Time for a change, or not

We’re well overdue for change. If we were in need of it before Obama, well, he doubled that need. This is a different kind of change proposed and for a different type of people it applies to. The type who normally frown on civil disobedience, not praise it in all situations.

Columnist to America’s Christians: It’s Time for Civil Disobedience

03 Jul 2015 By : WND
By Matt Barber

“Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.”

– John 15:20

The push back has begun. Christian business owners, lawyers, parents, judges, county clerks, organizations, universities, hospitals, adoption agencies and other individuals and groups have been given an ultimatum by five unelected, unaccountable liberals in Washington, D.C.: “You must now obey us and disobey God. You must pretend, with us, that sin-based same-sex ‘marriage’ is an actual thing.”

To which we say, “Not on your life.”

“Or our own.”

Many of us have long warned that this day would come, and it has arrived. In the Spirit of Daniel the prophet and MLK the reverend, we Christians must now engage, as relates our peaceful response to the imposition of counterfeit same-sex “marriage,” in widespread civil disobedience. It’s the right thing to do. In fact, it’s a sin if we don’t.

“So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.” (James 4:17)

We’ll see about that push back or how far it goes? Time will tell. My guess is if Pope Francis spoke against same-sex marriage he would be promptly ignored, where he’s celebrated presently for his global warming stand. But what the media really wants to know is if the Pope chews on cocoa leaves in South America — not his view on same-sex marriage.

As to faithful Christians, the call is out. How do they or churches respond?

Occupation of hating Israel

Barack Obama’s top aide says Israeli ‘occupation’ must end

Dennis McDonough says the White House isn’t impressed with Israeli prime minister’s effort to backtrack on campaign comments.

By Edward-Isaac Dovere — 3/23/15 | Politico

White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough made clear in a speech to a left-leaning Israel advocacy group that President Barack Obama isn’t letting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu off the hook for his dismissal of a two-state solution.

That stance, as well as Netanyahu’s suggestion also made in the closing days before last week’s Israeli elections that he’d approved settlements in contested territory in Jerusalem for the strategic purpose of changing the borders are “so very troubling,” McDonough told J Street’s annual conference in Washington. He called the pro-Israel group, which opposes some of Netanyahu’s policies, “our partner.”

“We cannot simply pretend that these comments were never made,” McDonough said.

“An occupation that has lasted more than 50 years must end,” McDonough said, one of several times he brought the crowd to its feet.

Let’s put it this way, anyone or thing that opposes Netanyahu or Israel they’ll call “our partner”. But, as usual, it is worse than that. McDonough also referenced the BDS movement. (dominated by his Leftist base.) And as noted, he gets applause for using the tag line “occupation”. Or as Joseph Farah points out in his column:

Yes, I’ll say it: Obama is anti-Semitic

Exclusive: Joseph Farah examines president’s ‘outrageous anti-Israel policies
WND

(Editor’s note: Joseph Farah wrote this column before the Obama administration betrayed Israel in the most shocking way by revealing classified information about its nuclear program.)

What’s that old adage?

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s probably a duck.

Oh its a duck alright. What follows in his piece is an indictment of the Obama administration’s anti-Semitic behavior. So deeper than the dust up between Netanyahu, it is downright bigotry and hatred toward Israel. Then Obama and his cohorts have the nerve to act like they are an ally or friends with Israel?

Item #3 — How does Obama spell revenge?

US Declassifies Document Revealing Israel’s Nuclear Program

Obama revenge for Netanyahu’s Congress talk? 1987 report on Israel’s top secret nuclear program released in unprecedented move.
By Ari Yashar, Matt Wanderman — 3/25/2015 | Israel National News

In a development that has largely been missed by mainstream media, the Pentagon early last month quietly declassified a Department of Defense top-secret document detailing Israel’s nuclear program, a highly covert topic that Israel has never formally announced to avoid a regional nuclear arms race, and which the US until now has respected by remaining silent.[…/]

It will be interesting to see how the Obamafiles explain that one away. Hardly just a tiff with Netanyahu. They aren’t even trying to hide it. Or, as Obama’s White House would point out: if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, it must be a microwave oven.

