Favorite one-liners and reality shuffle

One of Jeb Bush’s favorite attacks of Trump is Donald’s quote “I watch the shows.” Jeb calls Trump great at one-liners but a chaos candidate. Jeb should upgrade his material.

Oh those Sunday shows. So being it was Sunday, what did I learn from the Sunday shows? Let’s take the Fox Sunday show, for example.

First, a little review. All we hear is “you must not paint all Muslims with the same broad brush.” That wouldn’t be fair. It’s hard to find a contemporary talking point older than that one. I think it started one minute after the second plane hit the WTC. So that’s not new; the media repeats that every time the subject of Islamic terrorism or Islamic radicalism comes up.(sing a long ) Now it’s a spontaneous reflex.

To my surprise on the Sunday “Show,” the subject is ISIS and Islamic radicalism with Peter King-of House homeland security where he dispels the myth of cooperation of Mosques and Muslims on the terrorism front. So they haven’t been cooperating all along and tipping us about those rogue radicals? I guess not. King tells us of a case where the Mosque actually tipped off the terrorist’s family that cops were on to him. And in two cases radicalized Muslims joined up with terrorists and no one said a word about it.

The host asked King if he knew of any case where Muslims or clergy were hesitant or unwilling to: if they “see something say something” report it? But he already proved it. He said they don’t come forward and don’t work with authorities. It’s well-known in police circles they don’t cooperate.

They went on with their panel to explore the lack of Muslim cooperation. Then he called this a “generational war.” He asked even if we destroyed ISIS, what would fill the vacuum? Gasp. He said that is the subject no one is talking about. Oh, they mean no one on air is talking about the possibilities. But people have not overlooked it. In fact, the people have been talking about all this stuff.

So there you have the crux of the issue/problem. We’ve been paying close attention all along. We’ve been following ISIS’s rise and the bonfire in the Mid East. We were watching. And we already figured out, long ago, this was a generational battle. We knew about vacuums, too. We observed that Muslims here and abroad have not been especially helpful. Media and Muslims object to our findings and observations by crying Islamophobia.

What’s the point? The lesson here is people are out in front of the news prognosticators. I mean what did we have to do to get their attention? Of course they wouldn’t listen to us. We don’t know anything. Only the media knows. Only they are informed. Critical thinking is out of vogue. But now their subtle admissions seem to lag way behind ours. And Trump is still a “racist” for calling for a ban. How do they square that?

Islam is a problem, Muslims aren’t just innocent victims, Mosques haven’t been helping, Trump has a valid point, and political correctness is not the cure but an accelarant. The religion of peace is institutionally waist-deep in civil disobedience defending radical Islamists (who don’t seem too rogue) defying our national security concerns. And we have an Islam apologist residing in the White House running cover for them all. All that is common knowledge to most coherent people, unless they live in Obama’s state of denial.

Here is part of that Sunday exchange:

MCKELWAY: Congressman, I want to turn again to terrorism on the home front. You have said somewhat controversially that we need better surveillance of mosques in the United States, quoting you. The only way you’re going to find out this in advance is to do the same type of 24/7 surveillance that was done in the Italian-American communities when they were going after the mob, mafia, and the Irish communities, when they were going after the Westies. You look at where the terror threat is going to come from. And right now it is going to come from the Muslim community. I can hear the cries of civil libertarians and constitutionalists right now, Congressman.

KING: Yeah, listen, they can cry all they want. The fact is that’s where the threat is coming from. And we can say that 98, 99 percent – of the Muslims in this country are good people. I’m actually swearing in the first elected Muslim on Long Island. She is a good friend of mine. So, this is nothing against Muslims, but the fact is that is where the threat is coming from. And we are kidding ourselves. We have this blind political correctness, which makes no sense. For instance, in Boston, with the Boston marathon bombing, you had the older Tsarnaev brother. He was put out of a mosque because of his radical thoughts and his radical statements made in the mosque, but nobody in the mosque ever told the police, nobody ever told the FBI.

