The Trial On American Culture

Some people might find this fascinating while others might think it is old news. Though I promise it is interesting how it all comes together in the present, in a unique way that might make more sense than what is happening daily in front of our faces .

It’s no secret I’ve been in religious battles from way back. I’m not writing a book here so I will be brief on details. I’m not lecturing anyone either. Those issues and battles may turn some people off. I hear that. But there is sort of the point: it does turn people off.

Allow me to explain about others like me who were engaged in those religious liberty issues by working all sides of the Constitution and our God-given rights with passion.

What is most interesting here is the opposition to our views — I mean the left or hard Left. They had a venom that defies description. All things were on the table. They used everything they could muster to try to knock down any Christian arguments or concepts.

They claimed to be big on freedom like that phrase “freedom from religion”. Within their perspective contained all the rights and freedoms they could find to oppose you. In fact they claimed to be real freedom zealots who just did not want anyone shoving Christianity, or its views, down their throats. Never take Leftists at their word.

So they were supposedly advocates for virtually any freedom, from thought to reason, to first and even acknowledging some second amendment rights. They were not against your freedom, but it had to be hospitable to their freedom and use of it. I won’t bore you.

The wider message was the more freedom the better. However, when it came to Christianity – since it is the only religion they were worried about — they were out to smear it any way possible. If they had to make things up, distort, lie, rip out of context; it didn’t matter what it took. They were out to destroy it as far as the public view anyway. There could be nothing left standing untouched, or unscathed. Scorched earth.

Now you should start to see where I am going with this. So any credible source or hero of Christianity was tarred and feathered. No credibility was to be left to them, whether it was a founder,a great Christian philosopher or writer. The Christian view was to be decimated in such a way no one would have any confidence, or very little. It was really meant to shake our faith. They didn’t want us to believe in it. Thus, question everything.

Sure they used lots of straw men. They fear-mongered about theocracy and projected that we were pushing it on everyone else. Of course it was the exact opposite; they were strategically pushing their hard-line theology on everyone else. It’s sneaky and deceitful.

They wanted nothing left but their view. Tear it all down. I say this because it was a perfect forerunner to what leftists are doing now. Remember: first they came for the Jews, but I didn’t care…. Then they came for the Christians, but I didn’t care. And a lot of people didn’t care about those arguments at the time. Who is going to care?

Liberals, as I called them, said they were all about enlightenment or exercising all liberties freely, but take your faith back into the prayer closet. It should be kept from the public square. Certainly people are familiar with those perspectives.

What I am saying is it was the exact same methodology used then as is applied to everything today. Oh, one would have thought they were the biggest zealots for liberty then. Some real Ayn Rand and Thomas Jefferson or Thomas Paine fans. Right!

Flash forward, now leftists are smearing everything and everyone in history. America just has bad roots. It is stained with blood, etc. Well, you can hear it all everywhere.

Everything is rotten in America. Thou shall have no pride in it. A pox on traditions, too.

But that was the same thing they did to Christians, especially strong ones. Leftists wanted to knock it down at least until no longer functionally influential. And preferably until you were beaten enough to stop fighting. So roll over and let them define, redefine everything in culture and America.

Now we see that was only a rehearsal for what they are doing on a larger scale today, It is the entire country they take issue with. There is no doubt about it. And they don’t want anything good to be left unscathed by their wrath for the country or its history.

In doing so, everything great and good about America is to be defamed or destroyed. No heroes or good history. Everything was bad since its inception. In fact, it was founded on lies and evil. Now you see the similarities, almost verbatim as if planned. But if you heard their rhetoric then, or 20 years ago, it feels like déjà vu mixed with voodoo now.

Destroy Christianity and its moral underpinnings, first. But if you cannot destroy it, then at least destroy people’s faith in it. Leave them no comfort.

Next, do the same thing to the entire fabric of the country. Create distortions, divisions and disagreements. Make everything seem questionable. Throw basic reason under the bus. Then destroy people’s confidence in it all and our foundation. After all, nothing can be salvaged or remain above the watermark. Only their useful bureaucracy.

Does it start to make sense, with all the statues being torn down? Every founder or notable person has tar on them. Every one. Bring out only the bad side of everything in America. This works on people how? Well, it tears down what you thought you held in high regard. Turns out that nothing can be held in esteem. All of it was a lie, or so their mantra goes.

Coincidence, I don’t think so. Now everything is so politicized, meaning nothing is left un-politicized., Well, because all is subservient to their radical ideology. And it is an anti-American, anti-Christian ideology. (commie is more like it)

Now they even get reinforcement aid from some left-wing Christians who are fully on board with this social justice war-gaming, which is only an extension of this ideology. (Liberation theology) Driven more by what it doesn’t like than what it likes because it respects almost nothing except power – political power to propel its evolution.

That is the shortest summary I’m able to give and still get the point across of the sinister nature to it. But I think knowing that makes a much clearer picture about what is taking place. Rather than just being blindsided as to what is going on or why.