Ask not…

Pamela Geller really showed her spotlight on barbaric terrorism in Europe, right under the watchful eyes of police and Scotland Yard. Can you guess how they handled it?

Pamela Geller, WND Column:
Another Beheading In Broad Daylight Outside London

Elderly woman beheaded by Muslim while gardening
Exclusive: Pamela Geller exposes reaction to brutal killing in broad daylight.

One day after the gruesome beheading of the second American journalist in almost as many days, Palmira Silva, an elderly woman of Italian descent, had her head chopped off while gardening in her backyard in a suburb of London, in broad daylight.

British authorities, notoriously derelict in their duties whenever those duties interfere with their overarching task of protecting and advancing Islam, alerted the media, while insisting it was not “terrorism.” Scotland Yard made the same assertions.

How could they know? The blood was still pouring out of the woman’s neck. They didn’t initially release any information about the beheader, saying only that it wasn’t terrorism. But of course, any rational thinker was suspicious. Were they insisting it wasn’t terrorism because the perpetrator wasn’t Muslim? Or were they insisting that it wasn’t terrorism because the perp was Muslim?

Needless to say, the perpetrator did turn out to be Muslim: Nicholas Salvadore, “Fat Nick,” a convert to Islam. The enemedia, true to form, is not giving his Muslim name. Indeed, from the very first, the media obfuscated the fact that he is a Muslim. …/

Keep in mind the below is better read as prose as it was originally written.

For whom the bell tolls a poem

(No man is an island) by John Donne

No man is an island,
Entire of itself.
Each is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thine own
Or of thine friend’s were.
Each man’s death diminishes me,
For I am involved in mankind.
Therefore, send not to know
For whom the bell tolls,
It tolls for thee.

This famous writing has been quoted countless times. It carries the sentiment on the value of a human life. However, to Islamists and the terrorists, it is just the opposite. The value, or the emphasis, is on death. The death of their victims and even their own death. Osama bin Laden stated it succinctly that we value life and they value death. At least that much we should all be able to agree on. But agree on the value of life? No.

Then you have this, under frustrating information. How many people sympathize or agree with the Islamic State? The poll asked if they had a favorable or unfavorable view of ISIS?

The picture looks like this in Europe’s polled countries, and Gaza.

See Vox article: http://www.vox.com/2014/8/26/6067123/isis-poll

Is this the same France that Jefferson once allied with in the battle against the Barbary pirates? It seems they’ve forgotten much. Have we? Inspiration is from Pamela’s column.

Obama switched sides

Mideast expert: Obama switched sides in war on terror

‘America has moved toward its Muslim enemies’
by Garth Kant | WND
August 28, 2014

WASHINGTON – It’s an explosive charge, one that puts the president’s motives into question.

A former CIA agent bluntly told WND, America has switched sides in the war on terror under President Obama.

Clare Lopez was willing to say what a few members of Congress have confided to WND in private, but declined to say on-the-record.

She said the global war on terror had been an effort to “stay free of Shariah,” or repressive Islamic law, until the Obama administration began siding with such jihadist groups as the Muslim Brotherhood and its affiliates.

Why the switch?

Lopez explained, when the so-called Arab Spring appeared in late 2010, “It was time to bring down the secular Muslim rulers who did not enforce Islamic law. And America helped.”

And why would Obama want to do that?

As she told WND earlier this month, Lopez believed the Muslim Brotherhood has thoroughly infiltrated the Obama administration and other branches of the federal government.

She also came to the conclusion Obama had essentially the same goals in the Mideast as the late Osama bin Laden: “to remove American power and influence, including military forces, from Islamic lands.”

Why would Obama order the killing of bin Laden?

Because the president “couldn’t delay any longer,” once the opportunity was presented, Lopez told WND.

There were “no more excuses” available to avoid it and he “thought it might look good,” she mused.

The former CIA operative’s perspective affects her prescription for what the U.S. should do about the terror army ISIS, as she called for caution and restraint.

