASA Muslim outreach
NASA Administrator Charles Bolden said in a recent interview that his “foremost” mission as the head of America’s space exploration agency is to improve relations with the Muslim world.

Though international diplomacy would seem well outside NASA’s orbit, Bolden said in an interview with Al Jazeera that strengthening those ties was among the top tasks President Obama assigned him. He said better interaction with the Muslim world would ultimately advance space travel.

How low can it go?

“Silence is Not an Option”

Below is the prepared text of speech given last night by Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff at the Ahavath Torah Congregation in Boston.

“Death Can Be Silent – The Present State of Free Speech in the U.S., Europe and Beyond”

Speech given by Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff
Ahavath Torah Congregation, Boston
June 17, 2013
[*a few excepts]

I’ve just recently learned that the audience for my talk may be larger than I had previously thought. In addition to the listeners gathered here in Stoughton, my words may be recorded by NSA and digitally stored in a huge database — all part of the struggle against “terror” and “violent extremism”. Since this congregation is a non-profit organization, the IRS may also be listening in, just to make sure that what I say here is compatible with your tax-exempt status.
If my words ever happen to be passed on through the social media, the person who posts them may be subject to criminal penalties. Yes, that’s why U.S. Attorney Bill Killian went to Manchester, Tennessee a couple of weeks ago: to discuss using federal civil rights laws to punish those who make critical remarks about Islam.
Such is the current sorry condition of free speech the United States of America.
If it’s that bad here, what must conditions be like elsewhere? This nation used to be a beacon of liberty, the shining city on a hill that inspired the entire world — what has happened to it?
I can tell you from my own experience that Europe has slid even farther down the slippery slope to tyranny.
We, too, live under constant surveillance by our own governments.
The security services in Britain and Sweden are entitled by law to record and store all forms of electronic communications — telephone, text messaging, internet usage, and so on.
Most countries in Europe have been gung-ho to implement the EU’s diktat. So many people have been harassed, detained, arrested, prosecuted, and convicted for criticizing Islam that it would be impossible for me to mention them all. To read a full list, even if it were possible to compile one, would take several hours at least.
But let me give you a brief representative sample of Europeans who have been persecuted by their governments for their opinions on Islamization:

[A few of her examples]

From Britain: Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, a.k.a. Tommy Robinson, the founder and leader of the Islam-critical English Defence League, has been tried repeatedly on various contrived charges, and convicted on some of them. Late last year he spent several months in solitary confinement before he even made his first appearance in court.
From Finland: Jussi Halla-aho, a journalist and local politician, was tried for giving examples in his blog of things about immigrants that were now illegal to say. He was convicted and fined, and lost his appeals to all higher courts. He also lost his position within his party, the True Finns.
From the Netherlands: Geert Wilders, the leader of what may now be the most popular party in the country, was put on trial not once, but twice for expressing his opinions on Islam. After a lengthy and expensive court process, he was acquitted in both cases.
From Switzerland: Avi Lipkin, a.k.a. Victor Mordecai, was tried and convicted of “inciting hatred or discrimination against a person or a group of persons on the grounds of their race, ethnic origin or religion”. His “crime” was committed during a discussion about the upcoming referendum on the minaret ban, when he read verses from the Koran requiring Muslims to hate Christians and Jews. He was convicted.