Yes, we knew. But at every step we were called Islamophobic for pointing out the truth. They said we can’t blame Islam or Muslims in general even when they are intentionally complicit in terrorists’ agenda. Reminds me of the rise of the Third Reich. Media and some politicians seem to be slowly coming around – sans Obama. Denial may be wearing off.

Islam will only be at peace when everyone has converted. And that isn’t going to happen. Now in case they still want to point blame at us or Christians for this problem, Christians evangelize and Muslims terrorize. Islamists take pride in that. We are trying to defend “true Islam” when most ignorant spectators don’t even know which is the true Islam?

So what you would have been learning from these shows, mostly, is that we are racists and/or bigoted extremists for jumping to rational conclusions that stir fear about the Islam community — incidentally, one of Islam’s chief goals. Worse, for years we were told to blame everything and everyone else in the world, namely ourselves and America, for Islamic terrorism except to blame any of it on Islam or Muslims. I don’t remember them going through that tortured, fruitless exercise on Hitler and the Third Reich. (we would still be conducting that exercise)

Media double standards: unfair on CAIR

The CAIR-pandering media does not want to cover something as divisive as say moderate Muslims talking about radical Islamists. Who cares about that?

C-SPAN Accused of ‘Mainstreaming Islamist Organizations While Willfully Marginalizing’ Reformists

By Patrick Goodenough | December 23, 2015 | CNS News

(CNSNews.com) – The leader of an umbrella group of moderate Islamic organizations is troubled by C-SPAN’s decision not to cover its launch event at the National Press Club earlier this month, when on Monday the public affairs network provided live coverage to another Muslim event – highlighting “Islamophobia” – at the same venue.

Attempts to get C-SPAN to cover the launch of the Muslim Reform Movement on December 4 were unsuccessful, said M. Zuhdi Jasser, president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy and a key figure in the establishment of the MRM.

On Monday, C-SPAN covered a press conference by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and its allies in the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO) at which 2016 political candidates were warned that anti-Muslim sentiment would carry a cost at the ballot box.

“They are mainstreaming Islamist organizations while willfully marginalizing us,” Jasser said. “At least show both!”

CAIR and Co. Warn 2016 Candidates: Spew ‘Islamophobia’ at Your Political Peril

By Patrick Goodenough | December 21, 2015 | CNS News

(CNSNews.com) – Leaders of several American Muslim organizations warned Donald Trump and other presidential candidates Monday that if they engage in bigotry and “Islamophobia” they will pay a political price because Muslim voters – in the words of one – will mobilize and “make sure you are out of there.”

“Let it be heard, and clear, to all political candidates, be it Donald Trump or whoever else, that indeed, if you engage in Islamophobia, if you engage in demagoguery and bigotry, you will pay a political price,” American Muslim Alliance director Mahdi Bray said at the National Press Club.

“Because we’re going to register our people and we’re going to use our ballot and we’re going to ‘take our souls to the polls’ and make sure you are out of there,” he continued.

They don’t even attempt to hide their bias. I guess CAIR has them wrapped around their little finger, for safe keeping. C-SPAN should be ashamed.

Obamacide and Islamocide in motion

Hi, my name is Islamophobia, and I’m back to haunt the annals of your conscience. I will tell you what a horrible person you are for thinking that people murdering innocent people in cold blood is not politically correct to worry about or blame on Islam. Surely you know that Islam is not the problem, well, don’t you? You must understand that the great numbers of Muslims worldwide qualifies them, on one hand, as a major force of influence in the world; while on the other as minority victims in any situation. You must understand that it is not all Muslims committing these terrible acts and terrorism. You certainly cannot hold all us Muslims responsible for those committing this barbarism. Oh, didn’t we tell you that we (whatever entity we are) condemn those atrocious acts of violence? Are you too stupid to understand that? So, banning all Muslims? Hasn’t your Islamophobia got the best of you? Chill.

