The survey says: media bias running wild

The big bash: 86 percent of Romney coverage negative

By Jennifer Harper – The Washington Times

Media bias has gone from bad to ridiculous.

During Mitt Romney’s overseas visit earlier this week, 86 percent of the coverage on ABC, CBS and NBC “emphasized Romney’s perceived gaffes,” according to a content analysis of 21 major news stories by the Media Research Center, which also compared Mr. Romney’s trip to a similar excursion made by President Obama in 2008.

The results: The broadcast networks committed 53 minutes of almost entirely negative coverage to Mr. Romney, and 92 minutes of “gushing” to Mr. Obama.

“The near unanimous negativity of their coverage is as outrageous as it is transparent,” observes the center’s founder Brent Bozell. “It’s impossible to look at the fawning coverage of Obama’s trip in 2008 compared to the sliming Romney has taken in 2012 and not see a clear agenda on the part of the liberal media.”

There’s a surprise!

Good info bull. I had not seen this stat, but I haven’t really been in the mood to watch or read news in a while. Barry should not get one single Jewish vote, but as sure as I’m a redneck he will. The narcissist dictators have always had the perfect formula for a take over: control of the media; control of education and then allow the proper time to pass and they end up controlling the majority of the population and a country is in their hands. Then an amazing thing happens every damn time. The dumb assess that assisted letting the dictator to take over are just blown away and wonder how in the world did this horrible thing happen to us. Unfortunately; everyone has to lay in the same frigging bed the dumb asses help make.

Hile Obamastalin! How about to hell with Obamastalin…

Dave, good description. I wouldn’t add much. It is unfortunate as I’ve been reading a little about it and it sure looks like they’re preparing to do it again no matter what he is doing. Its sort of like trying to use paint thinner to get rid of a cold and ignoring what happens. But then there are some who support him who really want the bad effects.

What gaffes? London is already crying that they are losing a fortune because of the games – Bob Pickle says it can’t be the culture because Palestinians are doing great in this country and not one of the so called conservatives on THE FIVE said, ” It’s because of the culture in which they live – THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, where anyone can make it – and many do without help of the DICKtater’s government. It’s tough, but remember, about 225 years ago, we overcame the greatest power of that time – THE BRITISH EMPIRE. We can sure as hell beat this arrogant SOB.

Losing because of the games? I thought it was supposed to be a stimulus. 🙂 The Repubs are not to good at stopping them in their tracks and calling them out. What was that saying “a lie could travel around the world before truth gets out of bed” or something? We keep getting reminded all the time ‘we’ve seen this movie before’ and no one seems to notice it.

.Isn’t Biden the big expert on stimulus?..”Mr. Biden, London’s calling on line one, they want to know where their stimulus is? Should I tell them its in the mail?”

    Hi Bull,

I heard this on Fox. Brent Bozell comes onto Hannity’s show once a week with the truths about what the liberal media is doing. I don’t know if I can even call these people “liberals” anymore. They are following the Alinsky for radicals methods that Obama is steeped in.

The so called “gaffes” Romney made were so hyped it is infuriating. They claimed the whole trip was a negative for him and that no one liked him overseas. Well, the Israelis sure liked him. They gave him a standing ovation after his speech to them.

The Brits are weird. They go in for the “celebrity rock star” crap and that is how the elites view Obama when he comes their way. I don’t think other Brits think so much of that Liar in Chief. And what about his gaffes while overseas? Of course the state run media won’t mention those at all. And he has made plenty. The Obamas don’t even know how to behave right when across the pond.

Pepp, you’re right, look what they did to Maggy too. And she was one of their own. Not all just the powers that be.Heck, Pepp, you’re spot on. Obama has a disdain, and a giant chip on his shoulder, for the UK and then they fawn over him like an idol. Yea they ignore his gaffes and have to fabricate Romney’s. But guess what, we are the intolerant ones over here.

The Brits love their gossip there. And they love celebrity trash news. While I was in London on a business trip, I’d be on the train or tube and all the “suits” would be reading all of the rag mags. You couldn’t have gotten their attention if you screamed, so intensely were they reading gossip.

One of my taxi drivers said they love Slick Willy so much and they didn’t know why we Americans were making such a fuss over Monica. LOL! There were newspapers everywhere singing the praises of the Clintons.

Now these same elites love dear ole Obama, but when I look at British newspapers they run cartoons of him all the time.

Remember how the Obamas were at a dinner with the Queen and the band started to play their national anthem? Goof ball gets up in the middle of that anthem and is making a toast to the Queen. She looked horrified and he finally sat down. I’m not even sure he understood what a huge gaffe he made. It would almost seem like his handlers don’t teach him about protocol in these different countries.

So the media has a lot of nerve about Romney when their own hero has gaffes all the time when he’s overseas.

Pepp, that reminds me the Clintons, yea Obama gets a little love-jabs here and there, when push comes to shove. I had noticed that I rely more on the UK paper when reading some of the scandals. They detail it. At least they aren’t afraid to report it and don’t act like WH communication staff. I’ve turned to the Guardian and a few others that tell you stuff no one else will. And then he gets drooled over though, when there, so his swelled head gets the impression its an all out love affair. I think Clinton did go over better in UK. And he always played to them too. If Obama couldn’t hold his hand over his heart here, I can’t fathom he has much respect for tradition there either. They say, “no problem, we still love you.”
