Drag Line In NYC Sets Up

A NYC councilwoman came out to declare the Dragging of kid’s story time is akin to grooming kids. So now she is being attacked and criticized by the system. She called it “drag queen degeneracy.

“Progressives may have no problem with child grooming and sexualization, but I do,” Paladino tweeted. “This will not happen on my watch. Kids deserve a quality education free from political manipulation and sexual content.” –[Paladino Tweet]

The tweets came in response to a New York Post article that reported the city had spent over $200,000 on performances by the group Drag Queen Story Hour NYC.” — NY1

Eric Adams said that the city must and will continue to promote other cultures. Was there any doubt about him?

“The goal is not only for our children to be academically smart, but also emotionally intelligent,” Adams said in a statement. “Drag storytellers, and the libraries and schools that support them, are advancing a love of diversity, personal expression, and literacy that is core to what our city embraces.”

But apparently promoting any moral culture is off the table. The city is now looking for ways to punish her and turn her into a national example.

Nothing can stop the Dragging of our children. How does insanity stand for intelligence? We can’t even agree sexualizing, grooming and indoctrinating children is wrong.

Who knew the official platform for public schools was Drag — drag them into public schools and drag them up — and that it was the hill they want to die on?

What a unifying goal, how aspirational? Mayor Adams thinks it is school’s priority to promote that? So now speaking out against it becomes a punishable offense.

De Blasio: private property is the problem

Socialist NYC Mayor Bill De Blasio Admits In Interview He Wants To Abolish Private Property

American Lookout

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio calls himself a Democrat but he’s really a Socialist. In a recent interview with New York Magazine, he admitted that he wants to get rid of private property.

Take a look at this:

In 2013, you ran on reducing income inequality. Where has it been hardest to make progress? Wages, housing, schools?

What’s been hardest is the way our legal system is structured to favor private property. I think people all over this city, of every background, would like to have the city government be able to determine which building goes where, how high it will be, who gets to live in it, what the rent will be.

I think there’s a socialistic impulse, which I hear every day, in every kind of community, that they would like things to be planned in accordance to their needs. And I would, too. Unfortunately, what stands in the way of that is hundreds of years of history that have elevated property rights and wealth to the point that that’s the reality that calls the tune on a lot of development…

Look, if I had my druthers, the city government would determine every single plot of land, how development would proceed. And there would be very stringent requirements around income levels and rents.

Perhaps the Mayor could lead by example and give up all of his private property first.

But no, I disagree: De Blasio is not some kind of socialist, he’s a commie.

The steady drip, drip, drip

It’s Ferguson, it’s NYC, no it’s everywhere. In fact, it isn’t black, native American, or other, it’s everyone. And it’s law enforcement across the board.

So that is Obama’s latest on the police acting stupidly, in Obama’s narrative. Only there is no summit in sight on the problem.

Remember last year under the sequester when Obama wanted America to feel the pain of budget restrictions? He threatened us with cuts to fire and police departments. He used those threats as fodder against any opposition to his unilateral agenda.

Now he critiques the cops for their treatment of people. And he broadens it to their treatment of, well, everyone.

His latest statements come on the heels of the NYC grand jury decision not to prosecute police for “murder” or death of Garner, in their arrest of him for selling cigarettes. A case where, once again, Al Sharpton is front and center in the case and reaction to the decision. It’s amazing he can still have time to have a show on MSNBC. But this is probably considered being “on assignment.”

Obama on NY grand jury decision: ‘This is an American problem’

December 03, 2014 | The Hill

President Obama vowed Wednesday that he would not “let up” in his push to address law enforcement issues after a grand jury in New York opted not to bring criminal charges in the case of Eric Garner, a black man killed when a white police officer placed him in a chokehold.

“It is incumbent upon all of us as Americans, regardless of race, region, faith, that we recognize this is an American problem and not just a black problem or a brown problem or a Native American problem; this is an American problem.

“When anybody in this country is not being treated equally under the law, that’s a problem. And it’s my job as president to help solve it,” he said.

Obama said the Garner case speaks “to the larger issues we’ve been talking about now for the last week, the last month, the last year and sadly for decades.”

“Unfortunately, we are seeing too many incidences where people just do not have confidence that folks are being treated fairly,” Obama said.

The president said he had spoken to Attorney General Eric Holder on the phone, and that the Justice Department would have additional information about the federal response to the grand jury finding.

Okay, people are not being treated fairly, and people across the country do not have confidence in the system. That might have some merit in the broader context.

Either people are not being treated fairly, or there is some wide perception in the public that they are not. But when we the people took issue with the border, we were told everything was fine and that we just had a perception problem.