This is the mental exercise we receive from Obama and the left every time one of these “tragedies” happen. But they blame guns when it is the evil hearts of blood-crazed barbarians that commit these atrocities. Dumb people who thought somehow electing someone sympathetic to a fault with Islam, if not a Muslim, would somehow appease these titans of terror. Dummies that thought a person raised in Indonesia, and bathed in radicalism of the worst sorts, would lead to a more united country. People that assuaged their own psychosomatic guilt to first, believe in him without a shred of proof, then elect him untested and unvetted to the highest office in the land — and who could not even admit their mistake once it became obvious.(even to everyone else in the world)

Obama is to the left what the Kool Aid was to Jonestown, the final fatal solution. As long as they believe in their own clueless intentions — an act of faith — it doesn’t matter what real results are produced. Just ignore those at any cost. Actually, they are about as good at ignoring them as Muslims are in ignoring effects and results of Islam.

So the poison has become their prescribed cure.

You can trace and follow the same sort of logic on abortion. The 58.5 million, and counting, dead babies are only an inconvenient fact. The solution to which is more dead babies as a sanctified right. Religion is a factor in all because they require a tenant of faith and belief as the underlying premise. The problem that exists in Islam, under that errant prognosis, calls for more conversions to radical Islam and a wider berth for “the religion of peace.” It is a cycle but you cannot untie it from the evil nature of the circular logic. If it made sense, correctly, then it wouldn’t be a problem because the solutions would be obvious.

Just as the solution to Obama’s scandals, his failed policies, or treasonous actions would be. But no one wants to look at those solutions, which would admit they were wrong to this point. The same applied to Benghazi. They cannot simply look at the obvious truth now, since their actions in Libya were based on their failed perception and faulty projection. All of these are traceable back to belief — errant belief at that. People believe Obama is the answer, not the problem. Muslims believe Islam is the answer, not the problem. Leftists believe abortion is the answer, not the horrible genocide it is.

It does go back to the battle of good and evil. (a semantics paradox) Pro-lifers understand better than anyone how insidious the evil is. On one side you have people celebrating death and on the other we celebrate life. Which is the preferred virtue? Yet we are in a fallen world, the signs of which are all around us confirming it.

Obama’s Rendezvous with Terrorism Speech

Dr. Evil acted the part delivering his post terrorism address. But after assorted tries he finally attempts to nail down a message — a message but not a strategy. 4-Point BS.

First, was his comment he would call the president of France later to express his sentiments on the Paris attack. Then, when in Paris, he had a failed press conference getting hammered by questions on terrorism. Then he went to Manila and made statements on the terrorism attack, refusing as he does to call it Islamic terrorism. Then after San Bernardino was labeled an act of terror, he delivers his Saturday address talking about gun control So third bite at the terrorism apple, he has an address on terrorism. He finally called it terrorism only when he could not deny it.

Obama needed to mute the criticism of not making a formal announcement about it. Alas, still, maybe it is Americans fault for the non-inclusive prejudice against Muslims and our rampant Islamophobia? Hardly, they threw the terrorist couple a baby shower just months before. That’s a sure sign of Islamophobia.

All’s fair in warfare, or maybe not.

Obama has become the problem in the way Islam has become the problem. Complacency has led to being complicit. If he wants to manage this homeland terrorism how he managed ISIS, then we are certainly in for more pain with no gain. Obama’s complacency has brought us to this point. So if Sen. Blumenthal can declare Congress complicit for failing to enact gun control, then he should see the reality that Obama is complicit by his failures.

Islam is complicit by their complacency for years to do anything about it. There is a war within Islam, except there is only one side fighting it. Radical Islam is at war with us and only one side is really fighting it. But Obama is building a Climate Caliphate saying that will prove something to ISIS and Islamists.

The San Bernardino attack proved the fallacy in the administration’s terrorism theology. Remember that one? They claimed terrorists are caused by lack of jobs and poor socioeconomic conditions. Syed Farook was working for the government, with all the perks, as a so-called public servant. Scrap that theory, or label government employment a prerequisite for terrorism too. Nope. Oh, then it was droughts are the cause terrorism. There must have been a drought in San Bernardino. He was a health inspector of restaurants. But if only we could give them good jobs and good economic conditions, and prevent the climate from causing droughts. Then stop them from being victims, too.