The next time Democrats or the Left lectures us about “this is not who we are,” this past is who they still are. So remember we know exactly who they are – or what they are not.

A New Thomas Paine

If you thought the American Revolution was so 1700’s, you would be wrong. We have an ongoing American Revolution happening right now. More and more people are finally realizing it, after spending years in denial. Social, civil, cultural all rolled into one.

As then, today’s Thomas Paine is a once little-known Tucker Carlson turned superstar. That is for being the one large megaphone speaking directly to and about what is going on.

But instead of being a hero he is attacked for his unbridled ability to tell the truth daily about the state of the revolution and stakes of it. Of course that only makes him a big target for Leftist thugs who care as much about free speech as Charman Mao.

Anyway, a real and active revolution it is today and it seems very few are willing to even try to stop it. But these are no freedom-loving revolutionaries waging it. In fact, sometimes you wonder what exactly they do stand for since it is not individual rights. It is more concerned with tearing down the social construct of civilization. Anything from bathrooms to police and border agents are in their cross hairs. And they seem to be getting their way.

I was floored to see Rasmussen say that 62% of people view Black Lives Matter favorably, or BLM. I knew that was not a good thing, if people think favorably about a Marxist revolutionary outfit that believes in stifling free speech.

When people in this country see a consensus of this kind forming, it should send chills up their back or light their hair on fire. But not here and not now. Sure, it’s all too cool.

The NYC Police Commissioner decides he is going to cut 600 non-uniformed, plain-clothes cops in NYC. Why would he do that? Well, to appease the radicals and the mayor.

I heard someone mocking our notion about defunding police saying how ridiculous we are. She said they don’t want to cut cops. I don’t know how we would abolish cops, she added? Well, how about one cop at a time? That’s how. It’s called attrition.

When you cut the funds or simply detour them elsewhere, then it forces cuts. And when cops leave or are forced out, you don’t replace them. The NY Comm. is giving them a big head start by whacking 600 off the top. Pretty soon you just don’t have the funds to adequately support police. But we are supposed to be dumb enough not to believe it?

This radicalism is also telegraphing a direct threat. They are telling us 5 months before election that if we should elect Donald Trump, again, look what is going to happen everywhere. So if you don’t yet see this as a revolution or threat, you should start to because it is not changing or going away.

Now here is another poll from Rasmussen. It finds that “40% see civil war as likely.” What if we were already engaged in civil war but have not yet realized it? What does it take? I mean they are doing their damndest to send us that message. We would be stupid not to get it. Seems like 40% of people have begun to accept that message.

And so far, Tucker Carlson is the only one calling it as it is.

The Mushroom People

One of the most refreshing things so far about the Trump Presidency is the lack of comparisons to the Bush administration. If the Bushies thought they set the standard or high water mark in that administration, they were wrong.

Instead, the Obama administration did set the high mark for politicizing and weaponizing every faucet of government against its enemies; spying on citizens and its political opponents. That has no equal.

So comparisons of both of those to Trump are without merit. Trump charted a new course.

Obama used government as a weapon against all his enemies. He had his records sealed. What was that all about? What is he hiding? They went to endless lengths to attack their political opponents and still do. Then there was an elaborate cover up of it all.

Fortunately, we never saw a Hillary administration in action, which would have taken weaponization to new levels. But she did bequeath a dossier from foreign agents and back fed it into our government/intelligence, spawning a witch hunt and Deep State coup.

And Obama still thinks he has scores to settle. However, it was us who were violated, victimized and villainized. It continues three years later. What did we do wrong?

Still Trump gets the btunt of all the attacks from both Obama people and old never-Trumpers seeking to stop him. He’s attacked like no president in modern history. All because he refused to play the game the way they play it. And he has the people standing on his side like no other because of it.

As predicted, they impeached him the first chance they got just as they promised to do from the beginning. Talk about grudges and vendettas. They even ran a full-blown soft coup from Deep State before that. They undermine every policy he’s had. They mock him while showing no respect for the office or the people who elected him. They call us names and attack us.

Who do these people think they are? They tell us they are the “Resistance.” They’ve taken it to new levels of sedition. They themselves undermine any democracy in the country. In their book, losers are winners and winners become losers. They’ve said they’ll do whatever it takes to oppose Trump. If it means breaking the law, so be it.

If it means defying and opposing what the country stands for, they’ll do it. If it means using every part of government they can lay siege on or hijack to get their way, they are willing to use it against the president. These are the dregs and cream of the seditious crop. They are traitors to the country, claiming to stand on some principle of opposition.

And now, now, they want to push socialism on us like some new morality. They believe the answer to every one of our problems is socialism. But even that is not quite enough. They are really Marxists. And their so-called resistance is against anyone in their way.

Yes, it is a Revolution like Bernie says. Democrats have become the party of sedition and insurrection until they get their way. They thrive off the darkest corners of our society.

Seduction of Sedition

What have we learned? That politics over country is status quo, and party politics is all there is for the Left. It has been this way for some time.