Now based on a few individual instances, he tells us people are not being treated fairly. And that he supposedly stands on the side of the mistreated people. In other words, like an Al Sharpton in the Oval Office. He rolls all this out as if it were just a matter of fact that everyone knows. (contrary to his reaction to what most people think of the border)

Furthermore, if he wants to talk fairness, how about the way he treated this last flood of illegals over the border? Now he wants to lecture us about fairness? Or how about the way the IRS treated conservatives for years? Remember his get to the bottom of this…before his “not a smidgen of corruption” line. But he is a one-man crusader for fairness.

The real dirty truth about Obama is it very much matters who you are, what color you are, what demographic you are, what political party you belong to, or how much money you have, or what job you have, or who your employer is in the way you are treated. This is just how he and his Democrat colleagues see things. Now he once again comes out pushing his old canard about equality, fairness, and victimhood. And if you trust either he or Holder as the guardians for fairness, then you really need your head examined.

Just what we need, Obama vowing a campaign for fairness. He didn’t even demonstrate fairness in his presidential campaigns. And he didn’t push his Obamacare fairly.

Now, he is Obama, Captain fairness. Captain Hypocrite is more accurate. Any time Obama lectures about fairness, look out. These days lies travel faster than the speed of airwaves, especially from the bully pulpit.

Ebola censorship and famine

NY Post reports that NYC 911 dispatchers are forbidden from saying the E-word, Ebola over the radio transmissions.

“Just like you can’t say bomb on an airplane, we can’t say ‘Ebola.’ ”

Nothing I can add.

Cuomo Vows to Defend Charter Schools, Setting Up Another Battle With de Blasio

By MARC SANTORAMARCH 4, 2014

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo, standing shoulder to shoulder in Albany with thousands of parents and students who rallied in support of charter schools, vowed on Tuesday to defend the movement and offered a sharply different vision for their place in the educational system than Mayor Bill de Blasio’s.

We are here today to tell you that we stand with you,” Mr. Cuomo said. “You are not alone. We will save charter schools.

Mr. de Blasio has pledged to slow the growth of charter schools in New York City, and announced last week that he would block three schools from using space in traditional public school buildings. The move was denounced by charter school leaders, who promised to show up en masse in the state capital to voice their dissent.

Mr. de Blasio, who also traveled to Albany on Tuesday to once again press for a tax on the city’s wealthiest residents to pay for universal prekindergarten, last week dismissed their efforts as a “sideshow.”

Mr. Cuomo’s decision to speak at the rally brought the issue center stage, sapping some of the attention from Mr. de Blasio’s rally, and set up yet another political battle between the new mayor and the governor — one that might have wider national implications since the efficacy of charter schools is a subject of debate across the country.

Cuomo standing shoulder to shoulder with parents kind of makes me want to grab a Teddy bear…. almost. Touching. But politics makes for some strange bedfellows, sometimes. Now, would Cuomo actually listen to those concerned parents? How’s that common core doing?

Personally, I’d like to see a good knock-down, drag-out fight among progressives anywhere – steel cage match. Not that it would do much good.

Islamists go marching along

Radical Imagery at NY Muslim Day Parade

IPT News
September 24, 2013

Hundreds of people marched in a “Muslim Day Parade” Sunday in New York City that was hosted by the Muslim Foundation of America.

The parade, an annual event held on the last Sunday in September, is intended to bring together “Muslim-Americans from the five boroughs and beyond, celebrating the rich, cultural traditions of a faith that has provided hope, support, and comfort to generations of New Yorkers.”

According to its website, the parade “gives all New Yorkers an opportunity to renew their commitment to our city’s diverse spiritual community and to commemorate the tremendous contributions of Muslim New Yorkers.”

There were scores of people marching who seemed to buy into that, with Muslim law enforcement officers marching in uniform and some groups proudly waving American flags. New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly made an appearance, seeming to indicate that the city wanted to support its Muslim community.

But many used the event to utter political messages. A sizeable contingent carried signs or wore T-shirts with images of ousted Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and with the “R4bia” logo indicating solidarity with Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood. Morsi was forced from office after an estimated 30 million Egyptians – nearly half the country – took to the streets to protest his year in office. Critics say Morsi was more focused on consolidating power for Islamists than in addressing social and economic crises in the country.

Upon closer inspection, an otherwise sweet scene of young children singing about their devotion to Islam, included the toddlers holding up R4rbia’s tell-tale hand gesture.

Now that sounds like a real circus, not a parade.