Obama spoke from the Oval office:

Tonight, I want to talk with you about this tragedy, the broader threat of terrorism, and how we can keep our country safe.

Again he refers to it as a tragedy. Can we move on to the terrorism it was?

The FBI is still gathering the facts about what happened in San Bernardino, but here is what we know. The victims were brutally murdered and injured by one of their coworkers and his wife. So far, we have no evidence that the killers were directed by a terrorist organization overseas, or that they were part of a broader conspiracy here at home. But it is clear that the two of them had gone down the dark path of radicalization, embracing a perverted interpretation of Islam that calls for war against America and the West. They had stockpiled assault weapons, ammunition, and pipe bombs. So this was an act of terrorism, designed to kill innocent people.

Yes, thank goodness the FBI already determined it was terrorism, so you are a little late informing us of that. Still he emphasizes coworkers, as if that really had anything to do with it, except to provide them an opportunity for a soft target. But there he goes parsing the words that we have no evidence of connection to a wider conspiracy at home. (Disclaimer alert) Tell that to the dead and victims in San Bernardino. We know they were connected to terrorism abroad and she swore allegiance to the Caliphate. Pay no attention to that or his trip to Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The obvious money connections mean nothing either. Oh, it must have been a lucrative government job to amass that arsenal of supplies by his lonesome, making that socioeconomic cause even more ridiculous. They must have dumped all that income into Islamic radical terrorism. So just lip service calling it radical terrorism.

Then he finally admits it is an act of terrorism, born of a radical religious ideology. The “perverted interpretation” some argue is more common and mainstream than many people accept. So this was cover for Obama’s ass to call it terrorism and implying a radical element to it. They were not just walking along, minding their own business, and fell victim to this perverted radical Islam, as victims themselves. No, there were only those real victims and the shooters were not victims. An ISIS spokesman prayed God would accept them as martyrs. Yep, martyrs that kill 14 and wound others in an ambush attack? Definitions shift like Obama.

Our nation has been at war with terrorists since al Qaeda killed nearly 3,000 Americans on 9/11. In the process, we’ve hardened our defenses — from airports to financial centers, to other critical infrastructure.

Wait, you mean the War On Terror term that you abolished in political correctness and naive strategic failure. A war you tried to undermine by scrubbing any reference to radical Islamism in our strategy, plans, or rules. And your war on the term “terrorism?”

Intelligence and law enforcement agencies have disrupted countless plots here and overseas, and worked around the clock to keep us safe.

Our law enforcement and intelligence agencies have been hampered and crippled by your P/C-fied policies and playing politics with our nations security. Treasonous by nature. If someone would have hindered our response after Pearl Harbor would we have allowed it? You mean those counter-terrorism measures our people carried out in spite of your undermining the central objective to root out Islamic terrorism in and out of the country. Kudos to them for that.

And I know that after so much war, many Americans are asking whether we are confronted by a cancer that has no immediate cure.

No, most of us know that, though it could be called a cancer, there is a cure even a short term one you are unwilling to commit to. And making statements calling it a JV team is not the prescription, nor is the denial about the source of this terrorism and ideology. That even inspires the cancer to grow. Pampering Muslims does little to combat it in the immediate future and makes it harder to confront in the longer term. An effect not lost on the terrorists.

Well, here’s what I want you to know: The threat from terrorism is real, but we will overcome it. We will destroy ISIL and any other organization that tries to harm us. Our success won’t depend on tough talk, or abandoning our values, or giving into fear. That’s what groups like ISIL are hoping for. Instead, we will prevail by being strong and smart, resilient and relentless, and by drawing upon every aspect of American power.