While there has been a sudden chorus of politicians and military experts calling for the immediate elimination of the terrorist army after it beheaded American journalist James Foley last week, Lopez believes the U.S. should have an overall strategy in place before fully re-engaging in the Mideast militarily.

Any military action would be further complicated, she told WND, if it were not clear which side the U.S. is on, either in the short term or in the overall war on terror.

Lopez’s insights are backed by an impressive array of credentials.

Former CIA operations officer Clare Lopez

She spent two decades in the field as a CIA operations officer; was an instructor for military intelligence and special forces students; has been a consultant, intelligence analyst and researcher within the defense sector; and has published two books on Iran. Lopez currently manages the counter-jihad and Shariah programs at the Center for Security Policy, run by Frank Gaffney, former assistant secretary of defense for international security policy during the Reagan administration.

“Not a Smidgeon…” let us count the ways

Obama did it again, spouting clear falsehoods — known in most places as lies. But then compared to Benghazi and then Obamacare’s sales pitch, maybe he thought this was just a minor non-truth lie. The rancid “phony scandal” material just keeps on oozing out, like toxic waste, from this administration. (thanks to Dave for the info)

The Bastid in Chief was unequivocal in telling O’Reilly on Super Bowl Sunday:

“President Barack Obama again denied any wrongdoing by the IRS over their targeting of conservative tea party groups, telling Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly there was “not even a smidgen of corruption” in the way the tax enforcer processed tea partiers’ 501(c)4 paperwork.”

Time to make the donuts …and the stories. Those crickets chirping about that claim in media could not be louder. Right, it’s only Fox driving the ‘phony scandal’. Wow, Fox must be awfully good to have set all this up. Maybe MSM will tell us that story how Fox concocted and promoted all this stuff?

IRS smoking gun awakens sleeping giant

‘Fox isn’t guarding henhouse. Fox has set up the deep fryer’
by Bob Unruh | WND Exclusive

A member of Congress is warning that it’s time to “prosecute” the IRS, and a top-flight legal team is planning an investigation – with the possibility of a request for congressional hearings – after discovering from a WND report that the IRS sends small exempt organizations to a major progressive think tank to have tax details processed.
“We’re going to be conducting an investigation,” said attorney Kevin Snider of the Pacific Justice Institute. “If there’s something that’s questionable, we’re going to ask for congressional hearings.”
He said the government needs to have a standard “above reproach” and exhibiting “complete neutrality” for its operations, especially in work such as that conducted by the IRS, which already has been facing criticism for its admitted targeting of conservative organizations.
The warning about a prosecution came from Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., who said, “WND did the investigation the IRS refused to do.”
“The IRS fox isn’t guarding the henhouse,” she said, “The IRS fox has set up the deep fryer for immediate carcass processing! Served ‘progressive style’!”
She continued, “The people to Holder: Time to prosecute!”
WND’s report revealed the IRS contracts with an avowedly “progressive” organization, the Urban Institute, supported by George Soros to process data filed by smaller tax-exempt groups.
The president of Urban Institute, also, is Sarah Rosen Wartell, who is the co-founder of the Center for American Progress. That widely is considered ground zero for the development of many of the Obama administration’s progressive policies.
For certain organizations with limited income and charitable goals, the IRS directs them to file with that supposedly “nonpartisan” organization, where employees have a record of donating nearly 100 percent of their political contributions to Democrats.
Officially, the Urban Institute advocates for totally socialized medicine, carbon taxes and amnesty for illegal aliens.
Cleta Mitchell, a top-flight Washington attorney, told WND, “If true, this is a violation of federal law. And since most of the tea-party groups have annual revenues of [$50,k000] or less, this would redirect their filings to a group whose mission is fundamentally at odds with tea-party organizations.”
She continued, “Federal law strictly prohibits the disclosure of confidential taxpayer information to persons outside the IRS. It is a felony to disseminate the information.
“Surely this cannot be happening. Surely,” she said. “This would be well more than a ‘smidgen’ of corruption.” …/

How about a pant load of corruption…. make that a boat load? But don’t expect the lamestream to cover the “phony scandal” without “a smidgeon of corruption”– so says the king, who’s chief political hack said Government is so big and vast Barry couldn’t possibly know what’s going on. Who could keep up with all that…corruption?