Welcome to Wienerville

That’s the place where apparently you say and/or do anything you want, and complain about bad press coverage after. I admit “Yes he did” was the only thing I’ve been thinking on Anthony Wiener. I tried to avoid discussing it.  Even the jokes get old.

When Wiener’s road show seems to hit a dead end, he adds a few more rings to his circus. I mean if you thought he was raunchy, he just outdid himself… or his campaign upstaged him. He must be hiring from his personal email list.

Turns out his communications person for the campaign is a walking talking x-rated gaffe-master, sorority girl in her own right. That must be common for him because one of his disgruntled intern staffers wrote a tell-all about Wiener’s campaign.

But just as you think that is bad enough to have a staffer spilling the beans on the x-rated candidate, the reaction from his spokesperson was even worse. She called her a bitch, the c-word, the t-word, and finished her sorority smack down by calling her a “slutbag”, which lit twitter on fire. Is the whole world laughing yet? She also said she was going to fire her but the staffer begged for a second chance. ( Didn’t I hear that one before?)

Apparently everyone around the globe is now waiting for the definition of “slutbag”

Talking Points memo said:

TPM called Weiner’s communications director Barbara Morgan to discuss an unrelated story Tuesday and she went off on a curse-filled rant about Nuzzi, describing her as a fame hungry “bitch” who “sucked” at her job. Morgan also called Nuzzi a “slutbag,” “t**t,” and “c**!” while threatening to sue her.

Imagine that, Nuzzi sucked at her job but she kept her. Now I’m really confused.

Yesterday you had Clinton’s pissed off at Wiener. Is there anyone left he hasn’t offended? Yet yesterday he also took to the air saying: ‘Quit isn’t the way we roll in New York City’. And how we heard from his spokesperson, any questions? So we just had to see the way Anthony Wiener rolls.

Unlike Wiener, by tomorrow I’ll be embarrassed that I posted this.

Update to the story: Wiener’s communication director apologized for her language thinking it was off-record. Duh, a campaign has a communications blowout and she thought it was off record? Does the DNC need a new communications person?

Welcome to Wienerworld, where anything can happen at any time – apologies to follow.
Good thing his spokesperson is a woman, or he might have had a real problem.

As Led Zeppelin’s song by the same name goes:
“Communication Breakdown, It’s always the same,
I’m having a nervous breakdown, Drive me insane!”

The Food Gestapo

What is it with power and food?

NYC’s Mayor Bloomberg believes he is the food police. And apparently Obama has to have a food taster before he can eat it.

Daily Caller

“Unfortunately, you know, the president can’t,” said Collins when asked if Obama ate at the lunch meeting.

“Collins continued, “He honestly did look longingly at it, but apparently he has to have essentially a taster, and I pointed out to him that we were all tasters for him, that if the food had been poisoned all of us would have keeled over…”

It’s long been rumored that the Secret Service has someone taste the food for the commander-in-chief before he eats meals prepared outside of the White House, but it’s never been officially confirmed.

Obama shared another fear during the campaign that an immigrant could be harassed while taking a child for ice cream.

But now suddenly if you don’t have your papers and you took your kid out to get ice cream, you’re going to be harassed, that’s something that could potentially happen. — Obama

Obama likes his straw men with ice cream.

Bloomberg wants to regulate food like the gestapo, which tells me power is just as dangerous as crack addiction and far more seductive than alcoholism.

Newsday

“We are moving forward immediately with our appeal,” said Michael A. Cardozo, corporation counsel of the city’s law department. “We believe the judge was wrong in rejecting this important public health initiative. We also feel he took an unduly narrow view of the Board of Health’s powers.”

Maybe Bloomy could just ban large cup holders.

Obama cannot trust anything being served until it is tasted first, and Bloomberg believes he needs to regulate what the people can have. And they both believe in severely regulating what people can do.

What is with their fear and obsession over food? I wonder if Bloomberg has a food taster?

Too Bad these people weren’t around to advise Adam and Eve, they could have saved us a whole lot of trouble. That puts it into perspective, they believe they are gods and they fear what people can do.

So what are you giving up for lent? How about obsessive, power-hungry politicians…or are we too addicted to them?

I scream, you scream, we scream for freedom.

NYC schools give out morning-after pills to students — without telling parents

The Department of Education is giving morning-after pills and other birth-control drugs to students at 13 high schools, The Post has learned.

School nurse offices stocked with the contraceptives can dispense “Plan B” emergency contraception and other oral or injectable birth control to girls without telling their parents — unless parents opt out after getting a school informational letter about the new program.

CATCH — Connecting Adolescents To Comprehensive Health — is part of a citywide attack against the epidemic of teen pregnancy, which spurs many girls — most of them poor — to drop out of school.