You do not have to tell us the threat is real. That is confirmed in real time. You’ve been in denial about it all along, deceiving, saying things like the world has always been a dangerous place. Seems you have no issue with tough talk when it comes to Republicans or even shutting down the government, or getting your way — any way you can, even abusing the Executive-Order pen. Tell us what groups like ISIS are hoping for. Inaction is what they are hoping for and counting on. We are being smart, then, by denying the severity of the threat, by relentlessly criticizing our own people for calling it a threat? Drawing upon every aspect of American power? Really, that is the height of deception you’ve been engaged in. You have constrained and criticized the use of American power. Instead, you use the bully pulpit to chastise American patriots. You take shots at Congress from foreign shores and play politics with our resources, including our military.

So in that manner we will succeed? This blind faith in you strategy has not been working to date, but still you say just believe and stay the course. (the one that brought us to this point) Strong, smart, resilient, relentless. Being strong and smart is not something we lack. It is you that has buried your head in the sand, as in Benghazi blaming it on a video for political reasons. Being nowhere to be found on the night of the Benghazi attack. Or going into Libya by sidestepping Congress. And look where that has led. Or your support and direct involvement in the Arab Spring from the beginning, and the Muslim Brotherhood. Again, a fruitful exercise.

Here’s how. First, our military will continue to hunt down terrorist plotters in any country where it is necessary.

But it is not just the social planners of terrorism who are a problem. It is the terrorists on the street, in sleeper cells that do the damage, and lone wolves.

In Iraq and Syria, airstrikes are taking out ISIL leaders, heavy weapons, oil tankers, infrastructure. And since the attacks in Paris, our closest allies — including France, Germany, and the United Kingdom — have ramped up their contributions to our military campaign, which will help us accelerate our effort to destroy ISIL.

You mean the lackluster politically correct effort you made so far? But now France and others have stepped in to do something besides return armed bombers. Since now you have finally allowed hitting oil tankers. Wouldn’t it have been achievement if you had done some of that before, when ISIS columns were moving into the neighborhood?

Second, training and equipping to the tune of 500 million that produced four warriors.

Third, working with friends and allies sounds a lot like the first. Wait for others, lead from behind. Works every time.

Fourth, more American leadership from behind in the international community “to focus on the common goal of destroying ISIL — a group that threatens us all.” Let’s hope that proves more productive than the Iran deal. A leadership that you, Obama, have failed to demonstrate so far. I only wish you would show the same passion for that as you have for the global warming agenda.

This is our strategy to destroy ISIL. It is designed and supported by our military commanders and counterterrorism experts, together with 65 countries that have joined an American-led coalition. And we constantly examine our strategy to determine when additional steps are needed to get the job done.

You mean those changes you have been so stubbornly against? Yeah, more of that. Or you mean the job of leaving it for the next president to deal with after you removed the thousands of support troops from Iraq and grew the numbers and support for ISIS?

That’s why I’ve ordered the Departments of State and Homeland Security to review the visa program under which the female terrorist in San Bernardino originally came to this country. And that’s why I will urge high-tech and law enforcement leaders to make it harder for terrorists to use technology to escape from justice.

Finally, after an DHS spokesperson said they stand by that policy, you will now “review”(look at) that visa program. Lets hope you don’t look at it like you did the Keystone Pipeline.

To begin with, Congress should act to make sure no one on a no-fly list is able to buy a gun. What could possibly be the argument for allowing a terrorist suspect to buy a semi-automatic weapon? This is a matter of national security.

It is actually a red herring. A great talking point on the left. We have a program plagued with problems now which you want to use to control gun screening.

Finally, if Congress believes, as I do, that we are at war with ISIL, it should go ahead and vote to authorize the continued use of military force against these terrorists. For over a year, I have ordered our military to take thousands of airstrikes against ISIL targets. I think it’s time for Congress to vote to demonstrate that the American people are united, and committed, to this fight.

Another red herring, the Constitution or anything else has not stopped or prevented you before from acting, such as in Libya.

We should not be drawn once more into a long and costly ground war in Iraq or Syria. That’s what groups like ISIL want. They know they can’t defeat us on the battlefield.