When people have no priority to their country, party is everything. The sedition movement consumes everything. Where was resistance when we really needed it?

I think we learned this thing engulfing the left, this sedition, is very seductive. It draws people into its vortex and keeps churning them into anti-American parasites.

The latest example was Michael Cohen. It’s hard to believe he was an attorney and Trump’s attorney. Of course they must use sedition to atack and destroy the grassroots trying to save and preserve the country. They claim to be trying to save democracy while destroying it. Party before country or anything else. Now it is party loyalty to take down a sitting president, everything else be damned. Nothing but politics matters.

And that politics is a radical leftist ideology, fomenting a coup and revolution in one.

Another seductive force of the Left is socialism. It operates the same way as sedition, consuming people like a wild fire. But many of us see it as communism on the rise. Their objective is to imitate the ’68 French model commonly known as a rise from below (or rise from under), sought for years. The left combined it with sedition to drive the model.

The design of which is to create an appearance of common folks rising up, in a revolution style, to demand and push the socialism they desire. A grassroots appearance is their goal and means. (Anarcho-commies, Marxists, socialists, Leftists) Bernie gave them the vehicle. Now they have this movement with its perceived momentum. That is nirvana to Leftists.

It is a revolution and coup by other means. Bringing us right up to Bernie’s call for economic and political transformation — sans the term revolution.

What we have generally with the progressive Left is what we have in Bernie Sanders: one whose loyalty is only to political ideology. A dangerous condition.

State of the nation is gross incompetence, with a strong dictatorship strain

There is an increasing consensus out there formed over years.

The State Of The Nation: A Dictatorship Without Tears

Source: John Whitehead via The Rutherford Institute  | Blacklisted News

“Government incompetence, corruption and lack of accountability continue to result in the loss of vast amounts of money and weapons. A Reuters investigation revealed $8.5 trillion in “taxpayer money doled out by Congress to the Pentagon since 1996 that has never been accounted for.” Then there was the $500 million in Pentagon weapons, aircraft and equipment (small arms, ammunition, night-vision goggles, patrol boats, vehicles and other supplies) that the U.S. military somehow lost track of.”
\
“If this brief catalogue of our national woes proves anything at all, it is that the American experiment in liberty has failed, and as political economist Lawrence Hunter warns, it is only a matter of time before people realize it.”

One may not agree with the entire synopsis but it is hard to disagree with the facts. Actually, the “revolution” that some are calling for is more of the same at a faster pace. Just see the progressives’ talking points for that.

Seeing is believing vs seeing is denial

Future generations will either be commending our determination and decisions, or they will be condemning our ignorance. Maybe some of each.

Would it be alright if we did get to the moon and made quantum leaps in space, yet succumbed to the ploy of communism right here on earth? Both matter.

Sadly, these are the things we must ponder. It is not a philosophical quandary, those events and actions have real consequences.

I see the way the leftists operate as if anything and everything will be alright as long as it is done through an all-powerful state, with the correct political view. Statists refuse to see that their decisions will affect the world far into the future.

It is like going into an urban setting seeing the graffiti on the concrete walls. Some see that as art — maybe it grows on you — but I can’t help being repelled by it. I would rather see the bare concrete wall than what someone airbrushed on it. Maybe it is me and a matter of preference. The Berlin wall was that way with all the graffiti on it. It was still what it was. Does that make me a minimalist or something? I don’t know.

So seeing Islamism as a threat is much the same. I don’t want to hear someone’s interpretation of it as non-threatening, peaceful – ‘just another organized religion’… blah blah. At some point something is what it is. People fell for the lure of psychedelic peace and love chants in the 60’s, and then there was Charles Manson right in the middle of it. Someone might have said that it was entirely predictable, yet others were horrified at how that could be? I’m sure some well-intentioned people were lured by the peace and love talk about Islam, too, but there is much more going on there. Remember Mohamed Ali, then look at the present Middle East. Both cannot be so. Then many fell for Obama’s rhetoric.

Planes flew into towers and soon some said “American’s chickens have come home to roost.” Good soundbite. And it came from the halls of academia. It echoed from Leftists. Remember those in California saying they would never be attacked because they are “tolerant” people. (New York was intolerant?) When you spread it out there is a constant message in a continuum. Some call it denial. People did not want to believe we would be involved in WWII. Then Pearl Harbor. Much can be made of things and then there is reality. Go back to Thomas Paine writing his pamphlets. Then, even some clergy thought a revolution was wrong and just a simple matter of sitting down with the king.

So “one giant leap for mankind” could come at the expense of freedom on earth. Some may say that is not the way it should happen -both mattered. Though decades later, one wonders what really prevailed? What’s that saying about winning the battle and losing the war? I try to wrap my head around the notion that if we can just beat the threat of Islam, all will be well again. But the greater threat will always be with us – it’s only one example. Islam has been a threat since before the founding of America but somehow it will be ended because someone paints a happy face on it, or conveys its message just the right way? Patience is a virtue, it isn’t stupidity or mere complacency. Is that “One giant leap”?
