Obama’s vacation, it’s how he rolls

Over the week, Louisisana has flooded, we had riots in Milwaukee, and reports on cooked intell reports came out. And Obama was vacationing in Martha’s Vineyard playing golf.

Now some people in Louisiana are telling Obama to cut the vacation short, get in the plane and go to Louisiana to survey the damage. If you have to tell him to, what is the point?

He has no real compassion or empathy for the American people. But for radicals and racists, sure he’ll make time in his schedule. Heck, he wants to put on his marching shoes and march with them.

But for victims in America, whether its gays being killed in Orlando by a terrorist or floods in the South, the answer is a defiant “mail it in”. For BLM, bring them to the White House.

Repugnant, arrogant a-hole. Empathy does not exist in Obama.

Landrieu down and out

Cassidy defeats Landrieu in Louisiana Senate race, bolstering GOP majority in new Senate

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) – Republican Rep. Bill Cassidy has defeated Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu, denying her a fourth term and extending the GOP’s domination of the 2014 midterm elections that put Republicans in charge of Capitol Hill for the final two years of President Barack Obama’s tenure.

With Cassidy’s victory, the GOP will hold 54 seats when the Senate convenes in January, nine more than they have now. Republican victories in two Louisiana House districts Saturday – including the seat Cassidy now holds – ensure at least 246 seats, compared to 188 for Democrats, the largest GOP advantage since the Truman administration after World War II. An Arizona recount leaves one race still outstanding.

Whoops: Landrieu disses Democratic backer

By James Hohmann | 12/4/14 | Politico

Talk about awkward.

Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) sent a fundraising email to her list Wednesday, trying to help out her colleague Mary Landrieu ahead of Saturday’s Louisiana Senate runoff.

At almost the same time, the Louisiana Democrat was direly warning voters in her home state that Cantwell could become ranking member of the Senate Energy committee if she loses this weekend, which looks almost certain.

Landrieu told voters in New Roads, La., that she likes Cantwell very much, “but …”

“I’m not sure Louisiana’s going to think very much of a senator from Washington state who’s all for windmills and alternative energy, and doesn’t support the oil and gas industry,” she said, according to Bloomberg. “That’s who’s gonna take my place as head of this committee!”

The diss has now been picked up by the Seattle media.

In her fundraising email, Cantwell wrote that Republican Bill Cassidy has the Koch brothers, “but Mary’s got us.”

“There’s … much we can accomplish together if we send Mary Landrieu back to the Senate,” she wrote.