That makes no real sense. If they cannot defeat us on the battlefield, why would they want us there? I get it, you are not interested in a war, even if they have declared one on us. Yet you call on Congress to declare authorization for you to act.

Even in this political season, even as we properly debate what steps I and future Presidents must take to keep our country safe, let’s make sure we never forget what makes us exceptional.

Right never forget what makes us exceptional, while denying we are exceptional. That makes sense. By the way, a good many people wish they could trust you.

Let’s not forget that freedom is more powerful than fear;

Let’s talk about that. We aren’t forgetting and haven’t. Just that we value our freedom and sovereignty more than you do. You want to entangle us and give away our sovereignty. How does that make us free or freer?

Now that you mention fear, you are building a Climate Caliphate based and founded on fear. And it seeks to limit our freedom and economic freedoms. How is that compatible with what you advocate? More specious words meant more to deceive rather than heal a climate of frustration with your use(abuse) of power.

Dr. Evil will speak on terrorism, security

So Dr. Evil, Obama will make a speech Sunday in prime time to address the nation’s terrorism concerns. Days after San Bernardino’s terrorism, the FBI finally says it is investigating it as an “act of terrorism”. Obama, who inspires confidence in less than a third of the country, now feels compelled to make a national speech to reassure people he is taking terrorism and security seriously. Talk talk talk, which is all he ever does.

And what he actually says denyies the Islamic connection to the terrorism and denies the problem we know it is. So his denial has played an active part in supporting the greatest enemy of America right now, Islamic radicalized fascists.

The real problem we didn’t know at the time was if San Bernardino was part of a wider terrorism plot yet unfolding, or an individual cell acting on it’s own. We were hardly reassured by the way they handled it from the beginning. If it was a real time plot unfolding we were kept in the dark and police collecting the bodies afterward was treating the symptoms not the disease. If they were actively preventing an ongoing real-time threat, they didn’t inspire confidence that they were up to the challenge or investigation. Just compared to France there is a big difference.

All that now behind us, after coming to terms with calling it terrorism, Obama will now seek to calm the fears of people that he is taking action, while continuing the denial of Islamic connections to the terrorism. He seems the only person in the world who is not willing to make that connection. Even Muslim countries do not deny the association.

Loretta Lynch has already said her biggest concern is blowback or Islamic hatred — Isamophopbia. Only in Obama’s world are these events downplayed as unrelated to a larger terrorism picture. Terrorists seek to maximize their physical impact while Obama seeks to minimize their (global) impact. That does no one any favors. When he downplays the threat it posses, he does the enemies work for them. Then they seek greater impact, a game no one should want to play. No one but Obama. So rather than confronting reality, he considers gun control the bomb. Likely more of the same in Dr. Evil’s speech.

The story that is not told

Victory over ISIS found in last words uttered by Christians

Inevitable Caliphate

All these problems with Islamists and terrorism throughout the world, namely the Mid East, are bad enough but we also have Muslim Islamistist sympathizers in high places. And they appear to be having influence over everything we do. Take this revealing quote from Elibiary, top adviser in DHS.

From the Clarion Project

Homeland Security’s Mohammed Elibiary: Caliphate Inevitable

Elibiary inferred that he wants the U.S. to support a future caliphate, framing it as a Muslim version of the European Union.
By Ryan Mauro
Wed, June 25, 2014

On June 13, Elibiary tweeted that the creation of a caliphate is “inevitable,” and America’s choice is whether to support it or not. He inferred that he wants the U.S. to support a future caliphate, framing it as a Muslim version of the European Union. The tweet is below:

Online supporters of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), a terrorist group that fights to reestablish the caliphate with Baghdad as its capital, distributed and praised Elibiary’s tweet.

In a follow-up tweet, he claimed that both political parties are “heading in that direction” of supporting a modern caliphate. As evidence, he pointed to the Bush Administration’s appointment of an envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference and the Obama Administration’s engagement of the Muslim Brotherhood.