Yet he made the bold claim, “not a smidgeon”, putting it all on the line — what’s left of it.

Just like Clinton stood wagging his finger saying “I did not have sexual relations with that woman”. Just like Robert Torricelli pounded the podium denying corruption; just like that pile of cash found its way into William Jefferson’s freezer; just like Anthony Weiner said his on-line account was hacked.

Funny how the American people always draw the wrong conclusions about those odd circumstances.(sarcasm) Oh, and just like Obama now says that he clearly called Benghazi terrorism the morning after — but never did — before they went out blaming the video. Ooooooh that smell, can’t you smell that smell?

The really sad thing is that anyone in the world could believe him. Remember the blockbuster musical the Lion King? Well, this is the saga of “The Lying King”.

A big H/T to Dave for forwarding the article.

Dems oppose Gosnell resolution

Dems derail condemnation of ‘willful murder’

Substitute statement seeking prevention of ‘abusive’ treatment
by Michael Carl — WND

Two Senate Democrats apparently have blocked a resolution that would have condemned Philadelphia abortion murder case defendant Kermit Gosnell.

The proposed resolution cited Gosnell for the “untrained and uncertified personnel performing abortions, nonmedical personnel administering medications, grossly unsanitary and dangerous conditions, violations of law regarding storage of human remains, and above all, willful murder of infants born alive by severing their spinal cords.”

Instead, a substitute resolution expresses the sense of the Senate that “abusive, unsanitary, or illegal health care practices should be … prevented.”

The original cited Gosnell by name; the substitute only references “a physician at the Women’s Medical Society of Philadelphia.”

It was Sens. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., and Barbera Boxer, D-Calif., who stopped consideration of the resolution by dismissing the reports of infanticides that took place at Gosnell’s business.

To all the usual suspects, take a big bow.

It’s infanticide, stupid!

You’ve probably seen clips of this performance in Florida, but it’s worth seeing the whole video. Here is Planned Parenthood offering their moral support for infanticide.

Video: Planned Parenthood Official Argues for Right to Post-Birth Abortion

Florida legislators considering a bill to require abortionists to provide medical care to an infant who survives an abortion were shocked during a committee hearing this week when a Planned Parenthood official endorsed a right to post-birth abortion.

Alisa LaPolt Snow, the lobbyist representing the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, testified that her organization believes the decision to kill an infant who survives a failed abortion should be left up to the woman seeking an abortion and her abortion doctor.

Rep. Daniel Davis then asked Snow, “What happens in a situation where a baby is alive, breathing on a table, moving. What do your physicians do at that point?”

“I do not have that information,” Snow replied. “I am not a physician, I am not an abortion provider. So I do not have that information.”

http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/video-planned-parenthood-official-argues-right-post-birth-abortion_712198.html

Paraphrasing: ‘Oh, right, like you must mean that irrelevant, ancillary thing called a baby. Oh that!’

Sometimes they just don’t have the words to express their agenda.

H/T to Pepp for the articles.

Obama doesn’t like Internet news sites

That’s okay… they aren’t fond of him either

So Chuck Todd reveals Obama hates the Internet news, particularly WND. Gee, I wonder why?

‘Obama hates Internet news media’

NBC News Political Director Chuck Todd says President Obama was making it “clear” at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner over the weekend how he feels about the rise of Internet news sites like Politico, Buzzfeed and … well, WND.

“He hates it.”

/…
In fact, Obama took several opportunities during the speech to mock Internet news sites for exploring stories the mainstream media largely joined the president in laughing off – including hard questions about his faith, economic philosophy and agenda.

“Look I get it,” Obama joked. “These days I look in the mirror, and I have to admit I’m not the strapping, young, Muslim socialist that I used to be.”

Read more at http://www.wnd.com/2013/04/obama-hates-internet-news-media/#Itx3rpoui8WySL3V.99

So he’s an older one now. Looks like Obama needs a pity party.

