Persistent Thought

Just a thought here, since not every thought gets the light of day. That’s another matter.

Stevie Nicks had a big hit decades ago with a song (whoever wrote it) “stop dragging my heart around.” It started out with “Baby, you’ll come knocking on my front door….Same old line you used to use before”.

Often when I listen to Democrats, leftists, liberals, progressives, socialists, or whatever name they want to use, and at some point I can hear an echo of that song in my head. I’m tired of them trying to drag my heart around. Does that mean I don’t care? No.

But I’m just sick of hearing the emotionalism of the day drive the discussion or substituted for persuasion, and passion for reason. Then virtue signaling it all over the place. It’s tired and transparent. So, hey libs, get another groove ‘cause it don’t bust a move.