In another tweet on June 21, Elibiary compared “drive by media slander of Islamism” to the segregation-era when African-Americans were treated as second-class citizens. In other words, the critics of the Islamist ideology are bigots. The tweet is below:

The governance of a potential caliphate would be based on sharia. Mosque and state would be combined. Elibiary is aware of this, but says the U.S. should not oppose sharia governance.

“We should remember that them [Islamists] ruling their countries with sharia law doesn’t mean them coming to our country and using our planes to destroy our buildings,” he told me in an extensive interview last year.

The reestablishment of the caliphate presents a direct threat to the West. A future caliph, or leader of a caliphate, would have widely recognized authority—or even an obligation—to declare and wage jihad.

Official “tolerance” alliance agenda with Muslims and Islam

DOJ: Social Media Posts Trashing Muslims May Violate Civil Rights

Judicial Watch – May 30, 2013 [*emphasis mine]

In its latest effort to protect followers of Islam in the U.S. the Obama Justice Department warns against using social media to spread information considered inflammatory against Muslims, threatening that it could constitute a violation of civil rights.

The move comes a few years after the administration became the first in history to dispatch a U.S. Attorney General to personally reassure Muslims that the Department of Justice (DOJ) is dedicated to protecting them. In the unprecedented event, Attorney General Eric Holder assured a San Francisco-based organization (Muslim Advocates) that urges members not to cooperate in federal terrorism investigations that the “us versus them” environment created by the U.S. government, law enforcement agents and fellow citizens is unacceptable and inconsistent with what America is all about.
“Muslims and Arab Americans have helped build and strengthen our nation,” Holder said after expressing that he is “grateful” to have Muslims as a partner in promoting tolerance, ensuring public safety and protecting civil rights. He also vowed to strengthen “crucial dialogue” between Muslim and Arab-American communities and law enforcement.
Evidently that was a precursor of sorts for an upcoming Tennessee event (“Public Disclosure in a Diverse Society”) that will feature the region’s top DOJ official, who serves as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and an FBI representative. The goal is to increase awareness and understanding that American Muslims are not the terrorists some have made them out to be in social media and other circles, according to a local newspaper report. The June 4 powwow is sponsored by the American Muslim Advisory Council of Tennessee.
The area’s top federal prosecutor, Bill Killian, will address a topic that most Americans are likely unfamiliar with, even those well versed on the Constitution; that federal civil rights laws can actually be violated by those who post inflammatory documents aimed at Muslims on social media. “This is an educational effort with civil rights laws as they play into freedom of religion and exercising freedom of religion,” Killian says in the local news story. “This is also to inform the public what federal laws are in effect and what the consequences are.”
The DOJ political appointee adds in the article that the upcoming presentation will also focus on Muslim culture with a special emphasis on the fact that the religion is no different from others, even though some in the faith have committed terrorist acts, Christians have done the same. As an example he offers that the worst terrorist attack in the U.S. prior to 9/11 was committed by American Christians in Oklahoma City. He also mentioned the Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting last year in which another Christian, an American white supremacist, fatally shot six people and wounded four others.
“Some of the finest people I’ve met are Muslims,” Killian said, adding later: “We want to inform everybody about what the law is, but more importantly, we want to provide what the law means to Muslims, Hindus and every other religion in the country. It’s why we came here in the first place. In England, they were using Christianity to further their power in government. That’s why the First Amendment is there.”
Over the years the Obama administration has embarked on a fervent crusade to befriend Muslims by creating a variety of outreach programs at a number of key federal agencies. For instance the nation’s Homeland Security covertly met with a group of extremist Arab, Muslim and Sikh organizations to discuss national security matters and the State Department sent a controversial, anti-America Imam (Feisal Abdul Rauf) to the Middle East to foster greater understanding and outreach among Muslim majority communities.
The Obama Administration has also hired a special Homeland Security adviser (Mohamed Elibiary) who openly supports a radical Islamist theologian and renowned jihadist ideologue and a special Islam envoy that condemns U.S. prosecutions of terrorists as “politically motivated persecutions” and has close ties to radical extremist groups.
The president has even ordered the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to shift its mission from space exploration to Muslim diplomacy and the government started a special service that delivers halal meals, prepared according to Islamic law, to home-bound seniors in Detroit. Who could forget Hillary Clinton’s special order allowing the reentry of two radical Islamic academics whose terrorist ties have long banned them from the U.S.?

