The Obama Onion

So Obama is not done agitating and torturing America. He trots out yet another memoir, couched as a bio, to attack all his political enemies. Nice work if you can get it.

No, it doesn’t have to be true. He can just project all his demented thoughts and motives into other people, like any fiction writer would do. Make them into whatever he wants.

Paint them all as sinister characters in his rise to “the Promised Land” – which he doesn’t seem to have found yet. Nor could he because his distaste for America is something he will never swallow. Why let all that animosity go when it got him this far, and he’s still making money off of it?

He should have called the first of a 2 volume set “The Obama Onion” — raw onion.

Obama says in a new memoir: [excerts in The Atlantic]

‘My very presence in the White House triggered a deep-seated panic’

“Through Palin,” Obama writes, “it seemed as if the dark spirits that had long been lurking on the edges of the modern Republican party – xenophobia, anti intellectualism, paranoid conspiracy theories, an antipathy toward black and brown folks – were finding their way to centre stage.”

Instead of a book about his own experience, clearly his main objective is to define and attack his opponents, smearing those he felt like taking aim at. But trying to do that in a way cunning enough that his words add legitimacy to it, since he gets to define them.

Remember it was actually the entrance of Sarah Palin in 08 that caused panic through Obama’s campaign.  (or his résumé as I call it) And it was not darkness, antipathy or xenophobia that did that. He uses his bio to slime and define his enemies?

What hemorrhages out of his statements is not OURS but Obama’s own bitter resentment toward people, particularly those who don’t accept his brand of radical and racial politics.

But what exactly did all these people do to Barack Obama? Where did they stop or prevent him from anything in his life? He sure needs a crutch and a grudge.

Promised land? Later he explained his choice for that title saying “I’m not yet ready to abandon the possibility of America.” Generous. And the timing of it and the ‘book tour?’