Chuck Todd is now the self-appointed spokesman for Obama. Well, Jay Carney has his hands full, so it’s so nice Chuck can help out a little…a lot. How about that, Obama hates something besides America.

Nothing like having a media guy go out in the media to drive home the point, in case the people had missed it.

But then when you have lamestream media carrying your propaganda and the lies about your political opponents, who needs the Internet news?

The ripe fruit of Impeachment

The growing case for impeachment of Obama

What constitutional experts say about high crimes, misdemeanors

2//10/2013
by Chelsea Schilling — WND

Should Barack Hussein Obama, the 44th president of the United States, be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors?

It’s not a question yet being asked or debated in the Big Media. But it is a question being addressed by some members of Congress, by an increasing number of pundits by activists on the left and the right – and for more than one or two alleged constitutional offenses.

Some of those who have broached the subject include Reps. Trent Franks, R-Ariz.; Walter Jones, R-N.C.; Trey Radel, R-Fla.; Steve Stockman; former Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas; former Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio; Fox News’ Mike Huckabee; former assistant U.S. attorney Andrew McCarthy; left-leaning investigative reporter Dave Lindorff; talk-radio host Mark Levin; former House Speaker and presidential candidate Newt Gingrich; author and columnist Pat Buchanan and others.

Article II, Section 4, of the U.S. Constitution states, “The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.”

The U.S. House of Representatives has the power to commence impeachment proceedings. If the House adopts an impeachment resolution, the U.S. Senate conducts a trial and determines whether to convict or acquit. If an official is convicted, he or she is removed from the position and may be barred from holding office again. The official may also face criminal prosecution.

Only two U.S. president have been impeached by the House: Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton. However, both presidents were acquitted in the Senate. President Richard Nixon resigned before the full House had voted on his impeachment.

This powerful legislative check on executive and judicial wrongdoing is reserved for the most egregious offenses against the U.S. Constitution and the republic.

During the debates of the Constitutional Convention in 1787, James Madison explained the requirement for impeachment: “[S]ome provision should be made for defending the community against the incapacity, negligence, or perfidy of the chief magistrate. He might pervert his administration into a scheme of peculation or oppression. He might betray his trust to foreign powers.”

In the Federalist Papers (No. 65), Alexander Hamilton wrote that a president should be impeached for “offenses which proceed from the misconduct of public men, or in other words, from the abuse or violation of some public trust. They are of a nature which may with peculiar propriety be denominated political, as they relate chiefly to injuries done immediately to society itself.”

WND assembled a bipartisan panel of top constitutional experts to evaluate 12 popular arguments for impeaching Obama.

“Congress is not the serf of some lord of the manor in the White House.”

What Iran and Communist Party USA have in common: Chuck Hagel

Thanks to MJ for pointing out this article.

Hagel endorsed by Communist Party USA

Obama’s defense nominee previously earned Iran’s blessing

byAaron Klein WND 2/5/13

After reportedly receiving support from Iran, Chuck Hagel, President Obama’s  defense secretary nominee, has yet another endorsement to add to his resume,  this one coming from the Communist Party USA.

People’s  World, the Communist Party USA’s official magazine, touted Hagel as “represent[ing] the more sober elements who have called in our national  discourse for rejection of the old cold war tactics, the unilateralism and the  continual push for wars all over the world.”

As a senator, Hagel opposed sanctions on Iran, instead calling for “direct,  unconditional talks.” He was one of only 12 senators who refused to sign a  letter asking the European Union to declare Hezbollah a terrorist organization.

WND also reported Hagel serves on the board of the Ploughshares Fund, a George  Soros-funded group that advocates a nuclear-free world.

Iran could announce a temporary halt to uranium enrichment before next month’s U.S. election in a move to save Barack Obama’s presidency, a source affiliated with high Iranian officials said today.

The source, who remains anonymous for security reasons, said a three-person delegation of the Obama administration led by a woman engaged in secret negotiations with a representative of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The delegation urged the Iranian leader to announce a halt to enrichment, even if temporary, before the Nov. 6 election, promising removal of some sanctions.