A special meeting has been scheduled for the stated purpose of increasing awareness and understanding that American Muslims are not the terrorists some have made them out to be in social media and other circles.
“Public Disclosure in a Diverse Society” will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, at the Manchester-Coffee County Conference Center, 147 Hospitality Blvd.
Special speakers for the event will be Bill Killian, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and Kenneth Moore, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Knoxville Division.
Sponsor of the event is the American Muslim Advisory Council of Tennessee — a 15-member board formed two years ago when the General Assembly was considering passing legislation that would restrict those who worship Sharia Law, which is followed by Muslims.
Killian and Moore will provide input on how civil rights can be violated by those who post inflammatory documents targeted at Muslims on social media.
“This is an educational effort with civil rights laws as they play into freedom of religion and exercising freedom of religion,” Killian told The News Monday. “This is also to inform the public what federal laws are in effect and what the consequences are.”
Killian said the presentation will also focus on Muslim culture and how, that although terrorist acts have been committed by some in the faith, they are no different from those in other religions.
He referred to the 1995 Oklahoma City Bombing in which Timothy McVeigh, an American terrorist, detonated a truck bomb in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995. Commonly referred to as the Oklahoma City Bombing, the attack killed 168 people and injured more than 800.

Zak Mohyuddin, a Muslim Advisory Council member, said a shortened version of a documentary called “Welcome to Shelbyville” will also be featured.
The documentary, produced by the Public Broadcasting Service, spotlights recent demographic changes in nearby Shelbyville, with a focus on the growing number of immigrants from Latin America and Somalia with many Somalis from the Bantu minority ethnic group which practices Islam.

Thanks to Just Gene for the tip

I could write a thesis on the problems with this. But using Tim McVeigh as defense example? That one is really getting old. The truth is we’ve heard a whole lot since McVeigh. The left throws it out every opportunity they get, constantly using that bombing to indict the entire right – the outspoken right, evangelical or otherwise.  Along with extorting McVeigh as an example of the Christian faith,  which is a real stretch. They’ve done that for years.
Do you hear any mass hysteria about that bigotry speech toward the right? Never.  An American Muslim Advisory Council of Tennessee? What parallels are there to that?
Now too cute by half Muslims want to use McVeigh as a centerpiece to validate their case? That was one incident and the truth is, like in Boston, it is brought up all the time. It’s always thrown up to conservatives even when it doesn’t apply. But do they ever mention the Waco or Ruby Ridge episodes? No, just ol’ deranged Tim McVeigh – who  also justified killing children and innocent civilians as collateral damage. I don’t remember him having a following, and there was no shortage of people condemning it from…lets see….EVERYWHERE! But selective outrage and memory fails them about Jackboot Reno and the power of the “Justice” department.
Imagine the administration and DoJ engaging in collaborative efforts with those sorts of people?  Then look how they treated Tea Parties and patriots. Remember the memos about right-wing political extremists, with their suspicion lists including even soldiers returning. (soldiers a threat, not Islamists)  More of their version of fairness and social justice?
Anyway, they get a full VIP- audience to Muslims’ concerns from DoJ and the administration. When was the last tine the justice department sought to comfort your concerns as Christians or Jews? About government oppression? Or if you are an illegal or Hispanic, they give them an 800 number to call DoJ. But for Christians, they get the crushing power of government aimed at them and the cold shoulder treatment, as the IRS scandal shows. They all made Tim McVeigh into a millstone to hang around conservatives and Christians, they politicized it too.
Let’s not forget their crackdown on military chaplains praying in Jesus name, or the recent warnings about evangelizing in the military. And on, and on. Where does it end? This is no slippery slope, this is a cliff.

“Cozy on, dudes!” We have Islamophobia?
